Fascinating that they sing a work song while doing a complex/heavy task. It's a fantastic way used to focus the mind and has been used by humans throughout history in military and civilian fields. Not only does the song help them work, but it reinforces their obedience to Zod, maybe without them even realizing it.
I think Zod is literally brainwashing them with his willpower. Since the phantom zone is literally controlled by willpower, if you were strong enough, you could bend someone to your will if they weren’t mentally strong enough.
Okay if I remember correctly. Zod in theory would know of him being superboy. Remember, his defeat was indeed due to connors legacy so I feel like much like his son he figured out what inspired them. They also mentioned not knowing a species when pointing out ghosty who is also human looking. they might have just aimed to kill and after learning he’s alive with no memory connor is a useful weapon. Hell just think, zod conveniently found Connor and again he seems to know him
He even kinda further hints at knowing connors at least an kryptonian as he does group Connor into his own army. I don’t really think he would do that for humans
I can confirm yes, it gets stuck. I've been looking for this all morning. That brainwashing, psychological conditioning shit right there. That was my first thought and goes pretty well with the study I've been doing on the subtle ways cults or other institutions can infiltrate core belief systems starting from shallow, surface thoughts. And Connor's mind is abnormally malleable due to trauma and mental exhaustion bombarded on him over so many months.
My favorite part is that superman hasnt met him yet in this timeline, keeping the interactions fresh. Im also excited for their inevitable interactions with darkseid, it's looking like he's getting ready to start something and the krytonians probably wont help him
I think that was the intention, or at least to portray some level of creepiness and sinister intention. Plus since they are all stuck in the Phantom Zone, they have plenty of time to practice.
I feel like the whole moving things and communicating through willpower might be foreshadowing to Conner developing his Telekinetic powers from the comics during his time in the phantom zone, maybe it’ll be the very thing that lets him (and most likely Zod) escape.
I feel like this story around Connor might be a way to justify him getting full Kryptonian powers in some way. Also, it will likely tease Wally and how he returns, if they decide to do that.
On one hand, he could be playing the fool or he is falling under because of his mental state. But something no one is considering is that Zod will see Conner as someone closer than Lor-Zod.

Connor doesn't sound like himself. He sounds like a drone. I think the memory flashes are either fragments of his subconscious trying to keep his identity intact, or it's more of himself slipping away. Either way, when they rescue him from the Phantom Zone, be it via the projector or magic, he's not going to be normal.
as time goes on superboys hallucinations seem to get closer and closer to his basic instincts. In the beginning he remembers miss m and the life they built together, but as time goes on you see all the more recent memories and experiences fade. Its at this point that he starts thinking about abandoning phantom girl and wavering back and forth on this. Until his final hallucination which was him fulfilling his reason for creation. Killing superman for lex luthor.
Alternatively, it’s possible that some of Superboy’s dormant Cadmus conditioning is resurfacing due to his memories being screwed up, and he may end up reverting back to how he was before he became part of the team…
Honestly I don’t think it’s either deliberate manipulation or Conner genuinely being converted. I think it’s just him realizing that this is his best option and rolling with it. Now if he starts getting his memories back and Zod figures out that he’s an El, this’ll get a lot more complicated.

In recent comics, Zod and his family are on much better terms with the house of El than they were previously and I hope the show goes that route. …………..ZOD!…………
The singing part kinda reminded me of the opening to Frozen, when the those Ice Carvers were singing 😅
These scene does seem unusual - perhaps due to superheroes being the product of American culture and Americans value democracy and freedom. So to see a superhero kneel is a rare thing, even though obedience isn’t necessarily a negative trait.
Superboy just went rogue only miss Martian can save him for now he belongs to the house of zod now
When darkseid said to lor zod that he will help him get the phantom zone projector so the kryptonians can join the galactic war between vandal and darkseid he doesn't give a fuck🔥🔥
Zods team consists of a House of El member, he has a superman logo on his chest.
Kru El
We’re doomed
Imagine how powerful a green lantern would be in this dimension. Not that the rings would work, but just how the dimension works. All built off willpower? How about some warriors that do that on the regular?
Have people not been watching the season? Superboy isn't playing dumb, he's had a few psychotic breaks because he's had no one to talk to for months.
Zod (1970): KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!
Superman (1970): NO!
Zod (2022): Join me or die alone.
Superboy (2022): I obey.
This just became Disney for 5 Seconds
I hope Conner knows what he is doing
you tube for the house of Zod.
Kinda feels like zod is partly genuine.
I prefer genuine villains. You can connect with their humanity a little more
@@bigbawlzlebowski8886 like yeah he has ulterior motives and we know that but at the same time his way of thinking works in the pz he is not completely evil.
Cant wait for the next episode. Zod and his supercrew coming out of the Phantom Zone to fuck shit up.
I can't be the only one thinking that this feels like a cult lol
Conner needs to get out of there
This song is catchy asf
Better than let it go
Disney has nothing on this musical number
Kneel before zod
The song goes so hard and I love it
Too bad it cut his splicing memories of the wedding rituals on mars.
Especially *"win for the House of Zod"* over the happy couple under a beautiful wedding arch Connor representing in a way victory for the House of Zod now in his situation, figuratively corrupting his past and former identity into this soldier.
I have memorized the song and it's pretty catchy.
I highly recommend you guys watch the Rated-R show "Krypton". It's the Game of Thrones of DC, no joke. The Zods have never been more interesting
That show was canceled though
@@siyasithole7995 Unfortunately. They didn't have enough budget for another season, if I'm not mistaken. But it's still worth the watch
Samsung galaxy A11 signing out for Tuesday today 16th of May 2022.
