Hey, in this video I started a new career so it was the same for my player too. That's why in the video I mention that you need to spend all your points on forehand topspin, backhand topspin, dropshot and lobshot in the beginning. Hope that helps!
Good video, thank you. Can you explain how to manage the career? Every time I play a tournament, my guy is already exhausted, with very low stamina. How can I fix that?
Good video Rocky just picked this up for a fiver so took a risk. Use to play Top Spin on 360 which was good I think better than this but don't have any Tennis sim for Xbox 1. I am going to sub as interested in a possible series on career mode/ serving etc. Now how do you play without markers as you never hit any balls out but also no aces, is it only on rookie the ball always stays in play?
Thanks, its definitely worth it for that price. Top Spin 4 is my favourite tennis game of all time. I found top spin 4 better than this but this game is still good. You have to get used to the timing and placement. I have made 2 tips and tricks videos. One is with markers on too. You should definitely check those out. Try playing with markers on first. I've been playing this game for a while so I know how to place the ball even without markers. Both timing and placement are very important in this game. Yes, the ball stays in all the time on rookie difficulty. I'm playing on Grand Slam difficulty which is the highest difficulty. The ball goes out pretty easily if you miss the timing even by a bit on grand slam difficulty, that's why you should first play with markers on. Thanks for the sub!
@@therealrocky2688 Thanks for feedback Rocky. I am used to Tennis games as played all the Top Spin franchise and did well. However with this game I find the Power bar so small and not visually placed well and then it wont allow you to direct the shot until powered up (to green hopefully) so having to put the 'placement dot' very quickly and mine seems to move slightly afterwards. Maybe my player is not developed enough or my controller is ineffective but I cannot get beyond Amateur so will keep checking out your vids and welcome any tips on Power up & placement of the dot, Training and coping with tiredness. I have now my first sponsor paying a bit of cash but cannot see clothing line in clothing section, am I missing something? BTW my drop shot gets me the key points I need to win games but this seems the game maybe a bit broken?
@@rozzleonardo6521 Hi Rozz, it will take some time getting used to it but once you get comfortable and start applying these tips you will see a massive improvement. I found it a bit similar to top spin 4. Career mode is difficult since your player starts at a really low overall. Maybe try play a few matches in exhibition mode with better players first so you get used to the mechanics. It's all about building muscle memory, so once you start getting regular green timed shots, you will understand when to leave the button for perfect timing. I explained the importance of aggressive shots in this game, mostly aggressive top spin shots. Use aggressive top spin shots for power. Regular shots don't have as much power. So Hold down the R2 button and circle button for an aggressive top spin shot. These are very effective. The drop shots are a bit broken in this game. Usually when you hit a drop shot, the cpu will make an error. You can use them to bail you out of tough situations. Just keep at it and applying the tips. You will definitely improve. Hope this helps!
@@therealrocky2688 Thanks Rocky, pleased to report now my player stats are improving so is my game and placing shots seems to be staying in court so now moving up to semi - pro. As you say step by step so thanks for your tips & feedback.
Thanks for that video. In low difficulties i manage to win games, but i really struggle in double. I don’t know how to play double even in very easy difficulties. Any tips ?
are the best shots this 4?: drop shot, lob, agressive top spin and agressive flat?? and if, when to use each of those 4 shots??
what is the diffrence between normal top spin shot and powered stop spin shot??
@BernardBecan The ball travels faster when you hit a powered top spin shot as compared to a normal top spin shot.
But my player has very low skills like service or flat shot, drop etc

Do you play without an assisted movement?
