Due to this video, I purchased this set up. I have an '08 Road King Classic. My headlight burnt out and I wanted to upgrade. That same day you put out this video. I went ahead and ordered them and got them in two days. Mine were plug and play. Man the difference these make compaired to the original lighting. Thank you for the videos. Keep it up man
Those butt connectors actually have a shrink wrap type insulation on them. Heat 'em up and they'll seal your connections right up 👍 I love the ones I have. Plenty bright!
I did the hogzworkz leds for my 98 roadking has the same setup as those and made a tremendous difference. Tip is to aim ur passing lights a little bit to the left and right and it really helps light up the ditch and tree lines for any animals that may run out in front of u👍. I paid 220.00 for my kit fyi...
Good move ! Those of us who haven't done light upgrades sure have been thinking about it . Lights and Brakes are number one most important for a safer ride . Stay safe .
Got the sunpie daymaker (same as harleys daymaker) on all my hd's. Such a difference i can see so well during my 5am commute. Once you put those daymakers in you wont wanna go back to halogen. ( yours have same patern as the daymaker)
I Love mine. The group I ride with make me lead at night. I even light up the signs during the day on a sunny day. Nice video I did change the wiring with a kit so my passing lamps stay on with the high beam allows me to turn them on and off at the switch on the dash.
I have tried the led headlight what I don't like is the highbeams. I have yet to try one that throws a beam higher and farther down the road like the old bulb style. The ones I tried had a hell of a lot better low beam but switching to high beam was just like blinking your eyes and nothing really changing in the beam pattern. If this does please include it in your review thanks.
Im sure they are soooo much brighter and safer. I have been contemplating putting some in my old heritage. I just can't get used to the non-classic look yet.. if they made some that looked like the old tri bar headlight I'd be all over it
That is a BIG DIFFERENCE! Man it is nice when you can see where you are going. Great job your camera woman did tell her to bill you for her work. All the best and Ride Safe
I have a single headlamp on my 2006 Fat Boy. I bought a led replacement light that is just a 3-sided little stick light and it also works great. Led is awesome! The first one I bought was for my Sportster and the 2nd one was basically the same light. Cheap too.
After I did a daymaker headlight on my sporty I will never go back. The way they light up a perfect bowl shape across the road. I bought a amazon one for the sporty because I wanted to keep the HD one for my Dyna and it still about as bright as the HD one.
I think you did a good job. For me personally, I always walk up to the Harley counter at the dealer. And have them instal it. That way it's the best light. And they touched it last. But to each their own. Having proper lighting is key.
Excellent install vid ! May be worth mentioning, as STS stated, higher wattage LED create more heat. Change OEM plug to ceramic for added heat protection to wiring. RIDE EZ DAN YOUNG
I changed to these on my 04 Road King after getting them for Christmas present. Mine are the chrome version and all 3 had comparable plugs. Funny thing I haven’t even ridden at night to try them but I know they’ll be a great upgrade!
I converted my 73 XLCH to all LED and I had to replace the flasher unit with one that had a resister built in and it is adjustable to increase or decrease resistance for the signals. I converted my FLSTF to all LED including the signals and I put in a special resister from J&P cycles. I converted to LED to save electricity especially on the Ironhead.
Did both my Ultras as soon as I got them. Also did the LED turn signals front and rear and put the module in that tried Turned my rear turn signals into running lights/ turn signals
Looks like the new lights work real good. I had a guy stop me and ask about the lights on my Harley. I never gave the lights much thought until that guy.
I made this upgrade to my '09 electra glide classic a few months ago, well worth it. You'll also notice the LED's are much easier on the charging system than the halogen lamps...
Got them on my 93 90th Edition Classic luv them great for country riding . Luv the Tramp from Barry Nantais windsor Ontario Canada great job . Keep making videos we luv ya.
I did the same upgrade to my Heritage Classic and it doubled the light. Were up in the mountains and summer night rides are dangerous up here with Deer wondering along the roadway and jumping out. You probably have the same thig there. It's a safety issue...Good video
when you do your update in a few weeks, can you show the difference between low and high beams please, just curious what the high beam pattern is like.
I really enjoy your stuff, and yes, what a HUGE difference in your visual, in order to be as safe as possible we all need great lights, front and back. Stay safe my brother & keep 2 on the ground!
That was a great improvement over the front of the bike, cleaned it up with the dark background of lights, XPCTD really did there home work on plug-n-play for the do it yourself project, Think😂 Bob Vella sponsor a garage build🤷.
As Blackhorse said.i bought the jumper harness so I can run passing lamps with high Beam on. Huge difference from the stock lights. Even daytime people can see you coming. Enjoy. Great video
nice I definately need an upgrade too, stock head light on 2021 flht dont light up the road for shit i was impressed with big difference these made for you
I installed the Ciro-3D Vision-X on my 2020 SGS, alls I could say is WoW, it also makes ya stand out during daylight hrs. Did all the turn signals also, (LED)
Well done, Corey. Ain't nothing worse than a headlight which does not light up bright enough. I once used to have a Suzuki DR 750Big. U know, a huge single cylinder adventure bike from the 80ies. The bike was great and able to take real punishment, but its headlight was not even a bad joke. Sometimes had the impression that if I had put a candle in there it might have even been better. So, weak headlights are a pain in the ass for sure. Great u found a better one for your E-glide. It suits it well, I gotta say👍. Liebe Grüße aus Graz, Oesterreich. Christoph
My 03 cvo road king came with led lights similar to those....thingsbare brighter than lights on my silverado....definitely a worthy upgrade for someone with stock lights
so happy for you bro, that frosty light you had was worrying me some. LED lighting is the way to go for sure. on the cheapo versions the usual suspects are fitment issues and sealing issues. usually more in humid places, so if you skate past the humid issues you should be golden. Another benefit of running LED lighting is a greatly reduced electrical draw on your charging system. I usually replace all the regular lighting on my bikes to have all led's. Really happy you got the lights changed and the cost was unbeatable :-)
Those are critter melters! What an improvement, I've got one of the same brand I need to get mounted on my Shadow Sabre. Now I know what to expect, nice!
I bought a little jumper wire from HD that lets the two side lights be on when the high beam is on, as well as the low beam. You can still still turn the driving lights off if you want, but why would ya want to?
Just ordered a t-shirt, but as for the lights I've been on the fence myself about them. Though I need to do something as I find myself adding more and more lights to the bike just to remove them a few days later. Can't wait to see what you say in about 6 weeks.
I put RRI led lights in my Nightrain and man. the low beam lights up all 3 lanes of the highway . but if you do the turn signals on the older bikes you need to get a load equalizer so they don't hyper flash.
Wow, unbelievable! I had a similar experience with my new bike. Was used to shitty halogen for 20 years (it was not great from the getgo). Last year, I upgraded to a new bike and thus LEDs...well, yes, quite the difference.
Wow, that is very Cool! Now with the new lighting system, your bike looks like the Son of Darth Vader! Keep up the good work Amigo and say hello to your pretty Missus.
I would really like to see what it looks like in a corner. My ultra limited came with the DayMaker and I hate it because it has a hard cut off line and when leaned over in a corner it gets dark in the direction you are going.
Hey Dude , God bless ya for the effort but ... Within the cutters you used is a feature on the inward handle side , ie. the half round looking portion of the tool is a crimper to crimp those fasteners with . then use a lighter and meltish the plastic without burning it . it should shrink if its the good stuff . If you start having problems it will be because those plier joints , they work in a pinch but a better connection is needed for the long haul . Peace Brother . Your a blessing
Like those lights, ordering a set for my 06 Deluxe and if I really like them I’ll get a set for my 01 Electra, at 60 I enjoy your channel and keeping it real, good job keep it up.
I just bought some off ebay for 58$ they weren't what I'd call plug and play but very bright.they were just labeled 80watt LEDs I ride alot at night and its pardon the pun day and night.
I ride a white 06 road king police with lots of chrome and I like the way those black led lights look, I just can't make up my mind as to order a black or chrome light set. 🤔
LOVE the light, Tramp!! I had wanted to put an LED headlamp on my bike awhile back but the shop told me it would pull too much juice and run my Streetglide down. Let me know if you have any trouble with that, please. And yes!! She's a beauty!! Just pack her up and I'll send you the shipping fee!!! LOL (Now you prob won't let me come and visit ya, tho!!)
The other thing you could’ve done other than cut those passing light connectors off and splice them together was just attach spade connectors to the new passing lights adapter wires and then simply plug them together with the factory plugs for the passing lights. Although you’ll probably never do it, you can return everything to factory original
Installed some on my 01Roadking a few months ago, had the same reaction as you when I turned them on that night, could not be more happier.
Rigjt on, man.
Due to this video, I purchased this set up. I have an '08 Road King Classic. My headlight burnt out and I wanted to upgrade. That same day you put out this video. Glad this helped, man!
Those butt connectors actually have a shrink wrap type insulation on them. Heat 'em up and they'll seal your connections right up 👍

I did the hogzworkz leds for my 98 roadking has the same setup as those and made a tremendous difference. My 14 has the same set up and it is truly night and day from the old style. Makes night riding so much better on those dark country roads.
Sure does!
Since these are LEDs do you need to install a resistor so your battery dont die? Or just plug and play?
Good move ! Those of us who haven't done light upgrades sure have been thinking about it .
Lights and Brakes are number one most important for a safer ride . Stay safe .

If it weren't for the guy riding behind me into Tampa with the daymaker headlight, I wouldn't have been able to see much. That's what got me thinking.
I have tried the led headlight what I don't like is the highbeams. I have yet to try one that throws a beam higher and farther down the road like the old bulb style. That’s an upgrade for sure! Congratulations
That's a good looking light set, looks awesome on the bike!
Sure does, man. Looks like a UFO at night.
Nice job

Look at JW speaker, they have a classic looking model.

LED lights are amazing! Use next to no juice and give twice as much light! A must have IMO for bikes that get used :)
Right on, Paul. I'm thinking of doing the same to the softail.
Did both my Ultras as soon as I got them. Also did the LED turn signals front and rear and put the module in that tried
Turned my rear turn signals into running lights/ turn signals

On your 09 what holds the top of the factory trim ring on, with only the bottom screw the top of the trim ring just bounces around on mine.
@@ChewinFat it was a little looser than stock but it wasn’t that loose that bounced around.
I just grabbed a set for my Road King. Can’t wait to get them installed and try them out. Great video. Thank you Sir. God bless.
Same led lights as I put on my 2013 ultra classic. Fit great and only took 30 minutes to put in. Awesome lights. Plug and play.
Great deal
Looks great Corey! I'm sure you'll enjoy the light level. Cheers! cb
Awesome 👍,,Walk and Ride in the Light.. Massive Improvement.
I thought you might like those lights!! Good video, looked pretty easy to install. Be good and be safe!!
Got them on my 93 90th Edition Classic luv them great for country riding . Luv the Tramp from Barry Nantais windsor Ontario Canada great job . Keep making videos we luv ya.
Thanks, man. 🙂
I have a 93 Heritage and was wondering if they would work, you just answered that question. Thanks
I just received exact same for my 2012 flhtc this morning installed OMG what an upgrade went out tonight at dark unbelievable
Pretty cool, huh? Made it easier to spot the deer at night while we were in the Ozarks last April.
Paid $119 dollars for mine off Amazon. Great product, very easy to install.
Those light look 1000% better they are really a nice-looking Set of Lights

I run them on my bike and love them 👍👍🇨🇱 I been running them for a few years now and they are still as good as the day I got them...
when you do your update in a few weeks, can you show the difference between low and high beams please, just curious what the high beam pattern is like.
channel locks!!! best wire crimp ever! awesome video, Saddle Tramp.
Very impersive. Glad you took that on, it is also knowing you have people who care. Take care and keep safe on the road.
Excellent video I have an 87 heritage does it have the 3way plug or H4? I think it is called
Wow. They work great. I will be getting some. Wow. That company knows how to market.

i need to get one myself, not happy about having to lift the tank to install it tho lol
Greg where did u buy jumper hardness, from the HD dealer?

Dont forget to readjust your headlights as the LED's throw out a different pattern on light compared to OEM headlight
hey the lights look great i bet they will light up the road for sure
