Wish I had seen this video 1st before peeling. If anyone started peeling the sticker before finding this video, first follow this video and after that dampen the area where the bits of sticker and sticky stuff is left and use the sticky side of tape (scotch or masking) to rub it off. Thank you for this video.
I wished i had saw this before soaking my labels to remove them. I soaked my fabric and steam pressed until I was able to remove. I was just going to wash the fabric after the removal of the labels to soften the fabric. . .but saw another video where they used fabric softener and dry iron. Thank you for sharing!
(face palm...) This was one of my pet peeves about buying this kind of fabric. Glad to find a solution, will try it. Just gotta say tho - - has this company never heard of 3M? The King of the removable sticky?! Surely they have a label that will hold up under pressure, but peel off like a dream. Off to the iron I go!
To the fabric manifacturers: the label should include instructions on how to remove the sticky label and wash the fabric bec THAT'S WHAT LABELS ARE FOR.
They should not put the stickers on the fabrics that is my opinion...the sticker comes of but the glue never comes of completely....😭 but I love the Ankara fabrics for real!!!❤❤❤
I was just browsing youtube and came across your video. Thank you so much! I purchased some African Fabrics and did know how I was going to remove the labels.
The label has removed very well, but the sticky residue remains along with the mark from where the label was. Also the paper towel residue is now left on the fabric. What else can I try?
Please, stop using these labels. I don't mind safety pins and paper labels, but this is so frustrating. I don't want to waste an inch of these beautiful fabrics.

don't use iron just put water on it, that new technic and you won't see or tach the tape easy way.

Indeed! Plus, the label should be put on the inside of the fabric and not on the outside, this would avoid all the trouble.
Wanted to say thanks. I just tried this and it worked so well... thank you thank you thank you

Thank you very much. This is excellent!
Thanks for sharing. I use to cut off the area and throw it away knowing the sticky parts attract dirts. 👍🏽
