Even if the level was the exact same, it wouldn't be as good without the Severe Warning. It turns what would have otherwise been confusion at the sheer length of the stage into raw determination. You agreed to this, after all.
I played the stage mostly just as Spark, since the higher gravity on him can be more useful for precision at times. I did cheese though with the boost power, because of course I did.
@@supersmily5811 I can agree with you, I did a Fark only run and messed up a lot of my jumps cus of how nimble and addictive his moveset is, not realising I dont really need it
I love how this level fused every mechanic into one and tested your overall skill. Love final levels like that. Also love the voice sample in this song, makes it funky as hell.
Me: (Heads into the Fark Force building) OK, 10 minutes on the clock, but the stage's finally over now... that was tense. CUE THE MUSIC CHANGE TO PART 2 Me: ...Oh.
One day ill beat this level, just some of the parts are so precise it hurts even with a controller. No sonic game ever challenged me this hard lol, scratch that no PLATFORMER was this much of a challenge. Ive played tons but this one, this one pushes it to the limit. 20 years of binging this genre. One hell of an accomplishment. Update Finally won, lol one hell of an ending.
@@Skyfecta my laptop is quite buggy it took me sometime to master some faster parts. but now Im doing runs with no deaths lol. still finding odd short cuts that I thought were impossible XD the playerbase shows some cool tricks.
I wish after you beat the game you unlocked the individual stages of the finale as separate stages to run. I really like every part of Utopia Shelter, but boy is it daunting to casually replay.
No, I’d say this is actually a good use of lives, making every death count and put more and more pressure on you (Also the level kicks ass, my favorite level in the game) That one long-ass grind rail segment 😫
Guys, my brothe says that in this song there's a sample that comes from a song that i used to hear so much. But the problem is that i don't remember which song was. Could you guys tell me where does that sample comes from?
*Finally* beat this slog fest. Sorry, I don't care for shear duration "not a real gamer" or whatever. I honestly don't understand this painful design choice. I can handle a challenge, but 25ish minutes?? No, that kinda sucked, fun whittled away completely. Oh and game overs are bs.
The severe warning right before this stage started was when I knew shit was about to go down.
I loved it. Basically was like a "yo shits about to go down" warning. Hyped me up
Suddenly: Guardian

Ah yes, the EggmanLand of the Spark series.
thank you for putting the dots together on that one, thats actually fucking genius
This was actually quite easy for me but yes!
@@Leucaria whether it was hard or not doesn't matter, i think its more or less the fact that it's just really long, like eggmanland
@@Leucaria Play it in challenge mode
@@puddlepacifico6414 not much harder honestly
blasted through here as float,
you know, looking back at that with the ending in mind, I think I was responsible for that :(

When you replay stages after beating the game it’s best to play them with sfarx since of his way higher max speed for easy fast times

Newest song on my list of "Video game songs to include the Lyrical paragraphs rap sample"
Lmao i need that list
quite possibly one of the best ending levels ever

I second this
What? Utopia shelter is the only stage in the bunch after the warning, the rest is just Flint, then the actual stage, and then the two final bosses.

An Midgar City fill with Evil City theme.

its Einhander, boss theme
the song is called Shudder
Its from a rap sample CD, called Masterbits CLIMAX 6 Rapsody sample is titled Lyrical Paragraph.

Tedious ass level, but at least this beat was fresh.
