This has been my favorite new addition. It shoots up in acceleration so quickly and smoothly. This one of those cars that makes you feel like Electric is the future.

All that sand comming from the sandstorm going into those windtunnels on the car would sandblast the paint off pretty quickly at 300km/h I reckon.
I mean a sandblaster shoots sand at a much higher speed than that.. and sandblasting is done in a controlled environment. Not to mention that sand blasting focuses sand into a small area in order to increase effectiveness. If you were to increase the storms amount of sand by about 3-5x 0you'd have the equivalent of a sand blaster

Yup, fully. I love those cars, but if you’ve ever driven a +700/800hp car, you know that 2000 is straight up dangerous. No amount of driving assists can keep from a highspeed crash if you act silly behind the wheel lol
IRL, you do need a heavy car to actually use this much monster power. If the car is too light, the mechanical grip from rubber isn't going to be enough, especially at low speed. It's going to easily spin everywhere and be a nightmare to calibrate. Those AWD drift cars with 1500hp are good example.
@@TheRacingMonkey I guess its within the law.. Nobody is going to make a full stop on the autobahn with a normal car and just like that nobody should step 100% on the gas with this thing on a normal road. :D

A handful of people got invited to play the game early, but only for a couple days. The idea was to capture some early gameplay and find/fix bugs before the game officially comes out.

Lol, but the right RPM was kinda important here. You needed a tiny bit of slip for the fastest 0-100 time. If the revs are too low, you don’t get slip off the line. Too high and...well, lots of smoke

it got to topspeed with no effort, even at 400 it was pulling like it was going 200. effortless acceleration

This game proves that you can still have an amazing launch of a AAA game. So many people blaming it on unrealistic expectations/hype, but Playground delivered on this. One or two bugs but overall just incredible. Devs everywhere take notes.
