There’s a huge contrast between Jeff and Gregg’s complexity and points of view. And neither of them are wrong! That’s what makes the Hiker the perfect blank slate. We’ve sure had fun adding to and removing from ours over the years!
I just started following you this week. I'm definitely interested in these little campers. I appreciate how they still fit in a garage, but can spread out so much when actually camping. Also, I don't think I'm too far away being from Fort Wayne. I have tent camped in Ludington before. Nice area.
Happy Birthday, looks like an amazing trip of HIKERS!!! We have been enjoying ours and just added the Darche shower room as well so I’m interested to see your review as we have not used it as of yet. Love the videos, keep it up 👍 -Malorie & Matt
I would love to have some of those boxes made…..I’ll pay, I’ll pay!!!! How can I ask Jeff? 😊 thanks. You’ve all inspired us into building our trailer. Thank you
Thank you for the nice reviews. We have been looking at a lot of your videos. We are starting to buy stuff for our new hiker trailer. Its being built right now and should be ready by Nov - Dec. The software engineer, is the first video I have seen where someone talks about tongue weight. We will be pulling with a new 2024 Outback Wilderness, well we are going to try! HT is a 5 X 10 deluxe something. I opted to not have a fridge box. I also will have a smaller utility box in front. We are having HT custom raise the bottom shelf a little higher to accommodate the fridge. Fridge and GoalZero and all electronics will go in the back. Looking for a slide out system for the truma fridge.
Happy Birthday Matt and Greg.. Saw you guys on Drew's channel, uhfff. Leaning back towards a Hiker than a Cargo Conversion!! A "Tribble" 😂😂... Hoobilly
Oh man! Gregg - brother from another mother! I did hear backpacking a couple times, maybe that is the common denominator. Anything that is lighter weight, or simpler, is better. I have the redundant battery box, since the fridge must be kept cold, but yes, simpler with comfort. Wife is a software engineer, so a high power usb-c is necessary if she needs to connect back to the mothership while we are out. Me, mechanical engineer, if it moves, it needs maintained!

Always enjoy your videos and friends. Thank you.
One thing I enjoy is that mods are never done they are an evolution.
that is for sure - continuously tweaking to make it better.
Nice video. We love Ludington, perfect area for hiking, kayaking and SUP's. Ludington state park is usually booked so we stay at Cartiers campground.
Happy Birthday Matt 🎉& Greg🎉🎂🍦🍰

If you have the battery and fridge in the back, that should help offset some of the tongue weight.

OMG, I haven’t made it past Gregg’s portion to comment that I am the Anti -Gregg. 🤣 Commendable.

On Greg and Sarah's trailer what do they have covering the middle shelf in the galley? Some kind of black mat?

Hiker always does a white roof which helps with the temp issues. Could there be a slight difference based on wall color - maybe a little but not much.
👍👍👍👍👍😀
Coda: on the trip home we decided to remove the pass-through doors. Why? Don’t need ‘em!
continuing to make it simpler......only Gregg. Most people go the other way and keep adding more......

Gregg made a mod!
