Amazing Visit To Hug Point State Park On The Oregon Coast!

If you're looking for things to do in Cannon Beach or a Portland day trip, consider heading to Hug Point. There are beach waterfalls, some of the best tide pools we've seen on the Oregon coast and did we mention beach caves?!
The Meaningful Travel crew headed to Hug Point State Park near Cannon Beach, Oregon in the summer of 2022. Wagons had to "hug the point" before highways were built on the coast - and Scott takes this opportunity to get cozy with the coast!
The Cannon Beach area is one of the most photographed parts of the Oregon Coast. It has been featured in movies from Twilight, to The Goonies, Point Break and Kindergarten Cop.
