An overview of obligations for registered dental practitioners

This video explains the obligations of registered dental practitioners in Australia. As part of World Oral Health Day on 20 March 2017 dentists are encouraged to support the special day of significance by watching this new video produced by the Dental Board of Australia (the Board).
The video aims to help over 20,000 dental practitioners registered in Australia to understand how they can help protect the public by meeting their obligations under the National Law.
As the regulator of dental practitioners’ the Board’s role is to keep the public safe by ensuring only suitable, qualified and competent dental practitioners are registered who provide quality dental care; and they are held to account when they do not.
