Great stuff, sir. Brief with all the essentials.
Thank you Brian for posting this video. I never had to replace front bearings before, so you're video taught me exactly how to do it with no problems. I especially like how you showed viewers that you don't have to unbolt and lower the control arm to access the four bearing bolts, which many mechanics will do. It was tight, but moving the wheel side to side made it do-able. Thanks again.
Glad to hear the tips and video was helpful. Thank you for watching!
Its the details about the Bolt Sizes for me... Thanks Brian
Thanks for the video. I like how you compress the job into such a short tutorial. You make it look easy to produce this type of content.
Rob's Wrenches thank you. But it's not easy.
I know it's not. You've gotten it down to a science though. It shows, clearly. LOL I imagine it takes just as long, if not longer, to edit, render, and upload.
Thank you for making this video 👍🏼
Nice video Brian. I might have missed it, but shouldn't you pack it with bearing grease before putting the new hub on?
Thinking about upgrading torque wrenches to the flex heads with the knob adjustment that you can leave set and won't ruin the calibration
Jursaw I was thinking about upgrading to the digital ones.
How to Automotive Yeah I used one 1/2" snap on tech angle and it was nice! Only 1 year of warranty though
Jursaw I'm not a big fan of Snap-on and their service.
How to Automotive I hear you on that one.
Brian, how do you decide whether to use blue or red threadlocker? I've always heard that bolts with the red can't be removed without a torch.
Her is a video to help you decide which thread locker to useua-cam.com/video/sL0ur7IVEps/v-deo.html
Is it better to replace the whole hub with the bearing ? Or just the bearing?
Hector Rocha on this car that's how it comes. But in general it's a lot less work replacing both of them at the same time. It would also depend on each type of vehicle you're working on.
