I used to think the whole maturation argument was totally bogus. Having owned a bottle of Cedrat Boise for a year I’m blown away with how much this has changed. It is so rich now that I can’t wear it is in heat. It’s a completely different fragrance. Absolutely fantastic and one for life for me.
The first time I smelled this, it gave me headaches, I really though I wasted my money. But then I tried it again a week later and I was surprised of how good it is. On my skin at least the smoky aspect is very prominent. Thanks Chad.

Just love the opening and mid notes. It’s crazy how I get subtle woody and leathery notes from it apart from the dominating lemony and fruity notes. Smells really really nice to me at least.

I just got it today and i love the opening, its sooo good but being the first fragrance that i have with leather it might take me some time to get used to as it seems a little to strong.
That's understandable. I feel like the leather in this is well balanced, so you will get used to it quickly. Im not the biggest leather fan myself, but i did not get bothered by it here 😁
I was really disappointed when I first tried my new bottle of cedrat Boise. Anyhow, I stored it with my other citrus perfumes as I brought out the Winter fragrances. As Spring is approaching I recently wore CB as my scent of the day. Well, what a difference in performance! Defo a keeper now it has decent longevity. Defo let your bottle macerate.
Great review. Definitely agree, nothing like Aventus. I have both, & I’d personally reach for Creed before this. For me, I get a 🍋 dominant scent. I picture me snacking on a piece of lemon cake, or pastry.

Nah dont belive that reformulation rumor. Its just new bottle style and they are producing the fragrances quicker so they need a little time to "macerate" Its a bit feminine leaning if you are okay with that
sweet black currant , undertoned lemon and cedar present but thats it high class granpa smell in a way, its good but not great aventus way better. also nothing like aventus at all at all
When it comes to performance I think it has a lot to do with the better atomiser. With the crappy old bottles you got coughed on a small area, and when you smell there of course it's stronger because there's a ton of oil on a single spot. And it lasts because it cannot evaporate. With the pressurized atomiser you get a very even spread on a larger area with the same amount of oil. While it may seem that on the skin it's weaker, it can project in the air this way much better. You know, where it's supposed to be .
Fantastic video, but I don't believe that "maceration" is a real phenomenon with fragrances. The 2022 magnetic-cap batch that I have definitely performs worse. It's pretty bad, actually. That being said, I actually think it's a better-blended fragrance. So there are some pros and some cons with this one, IMO.

It's just the performance that I'd describe as below-average and certainly worse than in previous batches. But, I'm always open to having my mind changed, and I don't plan on selling the bottle. Definitely, they are different. It's in the style of aventus but you are right. And not all scents are for everyone. I understand if you don't like it 😁
I agree, I get it too. In my case I feel it dries my throat, I swear to God. Although I l'm spraying this, it feels like I'm drinking it, can't reality explain it. Every single time I, spray this I get something quite synthetic that I find annoying, but I ignore it for the first 30 min and then I get to enjoy it.

After trying the Cedrat Boise and Aventus back to back, I can say that Cedrat Boise is no clone of the Aventus because it is more imposing than the Aventus. The one I received was also a magnetic cap.
i find this one very similar to Terre D'Hermes edt! im only choosing one of them so im at crossroads now. TDH seem to have weak longevity on my skin tho

I've watched all the reviewers with similar taste as mine on this but never really ( I NEED THIS) fragrance... That being said ,last night I got a discount code for $65. I picked one up from JS for a dumb reach as I didn't need a beast mode and preferred fresh over intence for my preference.. And the price was good !!!
This one is fresher and more seasonally versatile. The intense is darker with heavier oud and leather. I haven't sat with it long enough to notice any other differences in terms of performance yet, though

Check Colognedecanted. He is a fellow content creator that decants out of canada. Myself i usually just buy the full bottles blindly, which i would not recommend
After the first half hour to 45 minutes it does smell creed aventus , but, softter and with a little twist. Take quite a while to go through the dry down projections. But worth its price for sure.
@@ChadSecrets I just sprayed it on my forearm almost 2 hours ago and at least to me it starts out a softer aventus. It's starting to shift through it's dry downs now so I'll wait and see what it morphs into. But definitely a high quality frag for sure.
Do not buy!!! One of the biggest disappointments I have experienced. If I had to describe the contents of the bottle in one word, I would choose the word: nothing!! And this is nothing very expensive...
I got my mancera yesterday, december 21 batch I tested some testers from 23 It lasts like 5,6 hours on my hand, and even 12h later I can smell it When i spray it on my shirt, i feel it projecting for 4 hours
I finally found good decant of Cedrat Boise after previously got low performance ones. I like the freshness and uplifting scents. I also bought decant of the CB Intense, but I think I got bad decant since it gave low performance. Or maybe got nose blind. Which one do you prefer, CB or CB Intense?
This gave me polo green vibes ngl wonderful opening but I did not enjoy the drydown very ashtray like I’m gonna let it macerate for a week or two and decide if I want to return it. (Costco 90 day return policy babyyyyy)
@@ChadSecrets hey chad ik its only been a day but my bottle of cedrat boise has already lost that prominent smokiness and I get a lot more vanilla out of it to me it smells like polo green’s spiciness mixed with jpg le male elixirs’s honey tobacco note I can’t really differentiate notes that much but the smell still definitely has that mature vibe to it but now has this playfulness of a young man. One spray on my left wrist in the morning at 9am i was able to smell the sweet woodiness throughout the day and its 6pm as of right now still going strong. I’m exited to see what its like after next week.
I just bought my cedrat boise,2023 batch it's only been 2 days since I used it, projection and longevity is above average 4-5hours only do you think i want to sit it for a couple months to perform?
@ravengalang490 In my experience, the juice color will get darker, and performance will improve. Let it sit a bit, but just enjoy it and feel it improve over time!
I got two crew cap bottles of the Red Tobacco, but I don't know if they are early or late versions of the screw caps, as I assume there are different batches made before they changed to the magnetic cap. I have heard rumours the 2019 bottles had gotten toned down a little, and the magnetic caps came sometimes in 2020. Sometimes a reformulation can be good and sometimes bad and even really bad, making them unrecognisable -- in which they should NOT call it by the same name !
Completely agree. My red tobacco still very potent. I may do a video comparing them in future just to make sure. Sometimes fragrances are left unrecognizable by reformulation left smelling like a cheap rack store clone of the original. It's unfortunate
I brought Red tobacco 3-4months ago and received one with screw cap. It was not that strong for first few days. I left in the shelf few weeks and got it macerated. Oh man…it is nuclear now 🔥

I have the intense version of it and I have an question about it. There’s a bunch of sediment stuff in it and I know that may be normal with it being a parfum, but is it normal that it all settles down at the bottom of the fragrance?
It’s pronounced Cedrat Boy Zee. I bought a full bottle last year. Loved it for a month until it started making me nauseous. It would be great if not for the heavy handed leather. The dry down becomes way too leathery.

The smoky aspect is what keeps me wearing it…if this wasn’t smoky it would be too feminine for me personally.

Over time, mine has changed to less lemon smell. It gets richer smelling

It doesn't really need to macerate at all. It will just continually get stronger and richer. 2 weeks should be enough, though!

I've watched all the reviewers with similar taste as mine on this but never really ( I NEED THIS) fragrance... That being said ,last night I got a discount code for $65. I picked one up from JS for a dumb reach as I didn't need a beast mode and preferred fresh over intence for my preference.. And the price was good !!!

How does this compare to the intense version
This one is fresher and more seasonally versatile. The intense is darker with heavier oud and leather. I haven't sat with it long enough to notice any other differences in terms of performance yet, though

Do you buy full bottles all the time or do you get samples? Shipping costs from US sites on samples just kills me. Trying to find a Canadian decanter for cedrat Boise has been tough.
Check Colognedecanted. He is a fellow content creator that decants out of canada. Myself i usually just buy the full bottles blindly, which i would not recommend

the smokiness in the later drydown made this fragrance for me. i love it, its so comforting.

After the first half hour to 45 minutes it does smell creed aventus , but, softter and with a little twist. Take quite a while to go through the dry down projections. But worth its price for sure.
Yeah, i personally dont get that but it's all subjective 🤷♂️
@@ChadSecrets I just sprayed it on my forearm almost 2 hours ago and at least to me it starts out a softer aventus. It's starting to shift through it's dry downs now so I'll wait and see what it morphs into. But definitely a high quality frag for sure.

Mine got stronger after even a month. The notes almost shifted around. And it got stronger
not maturate..macerate..blending with a bit of air space in bottle created by using it..

It lasts like 5,6 hours on my hand, and even 12h later I can smell it
When i spray it on my shirt, i feel it projecting for 4 hours
Its a very good fragrance i like it a lot
I finally found good decant of Cedrat Boise after previously got low performance ones.
I like the freshness and uplifting scents.
I also bought decant of the CB Intense, but I think I got bad decant since it gave low performance. Or maybe got nose blind.
Which one do you prefer, CB or CB Intense?
I need ti spend more time with the CB intense. I havent compared them together yet but right now i prefer the original
This gave me polo green vibes ngl wonderful opening but I did not enjoy the drydown very ashtray like I’m gonna let it macerate for a week or two and decide if I want to return it. (Costco 90 day return policy babyyyyy)

@@ChadSecrets hey chad ik its only been a day but my bottle of cedrat boise has already lost that prominent smokiness and I get a lot more vanilla out of it to me it smells like polo green’s spiciness mixed with jpg le male elixirs’s honey tobacco note I can’t really differentiate notes that much but the smell still definitely has that mature vibe to it but now has this playfulness of a young man. One spray on my left wrist in the morning at 9am i was able to smell the sweet woodiness throughout the day and its 6pm as of right now still going strong. I’m exited to see what its like after next week.
And that's the interesting thing about fragrances. Everyone will perceive them differently. That sounds like pretty good longevity to me!

I just bought my cedrat boise,2023 batch it's only been 2 days since I used it, projection and longevity is above average 4-5hours only do you think i want to sit it for a couple months to perform?
@ravengalang490 In my experience, the juice color will get darker, and performance will improve. Let it sit a bit, but just enjoy it and feel it improve over time!

I got two crew cap bottles of the Red Tobacco, but I don't know if they are early or late versions of the screw caps, as I assume there are different batches made before they changed to the magnetic cap. I have heard rumours the 2019 bottles had gotten toned down a little, and the magnetic caps came sometimes in 2020. Sometimes a reformulation can be good and sometimes bad and even really bad, making them unrecognisable -- in which they should NOT call it by the same name !
Completely agree. My red tobacco still very potent. I may do a video comparing them in future just to make sure. Sometimes fragrances are left unrecognizable by reformulation left smelling like a cheap rack store clone of the original. It's unfortunate
I brought Red tobacco 3-4months ago and received one with screw cap. It was not that strong for first few days. I left in the shelf few weeks and got it macerated. Oh man…it is nuclear now 🔥

I have the intense version of it and I have an question about it. There’s a bunch of sediment stuff in it and I know that may be normal with it being a parfum, but is it normal that it all settles down at the bottom of the fragrance?
I can not speak for the intense. But I know fragrances that have high concentrations that is possible at the bottom!

It’s pronounced Cedrat Boy Zee. I bought a full bottle last year. Loved it for a month until it started making me nauseous. It would be great if not for the heavy handed leather. The dry down becomes way too leathery.
It all comes down to the person wearing it, i guess. I found it very nice! I still have yet to find a scent that makes me nauseous, though
