Hearing your kids describe your parenting like that brought tears to my eyes. You are such a good mother and you’re definitely raising them with love and compassion and that really shows, through how kind, respectful and comfortable your kids are. So many children don’t have the same experience growing up. So many kids are scared of their parents which breaks my heart. You are doing such a good job with them!

I love the new intro I love how you took the kids ideas in to consideration. My daughter is 7 and she does Cheerleading and dance ( they have it together) and then have gymnastics as well! They cheer for the basketball season! Then they have a dance competition/ show at the end of the season.

That fan sound has been haunting my memory for the past 10 years! My dishwasher broke in the middle of the night and filled my apartment with water up to the ankels (it rained at the downstairs neighbor) had two fans 24/7 for about a month or so. Trust me I have no judgement on what cheerleaders and "so-called dancers" called themselves. Trust me, the rest of the girls in school never actually cared about you, because you never cared or paid attention to the lesser (in your eyes) students at all!

So I was a dancer until last March when my studio closed. We (I was an assistant) teach the kids to use their opposite hand, unless they knew how to do kartweels and stuff like that before they started with us.
I think it would be so awesome to do a little segment around each kid with you with mom/kid questions. They are all so hilarious!

I was a cheerleader for what feels like my whole life. I am currently a tumbling coach so I love that Addie wants to try. From what I know in the all star world is the The California all stars have a few places around Cali. They are one of the best all stars teams. If you want to do a rec. Program I always suggest finding a football league near you. Since Rec cheer and football always co-inside with each other. I’m from IL. So I don’t know if they do this in California but if you find a rec team they can do one of 2 things either compete in 1 comp. and then do sideline cheer or just do sideline cheer. So you have those options if you didn’t want to put her in an all star program. As for the stigma between cheer and dance I definitely think it depended on which sport you where in because I did both comp cheer and comp dance. Both where amazing. But At my school you tried out for dance if you didn’t make cheer. Which I find kinda funny that it was the opposite for you

And Tommy and Big Caden, do they? Because they both always seem so calm and loving when they come over
Yeah probably, they’re siblings all siblings fight at some point. We only see 20-30 minutes of their day so I’d say they definitely fight sometimes
Probably not at the age where they do the silent treatment more so “I’ll tell mom or dad on you” but it’s super normal to fight. And most likely have had many bickering moments

If Kyson really wants to try competitive soccer, I would look for soccer camps over the summer either provided by leagues, churches, and sometimes colleges even have all day youth soccer camps which are really fun. You should also look into things that can help for soccer like speed and agility camps. Competitive soccer also normally requires more practice, more games that are farther away, and normally at least one overnight tournament per season.

I love your family and your new intro is awesome. I just feel that during your intro when we see Kaden and Kyson, and Caden, that we don’t see them long enough. I feel that when the other kids are being shown with their names, they are onscreen for longer. As a mom myself, I feel that my kids would notice something like that and it may make them feel sad. Perhaps they didn’t want to be onscreen longer and that’s okay too, but I wanted to mention it just in case.

I did a little cheer camp when I was Addies age. Not sure how my parents signed me up but it was a cheer camp with a high school in my area! Definitely search online and maybe Facebook to find something!❤️

You know what I was randomly thinking while watching this video? I was thinking that with the jesssfam sign on your wall, that doing a photo collage of all 7 kids and you and Chris, like all around the jesssfam sign. I hope I'm making sense lol. We have a big picture Frame on our living wall like right in the center of our main wall, then we have a collage of like 15-20 4x6 and 5x7 pics of me, my husband and our son. I have no clue where to sign up for cheerleading in the California area but it is really good for young cheerleaders to have a foundation in gymnastics to start their tumbling and flexibility. Keep up the good work Addelyn and Jess!!
