    VADA PAV RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
    Pav (bread/soft dinner rolls)
    For the Coating of the Vada:
    1 Cup Besan (Chickpea Flour)
    2 Tbsp Rice Flour
    1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
    1/4 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
    A Pinch of Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
    1 Tsp Salt
    1 Cup Water
    1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
    For the Vada:
    2 Green Chillies
    2 inch Ginger
    8-10 Garlic Cloves
    10-12 Curry Leaves
    1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves
    2 Tbsp Oil
    1/4 Tsp Hing (asafoetida)
    1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
    1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
    2 Tbsp Cashew Nuts
    1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
    1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
    1/4 Tsp Garam Masala
    1.5 Tsp Salt
    1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
    2 Cups Potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
    Oil for Appe Pan
    For the Red Chutney:
    1/4 Cup Peanuts
    8-10 Garlic Cloves
    1 Tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
    1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
    1 Tsp Salt
