Diageo is a long term holding of mine since many years. I'm a very simple man and understand hard liquor, tobacco, hookers and coke are always in demand. No matter the severity of a crisis humanity faces. This comment obsiously shouldn't be taken too seriously 🤭
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I must confess that I'm a bit proud to have come to a similar conclusion. I've obviously learned a lot from your videos. Very helpful!!
One thing to add to the many valid points in the video: not only did Pernod-Ricard take on a lot of additional debt in recent years, they are simultaneously continuing the buyback program despite the 'normalizing' business environment. I'm staying away from companies that engage in this kind of reckless financial engineering, including this one.
You have really helped me with this video and others like this. I now think/know that non-growth companies are dangerous. They would not be, if there was a management that said "we are sort of happy with the cash flow and try to improve it where we can, return it to shareholders since there are not great opportunities for growth investments". But usually there is management that starts to do anything they can to at least make it look like this is a growth -company, without sparing money that would otherwise go to investors.
Thank you for your Educative videos .. If there is one thing I have learned in recent months it is to remain calm, especially when it comes to investments in cryptocurrencies. Learn not to sell in a panic when everything goes down and not to buy in euphoria when everything goes up. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. Bitcoin going up is good for the entire market and you can not tell if it's going bearish or bullish. I Would say More emphasis should be put into day trading as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. I have made over 31btc from day trading with Aria Cookings insights and signals. in less than 2 months, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish...
Her technical analysis is excellent and her interpretation/projections of the market is so accurate I sometimes ask myself if she is human haha. Point is, Aria is the perfect trader to follow for advise and daily signals.
I dont even know where the stock market is headed to right now. my portfolio of around 200k is not increasing more than 5% and people are predicting a crash .
Accurate asset allocation is crucial, I used hedging strategies to allocate part of my portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.
P/E of 10 for Diageo doesn’t seem realistic. Their brands have lasted for decades if not centuries, really high competitive advantages. The real risk is not competition like you say, it’s lower alcohol demand
You're doing a fantastic job! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Alcohol is alcohol. Better than tobacco. Best product on earth in terms of future demand and security. but that doesn't mean every company will succeed.
thx! i'd compare DEO more with BF.B than with P.Ricard. all have about the same margins, expenses, future growth revenues..even the same charts resemblance! i think the closing of Russia market really hurt their sales, also the fact that younger people drink less strong alcohol and more soft drinks, energy drinks, coffees, plus craft drinks...
Only thing worth listening to on Pernod is Swetha Ramachandran's breakdown of the business. Shes someone who actually put some time and energy into her piece, understands how the business works and does a proper job. The above isnt an analysis - not even a bad one.
would you please do a review of Allfunds? business keep on growing, market cap keeps on declining very cash generative. secular tailwinds for next 5-10 years
iam Planing to buy a very good Dividend Raising Stock in early Novemeber, the German Company (Mensch und Maschine).A Very Solid Company with great Margins and Dividend History and a very good Growing Company. There Biggest Tenannt is the US Company Autodesk.
The famous NON RECURRING chages are always hilarious. It's like when in your personal budget you do not consider the costs of your child as "it will grow some day" and so it is not part of the recurring expenses of the family. 🫠

I ate a non-recurring steak the other day so I excluded it from my calories consumed.
🤣🤣🤣 spot on analogy!

Yeah but when I was laid off I got cheaper hookers and hooch. Young kids don't drink as much as I did they prefer fentynyl
And you can actually invest in strip bars now...😅
Wow you forgot Porn 😉
You should check RCI Hospitality ($RICK)

Really like how you're putting companies on the risk / reward chart. Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Absolitely agree with this, its a good visualization
Sven, great job exposing the capital destruction these guys do by churning through brands

thanks, nice to know!
Saw Diago’s stock fall recently too and did a similar analysis and thought the same thing as you! 7 years of learning from you has paid off!
great to hear!

One must always read the footnotes! 😊
if those are important, yes!

Aria Cookings program is widely available online.

Bitcoin is the way of the future, and investing in it will be the smartest decision you can do, especially with its present Price.

I'd advise you redistribute assets in your portfolio with the help of a pro so you don't get burnt in the market

Pls how can I reach this expert, I need someone to help me manage my portfolio.
Melissa Elise Robinson is the licensed advisor I use. Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
You are on fire this week!
:-)
Im glad you have been recovering your consistency in video uploading! Keep it going

Hi Sven, would like to ask about your toughts on Aixtron. Thanks for the Pernod Ricard analyse which helped me much.
I recently bought hugo boss and kering, how about luxury stocks?
Pernod Ricard, PE of 12?
What are the exact reasons in your opinion?
Average of the last 20 years was: 20, for 2025 we are now at 17 PE...

Hi Sven, what do you think about Verallia VRLA ?
don't know, haven't analyzed!
These gen z don’t drink alcohol.
Hard for older people to understand this since they poison themselves for ‘fun’.
@@RoTelnCheese Tpo much health will kill you.

nice video, make an analysis for Edenred, its quite interesting
Similarly to Hormel Foods
Exuberance even though profit is stagnant, dividend tempting - but fund via new emission so worthless

Actually alcohol consummation (including beer) is declining world wide. That is why beer companies are now purchasing soft and energy drink brands.

correct, times change, and the stock prices reflect it!
I like Diego, but pernod not bad.
thanks for sharing!
Plenty of better opportunities in the FTSE than diageo
for example? I don't mind "nichols plc"
Why is Hermes so different ??? 🤔
Luxuries, brands and spirits are doomed.
PER12? Should you expect a financial crisis like 2008s to see that. Not happening.
it happens more often than one could think of now!

yep!

i was lucky to buy some Shares of Diageo at 27,50 Euro in August this Year.
How when it's never been that low? Ah, never mind, because the brits are retarded and use GBX.
lol
Me too $126.20 😊

What’s up with NTR & MOS? They’re stagnating and dropping.
as said, still at mid cycle, can go another 30% down possibly and even hopefully
