Casual reminder that in one of the actual episodes, Church tells Caboose that any shots Caboose fired would probably just bounce off a rock and hit him instead. And they actually did it.

This was honestly a pretty accurate portrayal, I think:
- Tucker's sick move against Lopez
- Grif blindly jumping in to save Sarge
- None of the Reds taking out any of the Blues
- Caboose getting a higher kill count than anyone else in the battle
I think this is pretty accurate.
And 75% was his own team

True, he was the only survivor. Although, Church and Lopez should technically still be alive. But comic relief powers definitely win out over being a robot/AI
Hey for the next death battle can everyone do Spike vs Lupin the III.
Then Doc showed up and revived Tucker, Donut, and Sarge by giving them CPR.
Simmons just needed to be rebooted (cause he's a cyborg).
Grif had some aloe vera rubbed on his neck and he was fine (much to Sarge's disappointment).
Sarge fixed up Lopez. Again. Then had him fix the warthog. Again.
Tucker and Caboose captured Lopez to make him fix Sheila. Didn't take much to convince him since they're in love.
Then the Blues once again convinced Sarge to build Tex and Church new bodies in exchange for Lopez.
Thus the never-ending stalemate at Blood Gulch continues.

@@exiegelastweekgamer1571 No, in the original series, Lopez had a bitter hatred of everyone around him, Sarge especially. He hates the fact that Sarge broke him so he speaks a language that only one of his team speaks, and even then not well. Between that and Simmons and Griff constantly breaking the Warthog. Later seasons soften him up, and his hatred becomes sarcasm and jokes, but he’s probably still waiting to recruit others to his robot army.

Lopez shooting Sarge made no sense considering that Lopez knows how powerful Tex is, and that he’d be the next one on the chopping block if Sarge were to die given by how he was the other closest red.

@@sintanan469 It would have been funny, but it's a bit too meta. Especially given that they already did an episode of Meta vs Carolina to showcase that they have Red vs Blue equivalents in universe. So taking their original places and then going back to Red vs Blue would be jarring.
The efficiency is why Grif's death was so brutal. Texas didn't fight Grif like he was worth her time. She took him apart quickly, disabled him then broke his neck so she could get back to fighting Sarge. It was remarkably brutal in the sheer disregard for poor Grif. It was a smooth take down though.
Last time she fought Grif, she just took it out on his balls. So she doesn't need to play around for the second time.
I'm surprised that Grif was one-shot like that. He's come back from shotgun blasts to the face.

It actually felt a little out of character for Sarge to say “Huh. About time.” But it’s very easy to forget that he often shoots Grif point blank with his shotgun.
(Actually hang on, Grif has taken an absurd amount of fire, both friendly and enemy. He’s got to have the same durability at Agent Maine at this point.)

That "Huh. About time!" line said is actually in line with his entire personality and complete lackluster views on Grif. A sign that he thinks Grif is fat and worthless and is an entire disposable unit for if anything goes wrong. It's like the whole Zombie Plan thing, where the only thing constant about all 37 zombie plans end with Grif getting eaten and used as zombie bait.
That's Sarge's thing. Any die hard RvB fan will say the same observation.

I love how in the scene where Caboose's bullet bounces around hitting everyone, it shows the bullet narrowly missing Sarge's head

Pretty sure in this scenario where her only mission is beating reds she would fail because of her nature of being based on a failure.
Well technically Donut did successfully killed Tex back in Season 1, and did take down lots of Tex clones in season 10. So there’s that to consider.
I say red team would win if blue didn’t have Texas. Didn’t know how to feel about them killing the red team and then blue team dying because of a joke...or the grenade coming out at the end to kill sarge...don’t know how to really feel.

I think Donut might be alive though. He only got shot through the visor. That’s nothing compared to being the crash sight for a ship, having a grenade stuck to your face, being light red and not pink, getting shot in the chest and having your armor lock for at least until midway of season 8, and being shot in the back of the head by locus.

@@abeljames3660 i don't think they would kill Tex in a hand to hand fight, since to be honest its hard to imagine Tex dying to fists, but i guess what they could've done is getting Simmons in the Warthog/Puma, and just using the machine gun there to get her killed why Grif and Sarge distract her. That actually would've served as great reminder that Simmons is smart one in the group. Warthog was probably still able to use the machine gun on the back, since it looked unharmed even after Meta shot it with multiple explosives, so i don't Sheila's shot harmed it either.

I really love how caboose managed to kill the entirety of blue team besides for himself with one sniper rifle shot 😂. Safe to say if caboose was a tiny bit more intelligent the blues would have wiped the floor with the reds cause of Tex and Tucker. But I’m happy with how they mitigated Tex being overpowered just with cabooses shear stupidity and affinity for team killing.

As according to 1 of the characters dr grey it was safer to give a killing machine control of a gun rather than caboose because according to them caboose with a rifle for 10 seconds was a busy day at the hospital
The rifle has the AI of a Mantis (UNSC vehicle) that makes the gun fire confetti when the trigger is pulled. this makes it imposable to team kill and makes the gun very accrete. It made for a very good gag at the end of the Choris(?) trilogy.

Anybody else realize that the Freelancer project was basically a failed attempt at creating more Spartans?
At the end of the day, one project produced a guy who blew up a Covenant Armada and defeated a 100,000 year old parasitic life form which was the remains of a 4th dimensional alien race. The other project produced a bunch of guys who took down corrupt officials, killed several well trained killers and defeated an AI who literally transcended space and time itself. No matter how you slice it, Spartan and Freelancer produced some of the best (and unlikely) soldiers of all time.
@@Daldi564 Project Freelancer's heyday was during the insurrection, after that it fell apart both by having most of it’s assets liquidated by ONI, and one of it’s operatives literally going insane and killing most of the other operatives. While good in theory and on paper, in practice it was not sustainable, could lead to operatives going insane due to incompatibility with the AI, led to the torture of an AI in order to break it down to produce less complex VI, and probably broke more laws than the Spartan Project ever did. Sure, the Spartan II project violated a lot of laws, but the Spartan III and IV Projects ended up creating a much more sustainable army of super soldiers than Project Freelancer would have ever hoped to achieve. I’m not denying that despite their looks, that the candidates and operatives of Project Freelancer achieved incredible things at the end of the day, but they have done somewhat well in a war that only encompassed a single planet, and likely would not survive what amounted to a galaxy sized war between the UNSC and the Covenant. The only ones capable of doing that would be Sarge, Wash, Carolina, Tucker, and Caboose. Texas would fail and be destroyed.

@@stevedave8415 Oddly yeah, and out of everyone in the Red Team, Sarge was really the only one tough enough to hang in there against Tex in a one-v-one. Obviously no chance he could beat her, but Grif literally only lasted about 5 seconds against Tex while Sarge was holding his own against her for a while before and after Grif stepped up, he was really the only one who could've lasted long enough for the other Reds to possibly finish up their fights to help him out (which it turned out they couldn't because Lopez and Donut's combat abilities were sorely lacking compared to Tucker and Caboose, but still).

And Caboose's sniper shot just bounces off of Donut and Tucker's visors. It doesnt actually hit their head. Grif is maybe dead but even then I wouldnt be surprised if the armor can save them from that

2. Church Tex and Shiela are now stuck in a perpetual heck due to the fact that the only bodies they could possess would be lopez or caboose
3. Simmons died from fall damage and possibly the force of the car exploding snapping his spine.
4. if sarge was still alive at all after being blown up he would’ve just kept fighting.
5. Donut survived getting a 100 pound ship drop on him as well as being pushed far enough through the entire mountain of blood gulch into the caves and then fell like 33 feet, so yeah, alive, but tucker is a wildcard.
6. How does armor protect you from getting your neck snapped? And armor lock doesn’t help, because there’s no medic around to help Grif.
