There are such beautiful songs written and sang to praise the lord in all of the languages of the world, thank you for sharing this one in German. God bless you all.

Hi, Cynthia! So glad you enjoyed the German version of Praise to the Lord, the Almighty. Thanks for putting it on the favorite list! Hope you had a great day and God bless!
Hi, Cheryl! I would love to say that they got it from me, but unfortunately I don't speak German. German was Martina's first language. It is interesting that the English version and this German version have different words and meanings. Blessings!
Start to dislike German song because this Nazi army has tortured and killed a lot, to the Jews on the second world war, very painfully. To the children's of Abraham isacc and jacob. But when the "for his name's sake" sung the German song, it reminds me the Bible verse to loved the enemies as thyself. ❤. Amen. God bless and stay safe in God's protection on earth as long as you have a life to lived on this earth. ❤.Amen............... truly.
Hi, Khrawbok! It is interesting that the author of the original words in German, wrote them in 1634 (about 100 years after Martin Luther), which was long before Germany was even a country. It was just a collection of states, governed by their own kings. How things have changed. Hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!
What a lovely rendition! I loved hearing it in German, and your voices blend so beautifully.
