I’d love to see how Brad would feel about Reinventing Axl Rose, back when Against Me! were fully into the heavier side of punk. He’d either like it a lot or hate it even more lmao

Punk album sounds like punk album is such a stupid criticism, it’s like Fantano hating most post rock albums because it sounds like post rock smh. Not everything has to be super experimental.
I don't like this album much either. Against Me!'s earlier, more actual punk stuff is much more good listening... I like Reinventing Axl Rose. As for queer punk, though, Millions Of Dead Cops is a great example - check out My Family Is A Little Weird sometime
not a fan of the album but sick reaction
the lyrics and drumming are superb, haven't been a fan of against me!'s vocalist from pre- or post-transition, and i find a lot of the album's sound to be boring. still respect it for what it is though
