- Some might say that the Troper Tales Archive is a gateway to a simpler, better time where nerds roamed wild and free. They'd be dead wrong. Especially when it comes to the conservative weirdos who want to be kings in medieval europe.

@@canaisyoung3601 it's more said to mean that you can wear the clothes without perpetuating harmful ideas, like you can layer it up all you like like a proper victorian lady, but also compliment your friend on her short shorts. Accept that what you like to wear doesn't give you permission to slut shame. It also is used in response to people telling vintage dressers they were born in the wrong era, which can be really messed up especially if said to a person of color, woman, any queer person, or just decent people in general.

I love the classical age. It was great. Pastoral, brutal, short, violent in ways modern people can't even comprehend as having actually been normal for the time. It's so funny, when people dream of being born in the past, always imagen they will be well off in education, money and status. But until a few decades ago and still in this day in most places, 99% of all people were born as farmers in rinkydink viallge in the middle of nowhere, working from when they are a child until the keel over with fifty, if they even get that old.
Edit: I get always annoyed, when people say, they want to be born in the middle ages, as if it's a specific period. It is a span of roughly 1000 years! But they probably think about the period, that hollywood movies exist in (which is probably very oftend the renaissance)

As the story progresses, the nazi woman becomes more entrenched in the regime and more extreme in her beliefs. They both struggle with the former relationship and the conflict therein: the nazi woman is increasingly degraded and devalued while she tries to 'overcome' that former relationship to do her 'duty' to the nazis, while the lesbian jew obviously fights for her life with her former lover's betrayal in mind, eventually escaping at the end of the story.
I would say read the 18+ Kar98 x Negev then i remember its a corruption manga with a jew who develops stockholm syndrome that got someone fired

I find several medieval ages vey interting, but also, even the better off people didnt live very long and most people, ere not previoledged, youhate it today, then forget back then. Ok thats overstated, ther wer ust far less rights, farmr for example, were more agnowledged, but life was harder with less medicine and as much as they were not depüressed all the time, its usually better now.
