Yes!! I saw someone review the foundation stick and I was shocked they didn’t say anything about the weird metallic sheen happening. Thank you for always telling us exactly how you feel and giving it to us straight. I’ll say it if you won’t- you ARE better and way more authentic than a lot of the influencers out there. Also you may not actively do makeup artistry anymore but in this newbie MUAs opinion you will always be a makeup artist at heart ❤
Second this 100%! Almost bought the foundation stick but decided to check out Morgan’s review first. I LOVE highlighters but I buy and apply a foundation for a completely different reason so this would have been a huge disappointment for me. Thanks for savings my $$, appreciate you so much!

I bought the Maybelline blush even after your critical review because I don't wear foundation. It works so so good without foundation and applied with a brush🥰 I even like it more than my rare beauty liquid blush in a similar color because it's easier to apply and not to over apply! So I do understand your review but for all non foundation users it's a really good drugstore product!

Morgan, you're using the Armani sheer glow enhancer, but I think what you're really looking for is supposed to be the "cheek tint". 53 and 62 are what Sabrina Carpenter's makeup artist said they use 🩷

I so appreciate your reviews and I know I can always trust them. It’s very disappointing to follow influencers who have rave reviews for most products. It feels more like they are on the side of the makeup companies. Not everyone can like every product. For example, with the Kosas Glow IV, a very well known MUA was raving and nothing was said about the glitters. So many people could have gone and bought that based on her rec. I know they can’t point out every positive/negative, but so many others were like “there are glitters!” I appreciate your honesty!! I come to you for reviews I know I can trust. ❤
If you look at the top of the clear cap on the elf lip liners, they have the shade names. It took me some searching to find it, so it’s pretty easy to miss. Just letting you know, Morgan!
I never noticed that before so I’ve been cutting the little name off of the plastic package then using a piece of scotch tape to stick it under where it says “e.l.f.” 💀 oh geez lol thank you for sharing 🙏

I love the new CT foundation stick. I do use concealer with it and powder the t-zone. Not sure which reviews you've seen (I'm sure many more than me as this is your job), but the only people I trust that I've seen like it definitely also mention it won't be for everyone. I'm allergic to the Flawless Filter but not this product so it's worth it to me for that reason alone.
Oh, I'm 41 with dry slightly textured skin if that helps anyone. What I have found is that this does not make my skin drier, whereas some of my other products do--which can also make texture worse (yes even with very careful, intentional skin prep). So for me, texture isn't any more enhanced in comparison. But again, I do indeed powder the t-zone with this because I don't like those areas to look shiny ever.
I LOVE the Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin Tint stick. BUT I have extremely dry skin. & I’m also wearing it with concealer & powder so that tones down the metallic sheen that you’re talking about. I completely see how people wouldn’t love it, but for me, it’s my favorite right now.

Mine too! Dry skin 20 something with hyperpigmentation and use it with the Elf Halo Glow to get more moisture and just a touch more coverage on my hyperpigmentation. Makes me look waaaay less dull!
For the Sacheu, I use it as all over color, not a liner, sometimes with gloss on top. It always comes out really nice
I got the L’Oréal highlighter but in the other shade, the Icey champagne shade and it’s much prettier and shinier than the white gold one you used.

@@laurenalvarez2766 It’s 15 Icy Champagne (im pretty sure the sticker has rubbed off) I’m telling you it’s literally the only drugstore highlighter I own. It’s more subtle and there’s no glitter. But the icy shine shift against the transparent champagne nude color is really pretty for everyday. I find myself reaching for it often even though I bought it in a whim. I am fair/light, but saw that white one was gold and got the nude one because it said Icy. I think it looks really nice with neutral blush and bronzer too. I’m a Dior and Chanel, and Pat McGrath girl so when I say it’s a good highlighter that you can grab from Walgreens, it’s good. Haha 😂
I have been LOVING the Dew la la!! i love that it's thin, works well with every formula AND it's not too glittery! i've tried to find a nice glowy base or something to mix with foundation that is not too glittery or sparkly. But i agree with the highlighter part. would not wear on top of makeup.
The toofaced brow gel has the same brush and the formula is so much better!!!!❤🎉

I love the Milani mascara. Works great on my lashes. So much better then the Sephora brands. Makes me look like I am wearing false lashes. Mascara is 100% personal preference and based on your natural lashes. I have long semi thick lashes. I use lash growth serum.

I ADORE the CT foundation stick but didn’t buy it full price- waited until a sale here in the UK. Love how light it feels on the skin and the ultra dewy glow! I usually pair it with Elf Halo Glow for a bit more coverage in my more trouble areas. But I love the Maybelline jumbo Age Rewinders too and think they give a very similar effect at a fab price point for anyone who doesn’t want to pay the full price.
I have the Armani blush in red. I put it on the back of my hand and use a brush. I use very little because it’s pigmented and I’ve never had a problem. It’s beautiful and it stays on well. Mine doesn’t have any glitter. Must be that color.
I think Morgan was using the Armani Sheer Glow Enhancer vs the Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint…so that may be why hers had the sparkle in it and the formula didn’t perform as well. Haha all the releases and bottles look so similar it’s hard to tell them apart!

The only new blush I tried and can't stop wearing is the Feeling Cheeky Clean Amplifying Blush Duo in Lasting Love. This is my go to viral makeup. I tried the Elf Cream Gel Lip Liner in Truth and Bare and I just wear a lip liner with it. Ever since I got this off of Amazon, the pigment last longer. I normally use the Elf HD Powder and my makeup last longer even the same with the lip liner.

I though the Armani blushes were lovely, I quite like the sheer finish as most liquid blushes are too pigmented
CT foundation stick: I have it, I love it: here’s the facts-
1. I don’t apply it everywhere, the lady in the flagship store taught me how to use- a little on the cheeks, under the jaw line, slightly on the forehead head ( a little bit) no nose, no chin…if you use it right, it looks fantastic, I’m in love with it- but it’s not for everybody
2. Not sure how it is on texture skin. I happen to have basically no texture, so this product is easier for me than probably 95% of people who have some texture bc some texture is normal, I’m a freak…but yeah if you’re like me and you just need a little and know how to use, it’s actually a game changer, my wife says it’s her fave product on me:)
Armani blush - the pink one, tried it today, absolutely love. It IS a weird color though and NOT for everyone- I’m pretty fair, it’s a good color for me, but I think really only for light girls, or dark girls.. I think it would pop beautifully on black skin. But it’s sold out everywhere, so I have a nix lipstick in the same shade that I’m going to try 😂
I’m wondering with the charlotte skin tint if the shade matters. I’m super fair and got shade 1 or 2 and it’s not that shiny. Not even as glowy as flawless filter. It’s so pretty and perfect. Makes me wonder if certain shades are shinier!?😊

Yes 👏🏼 Yes 👏🏼 Yes to your thoughts on Milani’s Highly Rated! I find it both smudgy and flakey. My faves are L’Oréal Voluminous Butterfly (awesome brush!) and Lancôme Hypnôse Buildable Voluminizing - and both come in exceptional waterproof formulas!

I have oily skin and I bought the Patrick Ta highlighter in the white shade and daddy and I loved the way they go on and they don’t become greasy. My hair doesn’t stick to them so maybe it’s more oily girl friendly. Thank u for your honesty

Yeah I saw 2 people saying the ct foundation was good and they had turned their lights way down. I felt it was shady.
So I also had some issues with the ct foundation, It’s basically supposed to be used like flawless filter in a stick under makeup or over it for dew, it’s not supposed to be used as a foundation, I retried it as a primer and it is way better but not worth the price
My lips are far from perfect and I love the ABH liquid lip! Matte lips are usually way too dry for me and that one feels so soft and comfy.

Please recommend some good liquid blushes! I'm looking for a sheer formula.
The liquid serum blushes from XX Revolution have a sheer effect - the word serum gives it away - and are a little dewy without being greasy, nor do they remain sticky. They're buildable if you want more colour pay-off. I usually use 2 small dots, sometimes 3 depending on the shade, for a pretty natural look. They have a pipette and I'm not much of a fan of that thing - I usually use it as a applicator instead of pressing it out - but I do love how it looks on my skin; very natural without emphasising texture (I'm 47yo in 2wks and have dry skin with - atm - a lot of milia).
The K-beauty brand Lilybyred has heart-shaped cream blushes called Luv Beam Cheek Balm that also create a sheer effect. They're really between a cream and a balm. They're buildable if you want more than a wash of colour.

Some people may be confusing the Armani Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer Highlighters with the Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tints. I did lol 🫠😂 I think you may have gotten the wrong one of the above 2, but maybe I’m incorrect. One person’s trash is another’s treasure 👑💕

Sucker! I fell for the hype and brought two of the Sacheu lip liners.I have the Coral and Red colors. I like how long the liner lasts. Don't like waiting for it to dry and the fact that you can't apply a smooth line is a deterrent.
It's ridiculous! I have stopped following/watching several people because their not interested in telling me what products are really good but more concerned about how many times their videos are seen. Also stopped following if all they review are high end. I don't need to spend $80 on a blush!
I feel we’re in a time where everything is viral. Every time I see a vid on TikTok is “this viral product”. It’s so easy for everything to go viral no matter how mediocre the product may be. It’s never viral enough to keep in their routine bcs they’re onto the next viral product 🙃🙃
Hot take- I think the Elf liquid blush is awful. 😅 I thought it was maybe the color so I bought another. Still no. Then because everyone is raving about it I went & bought a 3rd- I know that’s not logical 😂 but just no. It doesn’t blend right, it sits on top of skin and it removes my makeup.
