Hi Matt and Wendy! Thanks for all your videos and so glad y'all were able to dodge the tornado. I'm sure it was a little scary for a while. We are from the Houma, Louisiana area and, while we don't get tornadoes, we do have to endure hurricanes. (Ida messed us up big time down here.) My wife and I have been thinking of getting a teardrop and your videos of the Hiker Trailer have been very helpful which makes me lean toward Hiker. She still has this problem with not being able to stand up in them and where would the bathroom be located. She has been watching these with me along with other UA-camrs that show the good times they are having. Plus the extra awnings and side walls would give more privacy in crowded campgrounds. My only hangup is the AC situation as it stays hot down here for some time during the year. Keep up the great work and thanks for all you do!
Nice to see you doing a hiker trailer camp out in cooks forest, have you ever considered doing one for all square drops. Would love to see different types and mods. We have a Mission Overland summit and our community is pretty small so look to others for ideas
You know it’s kind of funny. I’m from California, so I’m used to earthquakes, forest fires, storms, and floods. Most people from the Midwest tell me that the natural disasters I’m used to would terrify them. As for me, tornados would really bother me!
Living in Michigan, we are protected from a lot of the bad weather -the Great Lakes tempers things for us. The worst we typically get is a bad snowstorms (Lake effect snow) but that isn't even as bad over the last 10-15 years
@@MWDAdventures Yep, 20 miles west of downtown Cleveland. Last night we came east about 70 miles to Geneva State Park on Lake Erie, with the Buckeye chapter of Tearjerkers. We’ll be here until Sunday, but we’re expecting rain off and on the whole time. Then off again Tuesday for a five day getaway (motels) and then the following Sunday five days in the Hiker at Delaware State Park here in Ohio. Then the Hiker event and another Tearjerkers gathering in September. Then our daughter is getting married mid October. Busy summer!!

Thanks for watching. They make great roof units for on grid camping. Changing tent works great in any campground.

Ours is aimed at Hiker Trailers, but we don't turn anyone away. We just say where we will be and anyone can show up :-)
