My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. @@kn397 mostly tours of NY on a bus or tickets to some sort of show. If you go to Times Square it’s definitely a bit hectic. Now that I’ve been a bunch of times I plan out where I wanna be and typically stay away from Times Square! Definitely worth it if you haven’t been before though :)

@@kn397 So in times square there are people dressed up as characters who want to get pictures with kids because to get a picture they need to receive a tip after. All these characters, which are not as kind as disney characters at actual disney, are trying to grab the kids or ask for pictures so they'll be paid and jess is telling them 'No thank you'

My mom dose every year she saw it happen and want to take us to the memorial it makes me super sad but am grateful that I get to know more and more each year from different people
lilia's excitement makes me so happy. i was the same way a couple years ago, obsessed with hamilton, thought it was the best thing in the world. and as a camp counselor this summer i was working with kids her age, and it's so wonderful. makes me miss my kids sm!! im glad you guys had a good time and i hope you're doing alright in your quarantine.

I saw a white rose too when I went a week ago! That’s so sweet. Also, something I learned was that the people that were in the subway also died. It gave me goosebumps going on the subway after.

i was not technically alive for 9/11 i was in my moms womb haha but my mom and dad found out right before that i was a girl and they named me Hope because the world needs a little more hope haha:) and also my parents were battling infertility and i was a little miracle baby because they were about to start trying to adopt!:)

Had to watch this to live vicariously. I actually got COVID presumptively when I saw Hamilton in January 2020, still worth it haha we were 14th row orchestra section and it was one of the best days of my life. 100% would drop $250 to see it again.
Coming back to this video as I plan to take my 12 year old to see Hamilton in Jan 2023!

I went to so many Broadway shows with my mom. Once I asked a lighting tech at phantom of the opera for advice and they ended up taking us backstage. Show love to the crew.

Hotel EDISON!!! You’re so lucky to be among the first guests to enjoy the new renovations. My grandfather’s office was in Manhattan and they stayed at Hotel Edison a few days every week. They lived just over the border from upstate/southern tier of NYS in the northern tier of PA, about 4.5 hrs from “The City”. As kids we used to go with them and grandma would take us to the Broadway shows, museums, Statue of Liberty, while he was in meetings. I still have Hotel Edison matchbooks and copies of “Playbill” from the 1970’s. We were lucky enough to see “Cats” and “Phantom of the Opera” in the early days. The staff at Hotel Edison knew all of us by name. Great memories. The view from your room looks so familiar. My grandparents always had a suite on that same side of the hotel.
Lilia’s smile and excitement is priceless. I’m your Mom’s age and trust me when I say, you’re giving your kids THE best memories any kid would be lucky to have. We were lucky to be able to travel growing up, and have shared those adventures with our kids, but there are so many kids who have never left their town, county or state. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Upstate New York and the city. Hope you’re feeling better soon ❤️

I’ve had a bunch of covid tests (bc I had 5 surgeries in the past year) and I will say that from what I’ve experienced, the places that touch your brain with the qtip are either the hospital or the lab at the hospital! And those HURT! Places like the doctors office, walk in urgent care clinics, and cvs all do the gentle swabbing!
I have a hard time watching these videos because they make me so envious. You are able to give your kids so many experiences because you have more money than I could ever dream of. The amount of times you and your kids have been to Disney is staggering. Life is just so unfair sometimes.
I don't know your situation so i can't say what you can and can't do, but the luxuries in life cost money and you gotta work hard to get them.
I have more money now than i once did. I couldn't afford to go on holidays etc, now i can. I went to Greece in September and Morocco a couple of weeks ago.
Things seem far away or unachievable, but it's not always. There's always gonns be people who have more than you though 🤷♀️

My Mom's Best Friend Lost her Husband on 9/11 He was in the south tower Had gotten out but heard someone screaming for help so he went back in and never came back out. He was identified one month to the day on Oct 11th and he was only identified by his Wedding ring

In the UK our covid tests are a throat swab and up the nose as far as you can go, looks so much more bearable the way the US is doing it. My husband has to get a minimum of 3 tests a week, 2 rapid and 1 pcr because he works in health care so is used to it by now but it's not a fun process!

Subway in New York is 2.75 per person..for 11 ppl thats...30.25 one way..both ways it's 60.50..WOW... that's a lot of money..I know New York is expensive but that's crazy...
I went hard rock..we saw Cats (the musical) and we stayed in a hotel for a week...this was in 94 the year I graduated high school..and for one burger it cost 8.00.. At the hard rock ..we stayed in the middle of time square..I never got use to the night time noise..it was constant noise..it never shut down..I wasn't use to the fog, the cold (in June it was freezing) the smells, and the noise and lights ..it was just too much..I was raised to use my manners but by the end of the day my throat hurt from saying NO THANKS... AND even when you tell them No the venders still try to get you to buy something... I did make some God purchases..I got 3 tshirts for 10.00..a Disney watch for 2p.00.. and a few other things funny part was anything a cop came around they were in a hurry to get rid of you...lol...I realized that and I kept them longer just because. Haha... You cant rush a young lady.. especially if you have different colors...lol...
