    Idc how dry my skin is or how much i luv CT. Im not paying $100 for that small amt

      @toyia8158 9 місяців тому +45

      Exactly!!! I’m sorry but there are sooo many other products that can give you good hydration for much less than $100, especially for the amount CT gives you.

      Agree! I stopped buying expensive creams/serums when I found products from The Ordinary. Recently, I tried Avon Anew cream and Olay Retinol 24 (not at the same time, lol). Amazing results from each one, which shocked me!

      The full size is $100, the small size she showed is about $30. But your original point still stands

      @kait_herring 9 місяців тому +7

      Yeah I fell for it and bought the mini original magic cream for $30.. it’s good but the CeraVe night cream in the purple jar is just as good if not better 😊

    You cant judge a moisturizer on 'looks'.. you need to look at the ingredients and see why CT might be so much more expensive than the other one..

    • @chiquitabanana89768
      @chiquitabanana89768 9 місяців тому +29

      Yes this. Looks and feel aren't it. You need to know what is in it and how it performs over time!!!

    • @barbthegreat586
      @barbthegreat586 9 місяців тому +17

      Yes, tells the ingredients that are so much better and perform well over time in CT cream. Also, give some details how you assessed performance over time.

      All the actives in the magic cream are under 1% so is unlikely to give any benefits plus the glass jar makes it likely to degrade. It's all marketing

    I have both, bough5 the Revolution as heard it was a dupe for CT. It definitely isn’t, nothing like CT although not a bad moisturiser on a budget. They do a dupe of Bobby Brown Face Base which is a closer dupe.

    If you have been using the magic cream for hydration but you still always have dry skin…. Maybe you should buy actual skin care from a company that specializes in it!!! Try dermalogica, perricone md, Kate Somerville, skinfix…. Even drunk elephant.

    We've had the revolution one in the UK for a good while now. I believe they have changed the fragrance and toned it down plus a fragrance free one too I think I heard. It is a strong fragrance and I wasn't overseen on that personally.

    I have super dry skin and I like Dr Gross Dewey Deep Cream Vitamin C- Lactic Moisterizer. The fragrance is lighter and citrusy, not perfumey. And it has a gel cream consistency not as thick as CT. A little tacky, but extremely dry skin will absorb it.
    CT 1.7 oz. $100
    Dr. Gross 2 oz. $75

    I got the 200$ bottle. Gunna have to try this though so I can save a little coin. If it's as good.. because I LOVE CT and the results I get. It's literally saved me from getting Botox sooner. It extends the life of Botox IMO. It's just SO good. I've got the large water cream one too. I let my bf use that one as I enjoy the original best. ❤
