@TheSaffronrose Yes actually. I saw one of the instructors at the studio to work on a more Polynesian flair for this piece since it seemed appropriate, but no one else from the community had seen me since the surgery. I kept the veil on the entire evening until I removed it when I performed.I was told later about the audience's reactions when I started to remove it, because it was announced what kind of surgery I had done, and no one knew what to expect when I took of the veil.
I figured the surgery, and its site, were why you had the veil on, and it was very effective when you removed it. I've got some more q's, but I'll write you directly.
@TheSaffronrose that's fine, if you want to ask questions or talk about it feel free to e-mail me Lovelyladylysette@yahoo.com :) I actually have a blog that goes over all that was done, but I won't link it on here. You understand I'm sure
I didn't do nearly as well 6 months after *my* surgery, but it was a bone spur removed from my right heel. I was afraid to push myself yet, unlike you. Was that the first view many folk had of your hair post-surgery?
I cried. You inspired me. Keep on dancing.
aww! thank you so much! That means the world to me :)
Beautiful - I especially loved your "unveiling" - Stacey (Anastasia)
