Very comprehensive review as always. Looking forward to your review of the JBL Quantum 800s. A deathmatch between the Quantum 800s and the Arctis 9s would be the cherry on the cake. These were the two wireless/bluetooth headsets I finally had to choose between and I settled on the Arctis 9s for the better battery life and the purported better comfort for my large head.

-the wireless part. can I get your personal opinion on Sound and comfortability vs the Astro a50? Been using Astro for 6 years. Before that was turtle beach 800x. I'm highly interested in these but I am astounded with the sound by Astro, but the ear cups cause slight ear pain after a few hours of use. What I'm asking in a way is if the cups are deeper? And is the sound better or similar

Nice review but I feel you got the purpose of the head tracking wrong at around 6:03 the purpose of headtracking is for when you use VR if you turn around it will keep sounds orientated otherwise left will end up being right etc when you turn your entire body. If you are not using VR then Personally I would turn head tracking off as it is disorientating for me at least. I own the 910's for about a week now. I watched your review on the Quantum 1 and I did not pickup on what you were trying to say until i got the head set and I had to find the video so I could make this comment if people are wondering why they should go with headtracking.

my only concern of this headset is the foam padding of the ear i think this is not a leather material in the long run i guess it will be pealing off the coating layer. just like my Asus Orion Gaming headset..

Does headset lose their spatial functionality when you are connected via 3.5mm ?

ive had this since blackfriday 2020 i believe it was, and after 8 or so months it started to disconnect on regular basis, its the usb-c connector on the headset that most likely a weaknes on these headsets.. and for the price of 300 dollars, i bought it for 150 dollars ish. its really poor quality. the sound is great on them, but mic is on the same quality as hyper x cloud 2 or even worse...
if they had a permanent cable instead of the usb-c then i might would have another opinion.
The head tracker could also be used for VR-gaming? Seems to be the most fitting place, atleast that i can think of.
in vr the games would do that on their own. the headtracker is a fun feature but is also a gimmick that you'll likely never use/notice that its there
No, it wouldnt work with VR. I think it would work very well with Eye Tracker set ups, but like he said, its a niche feature that has very little use, even though it brings a different level of immersion.
I have crackling sound on 7.1 surround sound (quantumsphere 360). Any solution?
my pair is already starting to wear down after about a year and a half of use, both of the ear cups are having some leather peeling off, the left one has peeling leather at the top on the seam and the right one has had the seam completely rip open and expose the foam at the bottom

Hi. I recently bought the JBL Quantum One headset. However, it is too quiet even at max volume. I've cranked up every other setting inclusive of JBL Quantum Software, PC Sound System, on the headset itself and the dial attached to it. Any other fix for this volume issue?
Are you connecting the headset to your computer with the dial that ends in a USB-A connection? That's the game audio/chat audio balance dial. Turning it clockwise quiets or mutes the game audio, while turning it counter-clockwise quiets or mutes the chat audio. You're best off leaving the dial pointing to the middle to balance the two so you get a balanced volume level for both, or otherwise you get one very quiet source rather than a balance.
the sensitivity is slightly lower than alot of headsets so it'll be slightly quieter that you might be used to. id say get a cheap amp. it should solve the volume issue.

JBL Q One is easily the best one. I own both and Blackshark V2 feels like a cheap headset in comparison. Remember, JBL started as an audio company not a gaming one so they make damn sure their stuff works and work well.
does anyone else get a buzzing noise when audio jack and chat mixer is connected at the same time?
fixed, having the controller plugged into the xbox via android cable makes it buzz.
Really good video. Just please remove that sound effect you are using when the red arrow is appearing and disappearing because it sounds like an Audio Clip Haggle and it's a horrible sound lol

I paid $75 for a new Quantum One headset from an ebay reseller and for that price, it's an absolute steal. At $200, it's a harder ask. But the ANC is amazingly good.
bought mine at blackfriday for about 150 dollars. and new they would cost about 300. and i mean, sound quality they are good. but building quality they are shit. that was in 2020 blackfriday. now they still selling for 300 dollars in Norway. i wouldnt pay more than maybe 90 dollars for them. since i have the experience with them.. not a 300 class headset with the shit building quality they have

Always keep an eye out for Ross and Marshall’s. I found picked up 2 pairs for 100 each just because i randomly saw them sitting behind the registers

I'm using these on the PS5, and found it best to just use the USB instead of plugging it into the controller. They sound good, nice and clear, but it seems weaker than on PC. On my gaming PC, they sound a whole lot better as you have more control over the sound with the software. Also, they're 100x more better than my wireless Sony Platinum headset, as the bass in those are non-existance
Hey so you set then up on your computer first and then used them on your ps5 right? Do the rgb lights work when using usb on ps5? Sorry for so many Q's!
@@xtrangerhigh7191 yes you set them up on the computer. And the rgb gets its power through usb, so it still works on the PS5. You can change the colors with the software on the computer, and them same colors will be used when you plug them into the PS5
@@shanfari2284 yes. Just make sure the knob that’s on the cord is turned all the way to the “Game” side, which mean turn the knob all the way to the left. And it sounds even better when you turn on the noise cancellation.
@@shanfari2284 no it was a bit on the low side when it came to the volume. I’ll just actually say it sucks when I connect it to the controller with the 3.5

Just got these for 99aud reduced from 499aud so even if soundly quality isn’t worth 500 it a 100% worth a 99 bucks.

@@NyteStalker89 the jbl has good sound and such but the building quality on them are rubbish. never had audio technica but i would go for that instead. had my jbl since 2020 blackmarket and it started to fuckup after 8 months the anc is great on them but the usb-c connecton port is rubbish starts disconnecting and such...
HAVE DOLBY ATMOS?
It doesn't. It uses DTS Headphone X 2.0 or JBL's proprietary QuantumSphere 360. Both work nicely.

I don't know if I was unlucky, but my jbl q one headset is absolute trash, would not recommend anyone to pay the insane cost for them. fucking hate them and poor quality.
