@@LenRivera even if I could get away with riding the pole like that let alone have enough room to build this entire pole on the ground in downtown Seattle I'm not sure it's much faster. To many unknowns. One broken fixture and it's not worth it. Not to mention we'd never get away with letting traffic go till at least 2 nuts are in place

They needed to go about another foot and a half to balance the pole. They didn't factor in the street light arm length in this pick.

They haves Out of service bags instead of rotating it over.

They go off of the center of gravity. Also trial and error.

Some contractors will put the pole up first and then place the mastarm. This is definitely quicker but trickier at the same time.
