I have this bike and I love it. I only use it to ride around our big subdivision, but it's a blast and I can usually ride until I don't wanna ride anymore. Only goes 32 mph but it gets there in a hurry!
That's awesome! I'm liking mine so far. I've got a video coming out this week trying to get some extra performance out of it by tuning the Bluetooth controller... No big gains though, but you can get a better throttle response.
Hi, I just subscribed to see how you changed the battery and more. I have the black version of the venom E-Vader and I need a new lithium battery to fit for longer range.
@@overvolted that’s great. Am linking my bike so far, it’s very descent and nothing too crazy, I just want a good range on the bike that’s all. The lead acid is weak and doesn’t provide longer range o I just need to purchase a lithium battery for longer range. Which battery did you get cus I want to get one too and fit it in the bike? Or I can just wait until you post the video on the new battery you got on the way and how to install it .
Awesome! I'm planning on it and have things on the way. First I think I'm going to do just a lithium battery upgrade and see how much more punch and range we get. Then comes the larger motor and 8kw or 10kw.
@@overvolted Can you tell us the battery you are getting or the link I really need help with the battery upgrade. I finally rode my bike and the range was horrible. After 10 miles of full throttle, the bike displays the charging sign.
Oh did it really!? So lm going to have two different batteries. I was buying another battery already for a bomber bike build and I was going to test it first with this bike. It is a 72v 60ah 150a bms (a bit overkill for this bike but like I said it's ending spot is a different bike)Here's a link to that one that I bought. It's not here yet but I'll be making a video with it when it shows up (if it fits). a.aliexpress.com/_mP1nxEu
....yea... Mine's X. pro version.... Glossy black better looking and the frame welds are better looking.... I guess they had 2 or 3 different factories in china with all these variations..... I don't even see mine available anymore..... $$$
I got the X. pro electric grom... It's not available on amazon anymore anyways I got $1,000 discount and it works reliable it does everything that you would expect it to do and it has a lot of torque.... It accelerates so fast it's pretty dangerous...
Looking forward to this build! Wish I went with the electric version. I ordered my clone from venom like 2 years ago and now wanna covert it to electric
Subbed. Although if I can make a request, swap the battery before you swap the engine. I love these electric mini bike builds but I wish for once someone would focus on overall range rather than just trying to make it a fire breathing monster, no pun intended. If I were doing it myself I'd rather have a bike with comparable power to the Grom with all-day range, rather than a 100mph beast that can have its battery drained in 30 minutes.
How do you stop the shock From making a.. clunk... When you relieve the weight It's on the upswing.... I'm hearing about it breaking the shock mount? Do I relieve the Preset spring tension Or add more spring tension to the rear?
Is this the rear shock that's doing that? I don't have that issue on mine. Might want to get a replacement shock or maybe do an upgrade with something more substantial.
I'm thinking about ordering one. Curious what lithium battery setup you will be going with? I'm new to this stuff so just now digging into research. Sounds like the Lead-acid battery needs to go first. Will be following to see what you end up doing and how much extra power and range you get with the lithium battery.
Awesome! Mine is going to be a 2 step process. I have another lithium ion battery coming for a different build that I'm going to put in here and test with. Then the plan is to upgrade the motor as well on this bike so I'll need a battery back with a bigger bms to push the extra wattage. So I'll probably be building that one to save some cash.
@@arthurhardisonjr.2192 awesome! Thank you. Sometimes it's hard to put in the time to keep it going, but kind words from people like you make a big difference. Thank you!
Awesome! How are you liking it? You can get battery packs on AliExpress that would fit. It would probably be best to measure the battery compartment and see how much space you have to fit a larger lithium based battery .you can even get them made at custom sizes (or make one yourself) if you'd like to to max out the range.
I haven't got to ride it because charging it is a problem since I live in an apartment. I tried charging it at a Blink charging station, which only accepts 240v chargers, and it blew my 110v charger. But overall it's a pretty nice bike and I would love to keep using it. Do you know how fast it goes with the speed limiter off? @@overvolted
YammieNoob says it’s not any good but his alternatives were old bikes that won’t resonate to new bikers since they won’t know how to buy used bikes. Anyways this looks like a perfect truck bike for on the go. Looks perfect for intercity & short trails
Yeah, I think I remember seeing some glossy black versions prior instead of this matte black version. The sides paint fairly easily as well if you want to do a paint job. I had another one that I painted that turned out pretty good
I bought one myself and used it for only about 3months. It was fun but not fast and isn’t very reliable. Batter dies super fast and the controller is terrible. Venom Evaders are only fun when you don’t look down at it and realize it’s a full motorcycle but only goes 35 top speed. That’s trash. Although I found a better way to upgrade then. You can purchase an QS motor and a controller should increase your speed to 55 mph. Although its battery is terrible too. I’d replace it Immediately!
Lol! Yeah there's definitely some shortcomings. A handful of batteries just arrived that I'm going to be upgrading this with. Swapping to lithium! We'll see how the range is on the stock motor and then we'll bump up the motor!
@scarlettwilke9252 full throttle about 20 on mixed hills. I have another video doing the range test on it and also switching it to lithium to get more range

Do they ship to the uk
