Wanting to be as pure as tyre title but dirtier than the color of my skin. Before you races were still just for sport. After the whole world is suffering. And what you call it when a white person kills a family member, best friend, stranger who looks like them? Same thing you say about us you do far worse than us. Only good at deception and lies. Everything good is always some thing bad and anything bad is always something good. Triggered were you. Even without the gun it's easy to pull when you see the truth you hate to ok at. I'm not to blame say the murder still holding the gun. Getting mad over facts where they do that at? AMERICA. I don't blame you. If my leaders and family and friends were savages if be mad too.

My oldest has 1 and a half yrs of high school left and my youngest is 8 in the 3rd grade... My 2 boys are 14 and almost 11. So please tell this white woman why having mixed babies with nappy hair a not knowing how to comb it is funny.

@@mrsdumas6613 i was being insensitive with my comment. ❤ i just want t clarify these comments coming at you: Honestly you have to understand hair is not just "hair" in the Black Community. There is a book called " Hair Story" by Ayana D. Byrd and Lori L. Tharps about exactly why hair is important to black people. Please read it. All of Our Stories are rooted and wrapped up in Slavery and Africa. You probably don't want to hear that or already know it. Idk. But Black hair is one of our stories. Being sensitive to why we may be upset with something is a good first step to being understanding that we have a reason. Its not just aesthetics. You have those beautiful black children and being understanding of the black community will give you an understanding of Blackness. Black hair is truly like a crown to be worn and is in inbeaded in our cultural roots. Ok I'm rambling. Get that book. Also there was a scene on Greys anatomy where Bailey educated Dr. Shepherd about their adopted daughter's hair and why black people kept staring at him. It truly is a black thing and since you have all thoses beautiful babies they'll proud that you've educated yourself on an intimate part of their heritage. I don't mean to offend. ❤❤❤

The way she uses her voice throughout the poem is so wonderfully executed. I don’t know how to describe aside from that it always caught my attention, she didn’t even need it to keep me locked on the screen but she did it anyway adding so much more to the performance. You can see her passion about the topic she talks about. And to mention the topics she hit oh my goodness! It’s about racism yes but it manages to hit the biggest and smallest parts of it all. Like how a black man is walking scared he will get shot or worse and the white woman clutch their purses. It hits the largest and tiniest bits of racism that are experienced everyday by black men. (Obviously there was more things she talked about and did wonderfully but I don’t want this comment to be even longer.)

It's not fair for biracial children to be brought into this world and then the parents don't know how to care for their hair/didnt put any effort into even learning how. It's irresponsible. They can't just throw it up into a ponytail. That stuff takes effort and I see too many biracial children with wild hair because of their irresponsible parents. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone's situation. Not even my own, as a mixed kid. My parents didn't have support from their parents and barely had the time to breathe, let alone research about our hair. My sister and I only learned through UA-cam. ManesbyMell showed me how to wash and style my hair but I have a feeling I'm still not doing everything right. It's a process
