They look really good and compliment the bike, they could be Hagon shocks made in UK. l have ones that look identical on my classic 500, they give a slightly firmer ride with more damping, very practical as well, east cleaning, keeps all the road dirt off the seals, no leaking, shocks last years longer. Hagon do progressive front fork springs for the Classic 500 that work really well. The originals are quite good quality, but as you have said Indian bikes are set up softer because of the poor roads and generally slower speeds....🙂
Oh niiiice looking forward to your feedback on the int650 mate. Concrats on the purchase. Bet you cant wait. These shocks look great imo and i love the inch lower look!
Hello iRide Tas. Apologies for the VERY late question on this Video 🙈I read that the replacement shocks are 300mm centre to centre of eyelets, but do you know what length the original ones you removed were centre centre? Would be MUCH appreciated. Many Thanks.
Fantastic work.. just wanted to check if you had any problem in putting the bike in main stand i heard it wont stand property do we need to do modifications
@@iRidetas thanks mate.. I have Royal Enfield electra Es .. where the rear wheel is 19 inch.. now if install these will there be any problem with main stand .. thanks for replying
Hi mate - quick extra questions, did you adjust the front forks downwards, and have you ever bottomed out on the back now that its lower ? Ive ordered 300m Hagons shocks as your Armstrongs weren't available - Cheers !
Good one - did they change the ergonomics of the bike given they are an inch shorter ? More up right ? Im looking at a solution to bring the bars closer and have moved to Scrambler bars but they still seam too far forward given the upright seating position.... any advice would be helpful.....bugger they look like they are out of stock !
@@iRidetas Great, yes I angled the originals back too, but with the standard shocks it still feels to angled forward given the upright riding position. I'm 169cm ....so not tall...thanks again mate, I'll track some 300mm shocks down somehow !
They do look good but I didn't see a preload adjustment.....you weren't in any curves to speak of but do you think draggin hard parts will be an issue. ?
@@iRidetas its a request if possible plz make a video on all the tips and tricks to recuce royal Enfield height as it will help many short height riders like me, thanks
Era correctness now where have i heard that before Lol.... They don't scream look at me which lets the eye take everything else in as there is alot to take in on those bikes. Good on Mark for that he's a champ 👌Another two cuppa ☕☕ job i see, take care cheers m8 : )

Nope no issues at all
@@iRidetas thanks mate.. I have Royal Enfield electra Es .. where the rear wheel is 19 inch.. now if install these will there be any problem with main stand .. thanks for replying
It will potentially stand more upright but not to a point where it would want to topple
Hi, I had dificults. I need help of another person to use the central (principal). Is very hard to use. The side one is no problem.
Hi mate - quick extra questions, did you adjust the front forks downwards, and have you ever bottomed out on the back now that its lower ? Ive ordered 300m Hagons shocks as your Armstrongs weren't available - Cheers !
Front forks completely stock, never bottomed out the rear! 👍👍
@@iRidetas Awesome thanks mate - enjoy your Tassie summer
Sorry late to the party with this vid. What size are they centre to centre compared to stock?
300mm

It handles just as well and is probably more comfortable imo! I angled the bars back with no issues plenty of slack in the cables

After change shockabsorber , what is the result ? And what size shockabsorber standard 320mm you have chaged to 300mm ?
Ummm, the result is the rear is lowered and looks more retro!
Have you tried to ride the bike with a passenger to check if the wheel touches the fender?
I dont ride with a pillion so no need! But shorter shocks are much stiffer so it wont!
They do look good but I didn't see a preload adjustment.....you weren't in any curves to speak of but do you think draggin hard parts will be an issue. ?
They have preload adjustment and are fairly firm!
What panniers are those: they look really nice! 😎

What's the brand of the saddle bag?
ua-cam.com/video/lCOMvE_MK0M/v-deo.html
Do they improve the ride quality over rough roads?
No, not at all, they are stiffer ss they are shorter. Look great though!
Thanks
Hi dude,
Is this new shock abs are shorter than stock ones ?!??
If yes, how much is the difference
It's all in the video
Hey Mate,
Any chance you know if these would work for an interceptor 650, I'm looking to lower the seat height .
Thanks.
Not sure sorry!
just got same hagons for my 650gt
They look good on any retro bike! 👍
Hi Tas,check out AJS/Matchless jam pot models, your shocks are identical to that era mate....
