    Correction! We wanted to update you on a few errors. I mentioned that the vent near the A/C was for heat and then went on to explain the radiant hearing system. The vent is for the A/C and I said the fridge was a 2-way fridge when I meant 3-way. The other fridge placement option I mentioned is where the 2-way would go. Also, the batteries are kept under the bed. Sorry if I confused anyone. I usually catch my slip ups in editing but I wanted to make the correction so you could get the possible info we can provide. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for your great reviews. You both do a great job.
    We have this trailer and LOVE it. There are only the two of us. I can't imagine adding a third. We had a travel fridge we carried in our tow vehicle, so opted for the small fridge in the trailer, giving us a closet for additional storage. My husband is a man of "generous proportions" and the bed is big enough for both of us. The sloping wall could be a bit claustrophobic for some, not for me. It is a pleasure to watch the night sky, a wild storm or a lovely sunrise through that window. Air flow is great with all the windows and natural light pours in. We have a large shade that attaches to the exterior trim rail, giving us an outdoor shelter from sun and rain. The cook top has a glass lid, providing more counter space when closed. The wet bath works well, even for the big man. It handles really well on the road, hardly feel it when towing. The price seems to have gone up since we bought ours, but it is well built and we've had no problems. We'd buy it again, even at that price.

      Awesome, thanks for sharing your experience. We just knew that window would be fantastic to sleep under! It is great to hear the airflow is good and the wet bath works for all sizes. Remember the price we are sharing is in CAN$ so that makes a difference. We love that you love it and are out there having a wonderful time in it. Enjoy. Thanks for watching.

    The links for the currency converter and the chapters make this a very user-friendly video. I usually won't watch videos of this length but I felt like it flowed well and was full of useful information.

    Hi. I have a 2020 Tab 400 and absolutely love it. I did not get the microwave option because we would never use it as we mostly Boondock and need the extra cabinet for storage. I opted for the smaller 2 way fridge so that we could have a larger closet instead and for us it’s a necessity. Even with just 2 of us, the closet to store clothes, sweaters and bags is great. We just use a cooler to store our drinks and the small fridge works fine. We spent 4 days in Utah for 3 of us and had plenty of room for all our food. My 2 sons are both over 6’ and sleep fine in the bed and I’m only 5’3” so I convert the dining area to a bed for me and it works perfectly. It sleeps the 3 of us comfortably. I love the size and tow it with no problems. I did have a Jeep Wrangler which has a towing capacity of 3500 lbs and I was able to tow the Tab, but it was pushing the limits and I didn’t feel safe. I upgraded to a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it tows my trailer beautifully! I don’t even feel it back there. I’m a first time RV owner and this trailer is the perfect size for me to handle and can easily get into smaller campsites. The Alde heater works well using the propane and shore power. It’s a solid trailer that is built well and worth every penny. I’ve taken my trailer out 10 times last year and had no problems.

      This is absolutely fantastic to hear. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with your TAB. It's great to hear that all 3 of you can fit comfortably and we get why you would want the closet. We are also happy to hear you upgraded your tow vehicle to a better suited one. Less stress and more safety is worth so much. Thanks for watching and sharing.

    Thanks for sharing. This is the first time I saw that vertical translucent divider between the TV and kitchen stove. We will get the Isotherm 2-way fridge (i.e., no LP) because it is more efficient with DC, and deeper despite being shorter. I am also grateful that there IS actually storage beneath the bed. It was my impression that when they switched to the two 6V AGM batteries, Nautlius system, and eliminated the sewage hose storage tube, that there would be no storage below the bed.

      @@DoesSizeMatter Yes, the production date is set for January 18, 2021. It will be almost exactly like that one, sans microwave, and with the other refrigerator so we can have a useable wardrobe closet. It will be gray with the Tempest graphic. We're excited. We enjoy watching your videos!

      @@drmichaellum We got the layout you have on order. It's wonderful. I regret getting the microwave. We could use snother cabinet. @@May-gq7wn Yes, we (wifey and I) are in Southern California and plan to pick this trailer up at Princess Craft in February. However, with the pandemic raging on, I may have to modify travel plans slightly. Filling up @ gas stations and getting food on occasion shouldn't be much different than what we are already doing, and we plan to stay at home (the new one we take with us). When will you get yours?

    I've always liked the T@B products, but the prices are now into the Airstream realm. About 5 years ago they were half the price.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому

      Yes they are nice and yes they are expensive but the consumers dictate the prices right. If people weren't buying the prices would come down. It's just that kind of market for RVs these days. Thanks for watching

    Nice review. Storage is so minimal in the 400 as apposed to the LGM but Tab has a better bathroom. I think this is a great trailer for minimalists that will spend most time outdoor.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому +1

      We agree storage is an issue and we did like the bathroom. Pretty much anything in this size is for folks that want to spend most of their time outside, which is great. It's all about finding the right rig for each person's wants, needs and priorities. Thanks for watching.

  • @MD-wk3gj

    The NuCamp T@B teardrop trailers are really nice. I am seriously considering one.
    Personally I would prefer they remove the bathroom sink.
    In such a small space I’d rather they reduce the overall MSRP by the material/installation cost of the sink.
    I can ‘walk’ 1-2 steps over to the kitchen sink to wash my hands or brush my teeth.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому +2

      We agree they are nice little trailers and it would be very exciting to get one. We always say to each his own. The reason the bathroom sink is so important to us is that when we are saving water dishes don't get washed more then once/day and the sink tends to fill up so there just isn't room for handwashing or teeth brushing etc... in the kitchen sink. It's not about the distance to get to the sink. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching

    You need to do a bit more research about the product you’re reviewing. That floor plan is optional. The fridge is a three way. That space is normally a closet when configured with a smaller two way. Those ducts are for AC not heat.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому +3

      We do a lot of research and review a lot of rigs but admit we aren't perfect. You are correct I did make couple of errors on this one. We did explain where the radiant heat came from but yes while I was discussing the A/C I did call the vent a heat vent and yes I did mix up and call the fridge a 2-way when I meant a 3-way. I did also explain the differences in the floor plans and we have previously shown the solo which we referred to and explained we had, so we had that covered. I usually catch these errors in editing but I will make a pinned comment to explain it to viewers. Thanks for watching.

      @@DoesSizeMatter I’m not trying to be harsh but Tab owners cringe at misinformation. Thanks for the vid.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому

      We hear you, owner's of all brands feel that way about their rigs. Sometimes harshness isn't what a person intends but it's all in the way a comment is phrased and communicated. One has to be super careful when expressing your thoughts in writing. Like I said we usually catch our errors in editing but this one slipped by me, but we do our research or work very hard to produce the best content we can. We always welcome comments from owner's but do need them to be respectful. We think the TAB is an awesome trailer too and we would love to hear about all of the adventures you go on and why the TAB works so well for you.
