hi guys, today i list down 5 things that made no sense to me as i played the game. It is my opinion, it might be totally wrong. Comment down below what you think and what other vids you'd like to see :D (i do videos based on comments im a nolife).

Clara:has higher aggro value. has skill and buff that makes her more likely to be attacked. Has the most slapable face. Literally a counter attack character made to be attacked.

I'm legit 99% convinced Tingyun has Destruction level taunt value. She gets hit as often as my Dan Heng IL or even my Jingliu when I use her with them.
The way I understand it (unless I'm completely wrong) is that Jingyuan's Lightning Lord is more of a manifestation of power than an autonomous entity, which is why it can't act while Jingyuan is stunned. Numby IS an autonomous entity, with its own personality, and therefore can act on its own, and why they're called Topaz AND Numby.
Iirc lightning lord in lore is essentially a gift to jy from the reignbow arbiter (Lan) so it is an extension of himself/his powers

Oh btw adding onto this LL seems to be the gift from Lan to all generals on the luofu so it's more of like a hunt emanator blessing not just something that manifested (although jy for some reason isn't a hunt emanator despite being like among the top 5 most skilled warriors currently alive in the alliance) in jy due to Lan or smth
So technically speaking since it's a power that's succeeded from generation to generation it should grow less and less personal to each general and prolly still have the ability to act separately from the general when needed but it don't seem to work that way
So ig it's just tied to his spirit and path and personal to him for some reason...

Clara and Blade are what my idea of a "destruction" character should be. the limited Erudition characters and hunt characters are for the most part what they are told to be and do that job pretty well. now the question is... WHAT THE FUCK IS JINGLIU AND DHIL ??? i swear they are the definition of "lore accurate strength" lmao.
They're the type of who lean in Strength over survivability, But they do have some Defence, Like my jingliu having 4500 hp 🙂
And my IL having 40% effect res 🙂
If you look closely at the "subscribe for more" light cone there is sushang being crushed at the bottom so basically this is her alternative signature(a term I came up with and almost every character has one).
You should fight moc using the ghost hunters team from the recent 1.5 event (Mc, Guinaifen, Sushang, and Huohuo)
I wanna see a world tour of that team fr. MOC, Swarm disaster, and weekly bosses

You can actually get an achievement for rocking that team, nice little detail as it refers to Ghostbusters 😂
Destruction does have great survivability. If the enemies are dead, no one's gonna threaten your survival.
I'm.more.concerend about the fact that half of the erudition characters have abilities that don't target every enemy and instead do blast attacks(Serval, Himako, QQ)
LOL it make sense now, destroying the enemies so we dont get to die 😌✊But true though erudition like Serval doing blasts is pretty weird haha
The only thing destruction has about "survivability" Is just the bonus res from the trace
Nihility characters doing a better job than erudition by having blast and aoe kit (Guinaifen, Kafka, Welt)

It's to create different set ups. Himeko is designed around breaking to charage follow up, Serval does bonus atks to shocked enemies (so it's kinda to keep her under control as a gen 1 4 star), and QQ... is QQ.
I think celestial differentiator was made for yanqing or any character that increases their cr and have low cr to start. So for the first initial hit they do they can benefit from the added cr until they can buff themselves up for the rest of the fight.
Basically still useless because no one uses yanqing 💀

Jinyuan could be fixed with : when LL gains 10 stacks it gets to attack immediately.
For jing yuan I would say that the lightning lord has to be summon (from what I understand story wise) to whereas numby is a "separate entity" from topaz ( idk just a theory)
1:53 Ok but here me out. Bronya’s Cramage support scales off her own Cramage. This set is good since it gives her 16% for free thus making her support stronger. And she does have guaranteed crit normals from her traces so the differentiator set is basically useless
broken keel gives perma 10 cdmg to the party and she already has eff res in her traces, her buff would only give 3% more off celestial and only during ult uptime
Broken kneel do better just abit less cdmg but

That set was only useable at the beginning of the games spawn for support Bronya. After Broken Keel was released, it lost any value it had lol. The only scenario this set could be useable is for the zero cycle runs. And even then it's hard to utilize

No this is obviously a set for Jingliu. She gets 60% crit rate bonus for her first attack and then she gives gerself 50% crit rate! (JK still useless).

Yanqing is part of the top 1% strongest people of the luofu possibly the entire xianzhou alliance but we haven't seen the other ships his only problem is that he exclusively fights the top 0.1% strongest people he doesn't stand a chance against but I'll give him one thing he tries at least he truly does his best and we know he's probably going to be general one day maybe after fu xuan
What doesnt make sense is that Bronya didnt became an Emanator of Nihility yet based on her Story Arc.

I think the reason why lighting lord cant attack if jing yuan is stun or something while numby can is that jing yuan summon lightning lord and numby is a different living being than topaz
Well tbf Topaz and Numby are two different entities, Jung Yuan has to control lightning lord himself from what we see in cutscenes, so it makes sense for lightning lord to not be able to attack if Jing Yuan is stunned
Still in "Subscribe for more" lightcone, you can see Sushang underneath the stone plate, so it kinda makes sense? (7:00)
I did think of that, but there is a 4* LC swordplay, which features Sushang entirely, so it kinda makes more sense for the other one to be Guinaifen's signature xd
Some techniques break on entry, so maybe for farming where you're guaranteed instant kill everything on opening hit.
The lightning lord is a spirit conjured but Jing. Numby is an independent entity so there is no issue.
the way I looked at that one Yanqing Trace that boost Effect Res was hoyo saying to build him with the effect res Orb and Rope set, and I'm inclined to agree. My Bronya and the rest of the team love their little support Yanqing, he may get bullied in that team too but he's supporting, just like how he supports the general
One thing that don't make sense to me, and maybe this is a thing in genshin, but why do we have credit requirements on top of other material requirements? This counts for leveling characters, ascension, lightcones and traces. As one who want to get multiple characters up and ready, I find it frustrating that I have to split my focus in both farming materials and keep an eye on having enough credits. I much more prefer to use my credits on healing materials, recipes and synthesize materials. Don't know if this is just me.
Sometimes it feels like Celestial Differentiator is a set tailored to Yanqing, to give him the extra CR he'll need to crit in the first attack while he doesn't have Soulsync active, same reason why his signature LC has the same weird mechanic.
But it's still not a good enough excuse to make it that bad, also 120% CD is SO high to reach if you're not running a CD body most times so having such a trashy CR increase is just plain dumb.
I have celestial differentiator set on my Seele only because I have pieces with really good substat rolls. However, besides giving crit damage, it can be useful for her first ultie attack (if she has enough energy) to activate Herta's shop light cone effect

I feel like the celestial set was meant for Characters like yang jing or maybe jingliu, that buff their crit rate with their skill or similar. With celestial they gain CDmg to use with that Rate as well as crit rate for their first turn,where their buff isn't up yet.
But yes balancing wise it is a bit weak,as sets like the one with CRate and skill/basic damage provides similar damage buff that also applies on non crit hits.
Even for jingliu it suvk. Jingliu need to be on transcend state to deal ton of dmg and missing 20% elemental skill dmg bonus from rutilant is quite a bad idea. Guess it artifact purely for farming daily creep on map. Wher u one shot them in one turn. Using technique SW, this artifact on himeko proc on follow up then enemy low 50% herta followup.

Single most annoying thing I have encountered is that you have to teleport around to heal your team when farming (if not using an abundance character). When you farm something (with say a Fu Xuan as sustain) then your team will drop hp after every round.
It's really dumb that after like 2-3 rounds I gotta quit out of the menu, teleport to the next space anchor to heal up, teleport back and start the same run again, which is just a tedious and totally unnecessary process.
I feel like after every paid run (paid with trailblazer energy) your team should heal to full hp.
I can explain the reason for topaz and jing yuan follow ups. Numby it’s numby, it is a living creature that does what’s best for its owner, the lightning lord is a summon that jing yuan does, you can’t summon if you are unconscious or asleep, it requires you to be awake or conscious.

The topaz preservation lc actually features aventurine on the right side if you look closely and aventurine will be imaginary preservation character so i dont think its THAT absurd (im coping btw)
to jingyuan, i think why he's lightning lord won't attack if jingyuan is stun i think it's because he needs to summon it first before he attack. Meanwhile numby is a real living being even if topaz gets stunned he can still attack. (This is what i think)
i never even noticed the YQ trace that gives him eff res while soulsync is active😂😂 what the hell is the point of that if hes going to get hit and stunned anyway

Perhaps Celestial Differentiator would work on Yanqing? After all, his soul-steel buff needs a turn to become active, and you don't need much (if any) crit rate on him because of his self buffs. Probably not worth it because of some other sets (I haven't really looked into it, so idk), but that would be one use for it
I use the planar crit buff set for my Danheng and it works surprisingly well

The celestial differentiator is kinda good on JL just for the 1st effect.
What makes no sense to me is how it takes salvaging ten whole 5* relics to synthesize just one. Just for the synthesizing RNG to be beyond trash. I wouldn't mind the number if they gave more ways to receive the self-modeling resin just so we could at least cope with a main stat or something.
i'll assume that if a light cone has two or more people, one of them might have the same path as the lc. just like sushang in 'subscribe for more!' lc.
if you look closely, there's aventurine in 'trend of the universal market' lc. so he might be a preservation

As for Yanqing's Effect res is there so he cant become affected by anything for ONE TIME, That's the purpose of that thing, you cant just expect the enemies to ignore everyone or dont do a aoe debuff like kafka or something

Heres the tging i have to disagree about the differentiator set.My yanqing WAS trash (hes now less trash) but with differentoitor I had good crit on the first hit and yanqing's talent starts to make him less trash

That electric god is summoned whilst numby is a partner. Makes pretty good sense to me. I mean if we do compare both, numby will literally be by topaz side when dying and that god doesnt do that for jingyuan, also his ultimate literally shows that god is summoned.
Natasha can also take out a debuff from an ally through trace
LL is ancient spirit bound to a Jing Yuang(bet you watched Shaman King, what happens to spirit when shaman losing concentration? Yep) , while Numby is his own entity, also we all now warp trotters is far more powerful than we see them to be

I legit use the celestial diffrentiator on my blade and i have been fine and danty
Hunt: big single numbers
Erudition: many small numbers
Nihidity: debuf
Harmony: buff
Abundance: negative attack
Prevention: wall
Destruction: the ability to hit multiple targets or just one with extremely big numbers along with being able to heal themselves or kill themselves but also can kill the self’s while healing themselves or also killing every team mate you have or

Lest we forget that Tingyun is the Aeon of Preservation in disguise.
Destruction path can attack at most 3 enemies, at least with their skill or ultimate. Some passive does attack everyone, but most Destruction only attack at most 3 enemies. While erudition can attack every single enemy, means 5 enemies in their kit, either in ultimate or their skill, or their passive.
the first one is made for that first turn for yanqing
I use Celestial Differentiator on just Bronya, purely because of the Crit DMG boost. And while I don't have her E4 but in theory it would help with the Follow-up too.
Broken Keel would give your team more crit Damage that Bronya with the differentiator. Unless your broken keel has good crit damage rolls

The difference is minimal (Celestial has 16% while Keel gives 10%) and it boils down to substats at that point.
Crit rate on fuxuan traces is like wtf...
My counter to the topaz argument is that Numby is a living being and LL is Jing Yuan’s Summon

What never really made sense to me is how Y’know how we have 7 5*s on the standard banner? And, 7 types, as well as 7 paths. So, okay, each character should get one path and one type? NOOOO. Gepard and Yanqing both have an ice element, and quantum isn’t on the standard banner.
Bro Tingyun has her own agro value
Bailu hits with her tail, so it's seems logical that basic attack scale is ATK, and Gepard seems logic this way.
Now HP scaleers:
Linx is simplest - she uses her weight to deal as much damage as possible with her pickaxe.
Let's see Fu Xuan I can explain her HP scaling, that she uses her "life energy" to attack.. maybe.. I can assume...
Ok, next Huo Huo. This will be a little more interesting. I can assume that when *Tail* forces her to attack, her "swinging attacks" uses a little bit of her weight to deal at least some damage or as heliobus, he uses some of her actual life energy to control her.
Team idea
Use Blade, Jingliu, Qingqiu and whatever other character you want in the last slot.
All can have enhanced normal attack/skill and cannot gain SP when enhanced.
Funfact- that sett is for Yanqing. That's his best because his first hit is so low, it literally doesn't crit. This takes care of it, and then after activating his passive ability his crit rate is sky rocketing, not needing anything else. On him you should only build crit damage either way, and this sett is the perfect sett for his shortcomings too.
Why clara isn’t called clara and svarog but topaz and numby is
Again I managed to contain 3000/2500+1000 DEF/ATK on Gepard and crit ratio be looking like 70\140 pretty good right? Hehe 🤧
Why Arlan's splash art has peppy in it yet hes nowhere to be seen when we're playing as him 😡 i mean look at Topaz she has numby at her side all the time 😑
Maybe we can unlock a Peppy mode with Arlan eventually and make him actually SS tier💀

The path system is fine imo (for the most part). I'm not gonna talk on supports since i honestly think all supportive units (offensive and defensive alike) have been perfectly fitting in their roles. It's just that some have a niche on top of their main supportive class. So that leaves dps. The only true outliers are DHIL, jingliu, and seele. Cause all 3 are competing with other dps classes in their roles while still being best in slot in their own respective archetype. All other limited dps are fitting in their role. Jy, argenti suck in single target for the most part. Kafka is dot queen but not a crit hypercarry. Blade is the only limited destruction that follow the rules of the path. And topaz while having the niche of supporting foa units, she's still a single target carry through and through. The path system itself isn't an issue it's some outlier units that are imo.
Why is the trailblazer one of the best early game damage dealers and also mid game tanks. How does that work

Since Yanqing alway start the battle with almost to 0 crit rate, the 60 crit rate is there for his first attack
After thay, he already got the crit rate buff from his passive
we already got the rutilant, literally every DPS use this now(except FuA or ult-based lile argenti)

1. celestial diff just needs a rework
2. aggro isn't just based on taunt value, lower health = higher aggro. try giving tingyun an hp% orb and she'd get hit less
3. eh destruction is fine, jingliu is just overtuned, IL needs high investment.
4. chonky oinky deals less damage than jy and is an independent unit while LL is a manifestation, jy is stunned, he can't manifest LL
5. i gen think they just realized late that letting hp scalers basic atk scale with atk is dumb so they fixed it too late

Here is one you missed: Sushang’s Sword Stance proc is a fixed percentage. Even if she uses her technique or ult, that base percentage never increases, her ult just gives her an extra proc *attempt*. If her traces/eidolons/ult gave her a higher percentage for her Sword Stance to happen (even if they give it to her Technique), she would be able to make up for her inconsistent damage. I honestly think Qingque is more consistent than Sushang (Botha at E6) because of this.
TLDR: plz buff Sushang’s Sword Stance proc Hoyo
I love my little Huohuo I will never pull for another abundance.
I think Jing yuan's stuff make sense at least lore wise, his Lightning lord is his power right, it follow his movement, just see the cutscene, while Numby is a different entity than Topaz thus can still move even if Topaz is stunned. Lorewise it makes sense, gameplay wise it so bad.
I'm more interested in why he used the Celestial Differentiator on Kafka...

I dont really like jing yuan i dont even pull him but i think jing yuan lightning lord cannot attack when jing yuan is stun make sense, cause he is the one that control it, unlike numby have its own mind to move and topaz must be trained numby to attack what ever she and her teamates attack so i think it make sense probably

The gimmick the characters have now, like it's feels weird for these characters
Topaz, a hunt specialize to dealing HIGH DAMAGE, MAIN DAMAGE, or something like thay.... Use as support(main dps topaz still work but you get what i mean)
Hanya a harmony, specialize at BUFFING your teams... Debuff an enemies with skill
Like even if i comparw her to lupcha or fuxu, both still make sense
Fuxuan stil work as preservation and her cr is basically a bonus
Meanwhile luocha.... His sht literally comes from eidolon, and i never count eidolon as MAIN kit but hanya his "buff" Literally comes from her marking which is debuff
Oh and characters that actively(like from talent or skill etc)give dot can be put on this list but not that much problem for me
Btw i want to put huohuo but like atleast her main focus is not from her ult even though everyone think different (they considered her heal as bonus instead)
Compare destruction, they still has bonus effect res so it's still count as "survivability", but still i hope they make an actual destruction or change the description to something like more sacrifice thing I mean we have blade with her health, IL with 3 sp, JL sucking her teams health
And another reason is that it's a DPS role so there might be a problem around making their kit
But hey it's still early year we might be get even more crazier
I think bailu has too little base speed considering how fast she canonically runs in the heliobi event......
They should honestly just change the description of destruction of instead of "more survivability" it should be "High risk, High reward"
Since AoE Debuffer exists (Looking at you fishes), I think that eff res is relevant enough
Jingyuan. Simple Really, in the lore lightning lord tied to jingyuan itself or more like his summon really while numby is dumpy... It is it own entity not tied to topaz.
I don't know that anyone notices this that why certain characters don't do well against enemies despite each of them follows their specific paths like an example why Sushang does no damage despite being a hunt character that were supposed to do massive damage or even Herta who can't even do any aoe damage despite being a erudition character
Well, most sushang damage comes from breaking enemies and attacking a weakness broken enemies. So, if your didn't deal any damage, it might be because you play her wrong
About herta, give her decent equipment and she'll become a good farmer. Her damage comes from her FuA, so if you expect she demolish enemies by using skill or ultimate then you might play her wrong
