Nice info John, It might be nice to do a video on adjusting. Too many oboe players are afraid to do anything with the adjustments.....HAS to be a priority .. no technicians on stage. A basic knowledge on using a test feeler and what screw adjust what key/combo is a life saver., as is using vacuum to locate a leak area.
about that Pellon Fusible Interfacing, Doesn't that leave a sticky substance on the pads. My mother used to use is for making clothes and it stuck on fabric when she ironed it. Ok I'm not going to iron my oboe, but it makes me think there is something sticky in there.
