Hey Mike your videos are really good! I've been binge-watching since my last comment. I am a DIYer and find them helpful, makes me want to be one of your apprentices. So far some of the young guys working for you don't seem to happy, enthusiastic or motivated. They seem like they got in trouble, are doing community service and don't want to be there, lol! You seem to like, do well and take pride on what are you doing. Like you said in one of your videos " you learn something new everyday!"
New subscriber. This is only the 2nd video of yours that I've watched. I'm assuming that the young guy is your son? The apprenticeship is a lost art and is sorely needed in today's America. Props to you for getting him involved! HVAC is an invaluable trade that he could pick up and make a lifetime career out of. Keep at it brother!

Mikey; I see the problem with your employee turnover. You have a "wise guy" personality. While entertaining for the viewers, it is not very respectful to your workers. If you do not preserve the dignity of the workers, they will get discouraged and seek other opportunities.

@@mannys9130 I had been using the HVAC company supplied Merv 10 filters. I switched to Merv 5, and it's like I have a new system. Major air restriction was happening. Now my AC actually cuts off during the day. 🤣
@@mannys9130 love the explanation😉. I've had a total of three additional returns added to my house. That helped, but that filter was still too restrictive. I have in slab ducts with a couple of very long runs. With that Merv 5, my back rooms are getting such good airflow. I'm so happy.

The S200 dome pool filter is obsolete and prone to cracking after 15 years. The panels on the roof would be way hotter then any attic contraption he made. It might work ,but not as good or as the heat from roof panels.
Blowing the drain back into the pan is a bad idea, whatever caused the blockage gets blown back into the pan or worse. A pain in the butt but, vacuuming it out would have been the best way to clean it out.

The reason why you have moisture in the flue pipe is because your C vent run is too long and the flue gases cool down below the due point before they make their way out. Poor installation 🤨
