Thanks for the helpful video! Just started playing this game. The movement of the player is the hardest thing for me. Sometimes they just don’t move towards the ball. Don’t know how to make them run sideways to catch a ball either. Keep up the good work and thanks!
Thank you for your nice comment! Yes, the movement is a bit clunky but after a while you will get used to it. You usually have to just hold the left analog stick in the direction you want your player to move in. I have uploaded another video with the controller on the screen so you will be able to see what I do and it will give you a better understanding on how to move your player. Hope both of the videos help you. I would say just keep at it and keep playing the game and you will improve. It’s takes a bit to get use to put I promise it’s a good system once you get it down. TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN, dump a lot of points into speed, reflexes and stamina and it helps ALOT with getting around on the court.
I did noticed though there's is a power meter in career mode so this doesn't really help when your a 45 rated player I keep hitting the ball out I will stick at it play now with the big boys is to easy with no power metre

Hi, I played it on console. You can choose if you want to see the markers in the settings. I have put them off since it adds realism and I have now become used to playing without them. I have made another video with a controller camera and the markers on. Do check that out if you want to see game with markers on. Cheers!
Do you use the right analog stick in a rally? When you show your controller you use the right analog, I only use the buttons in combination with R2 for power
Does the right analog add anything? I know you cam use it to shoot but it feels difficult for me.
Hey, I only use the right analog stick for serving. Yes, holding R2 while playing shots is very effective in the game.
Just starting game. How do you aim? When I practice, my shots keeps going to the middle of the court.

Hey, the easiest way to play against a drop shot is to use the drop shot yourself after the opponent hits a drop shot.
you turned off the aiming guide? also should i turn off assisted movement and other stuff?
Hey, yes, I did. I like the game much better without it. I'm used to it now and feel it adds realism. You can try, but it depends on your preference. I would suggest trying to play a bit without the aiming markers and assisted movement to get a feel for it. I feel turning off the aiming markers has improved my game. So maybe turning these off might improve your game too, so definitely give it a try. Let me know how it goes!
How do I ensure that the ball doesn't go out? It keeps happening, despite the marker placement being right?
If your placement is good but your timing is off, the ball will still go out. It has to be a mix of good timing and good placement. What difficulty do you play on?

i just started playing with career mode. my first serve always ends up on net. How to avoid this?
Hey Edward, what difficulty do you play on? It's all about timing when you're serving. Try to green time your serves and if not green then at least yellow. I would recommend you go to the training tab in the menu and do the tutorial on serves. Also, your serve attributes are pretty low in the beginning, so definitely keep playing and improving your player and you will improve your serves.

@@baswouters You move your player with the left analog stick by holding down the left stick in the direction you want your player to move. Movement is a bit clunky but you will get used to it. Happy to help, let me know if you need help with anything else. Hope you enjoy the game :)
Can I play 2 controllers in the same house in singles?
Yes you can, it supports up to 4 players offline. So you can play singles or even doubles.
How to serve and return serve?
Hi, you can serve either using the right analog stick or pressing or holding the square button for a slice serve, the circle button for a top spin serve, the X button for a flat serve and the triangle button for an underarm serve. For returning serves, you can press or hold the X button for a flat shot, the circle button for a top spin shot, the square button for a slice shot and the triangle button for a lob shot. Along with this you should hold the left analog stick in the direction you want your shots and serves to go in. I usually hold down the buttons for a shot instead of just pressing them since it puts more emphasis on power. Hope that answers your question!
@@therealrocky2688 thank you that was helpful. But now my problem is i don't know how to return serves. When I play with my friend and he does a serve my player can't reach the ball in time which leads to many aces, I tried standing way behind the baseline and even going forward to close the angle but nothing works. I concede alot of aces.
@@kaddou1 Have you tried standing in the corner like I do when I'm returning serves? Try standing where I'm standing when I return serves. It's an effective way to avoid aces.
