The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to regulate 750,000 health practitioners in Australia.
AHPRA is the national organisation responsible for implementing the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme across Australia, in partnership with the National Boards. This scheme aims to protect the public by ensuring that only suitably trained and qualified health practitioners are registered.

It’s very unlikely that you will need to make a mandatory notification about them. You don’t need to report a practitioner-patient, unless there is a substantial risk of harm to the public. I’m just trying to find out if I’m in the right place in the world... y it gotta b so hard
This is an excellent video. I commend it to all medical practitioners, regardless of specialty, especially anyone who is the subject of a notification to AHPRA. Having been the subject of more than one notification I can only agree with virtually everything Catriona says about her experience.
This is compelling viewing and I congratulate AHPRA for making this video.
