Just purchased this at Saks here on 5th Avenue- NY. The only common note with the original is the citrus. Not at all a carbon copy of the OG. Intense also seems perfect for all seasons, except high humidity. Weather in NY is getting warmer with cool nights, and Intense Boise is universal for most temperatures. Very adaptable scent.
Just got mine after a very tedious process. I ordered from their EU website, had it delivered to UK then had it delivered again to Middle East. I like the intense version more. It’s stronger, the fruitiness in the opening stays longer than the OG and the dry down is definitely woodier. Mancera is a very attainable niche house for me and I love every fragrance I blind bought from them.
I'm about to blind buy Intense Cedrat Boise as well. The online retailer I will be purchasing from is in another country which is about 200 miles (or 350km) from where I live. I've used this online retailer before so I am confident they will deliver just like they did in the past.
Wow. I’m wearing the OG on one arm and the INTENSE on the other. I also have them both on scent strips. This is such an accurate descriptive review. Initially I couldn’t tell a difference but as they’ve dried down and I’ve listen to Sebastian’s review while smelling-- his review is absolutely on point.
I’ve blind buy cedrat original due to the hype around it , and i’am not a big fan of it , but the description that you gave for this one looks like a version that i could like , but this time no blind buy haha
Took me a while for it to grow on me! Give it a chance. It's my only interest of the house. But do give it a chance! Perhaps smelling Hacivat or Creed could help put Cedrat in perspective.
I enjoy, very much, "Aventus"-style fragrances. I haven't tried either of those two Mancera fragrances, but I'd certainly like to try them. I own and enjoy: Nishane "Hacivat", Mont Blanc "Explorer", and Armaf "C.D.N.I.M.".
@@holygrapie "Hacivat" might have been reformulated, but it still smells good. If one were to buy it now, they might end up with a very potent batch or they might end up with a batch which is not as strong as another one. You should sample "Hacivat".
Looking forward to getting this, the original is one of very few in my entire collection where i have had multiple people asking what it was to buy it! Great video
I just bought and got my ICB from one of niche fragrances boutique in Australia. I wonder😢, when I spray, I smell nothing. Even over 5 sprays on my skin. The only thing I got is sticky and oily on my skin. Very bad.
I have the original, but I was excited to try this one. The first one just doesn't last for me. Only thing is I have so much left that getting this new version probably doesn't make sense until I finish the original.
That vanilla note on the original was just too overpowering. I'm glad you said it's less w/ the Intense - I'll definitely have to get a sample first of this one for sure though, just in case!
Thanks Brutha , I really love Cedrat Boise I put a big dent in it last Summer and look forward to grabbing it when it comes down a bit .. I really like the idea of Oud in it ! Cheers 😎
Depends on what you want the fragrance for. I found that in my collection I had too many cool/cold weather options and only a couple that really work for the summer. Those two, like Cedrat Boise, are really year rounders that I choose to wear in warm weather. Intense Cedrat Boise is too potent to wear in the summer. Start sweating, and you are going to choke people out.
I’m wearing the intense today and I don’t think this will be as popular w/the general population or younger folks, it’s not mass appealing. However I think fragrance enthusiasts will like it more. It’s the Cedrat Boise for enthusiasts.
Interesting review, another UA-camr put out the same fragrance review today and basically said the opposite to what you said. He said, pineapple, more fruit and less woods. You mentioned no pineapple less fruit and more woods. I guess that's why fragrance is art. Each person can perceive it differently. Great review, I have the OG and I'm not quite sure yet about purchasing the new one. I love, love, love the OG.
The only Mancera that I've had the opportunity to smell is Sicily which is wonderful, at least in the opening. I wish there was a boutique in my city that featured the collection but alas, nowhere around here has them and I'm reluctant to blind buy them.
No this is soft. I find both Cedrat Boise to be softer than Hacivat. But then again noses are different. I guess I can see the ICB does a little more than CB! :)
Thanks for the quick reply Hacivat is a great fragrance as I bought it for the fragrance that I will use for my upcoming wedding based on your reviews. I'm a fan of your rivews, keep up the great work.
Hi Sebastian is this man's or unisex i have never owned a fragrance ftom the house i have ordered this new one that you reviewed i used your link please let me know if its feminine enough i don't mind unisex as long as they not too masculine thankyou for you reviews on fragrance i enjoy your videos 😊
I am a BIG fan of original and just bought a backup bottle and its performance is a BIG disappointment compared to my older bottle year 2019, the new is 11/2021..any thoughts on that??
I don't like the original, the opening is great but on my skin that dies after 5min and it turns way too sweet and it reminds me of Axe Africa. sweet, fruity and spicy on my skin. Kind of cheap smell
I’m glad to hear that people actually like the intense. I blind bought it, and I swear, it smells like lemon pine sol to me :(… So much so, that I haven’t worn it since I received it in the mail more than a week ago. Maybe it gets better in the dry down? Maybe the original is better….
I'm looking forward to this very much. Original CB has become kinda my signature warmer weather scent. Unfortunately, it's still not available anywhere in Czech Republic.
@@ianokay Maybe around 50 bottles, excluding back-ups, few niche, mostly the heavy hitters - Cedrat Boise, Red Tobacco, Layton, Reflection Man, Intense Cafe... and a few Guerlains if you consider them niche.
I wore creed aventu's for several years and am very tired of that fragrance so will be staying away from any fragrance that reminds me of creed aventus
I actually compare Cedrat Boise more to Aventus Cologne, since it’s more a citrus with a woody backbone, putting it into the Cedrat Boise style, so much so I passed on Aventus Cologne lol. Looking forward to Cedrat Boise Intense though!
I already got the Chance to smell the Intense Vision, it is nice but to be honest for me it is not better then the og. So for everybody who already got a Bottle of the og, you don‘t Need the intense in my opinion. Mancera got a few other great fragrances, so take a different one.
Another intense. The og was strong enough. I guess it was reformulated and watered down to sell this intense nonsense. I wish rhey would stop playing these games if tweaking a fragrance and calling it something new. These perfumers have run out of ideas and are stuck on this rollercoaster ride of edp parfum extreme intense crap. Just leave the og with it’s good performance and come up with something unique after that.

So you couldn't tell immediately after spraying both of them on each arm that they smell completely different?? Wat. Lol.
This is perfect for my husband and he needs a new summer scent. I like the idea of the ore intensity. Thanks Sebastian.

The reformulated Hacivat is nothing special.
Cedrat Boise/Intense for me are nothing remotely close to Aventus.

Thanks I don't have either and was about to buy the OG after a sample........ Will go straight for the intense now!!
I ❤ it! Also Aoud Vanille... for a simplicity that few strong perfumes have.
I just got my bottle of intense cedrat Boise in the post and I absolutely love it
Interesting to try the intense version find the OG pretty light weight.
