Gosh the producers and lyricist must have been be too busy taking over Jules Dassan's in juggling down more Ouzo so they forgot the time...lol why was Jayne Meadows look so beautiful and Steve Allen also looks so stellar and always a gentleman miss them both
He's on a bus coming from Yugoslavia!? That comment was probably the reason his Oscar got lost somewhere in Yugoslavia ;) Manos Hadjidakis was a kind child, will never be forgotten

Although it's one of his well known songs and even the hymn of Piraeus, he didn't love it at all! On the contrary he hate it so much because of the fact that he was forced to write it in only one week!!! In my opinion he was one of the most talented greek composers and he has effected the new ones too... You should check his work! So many wonderful songs... Greetings from Greece 😊

Vicky Pap wow that's hard to believe..But maybe he didn't have enough time to put better lyrics down and he end up writting the lyrics about a lady of the night and her nightly rumps for looking for John's.. that's what I can get towards the end of the song.. does anybody have the exact English translation of this song Greek.
