Great podcast as always love your style and designs. Just purchased the cardigan next on my list😉yourself and Laura beautiful knitters. Wedding looked fab 🧶x
I'd love a what I knit in 2023. Your wedding dress was beautiful. I love how you looked so different ok your wedding day and you made a dreamy knitted item 😍
so lovely to hear about your projects, plans and how lovely your wedding was! and how special those Zakami skeins are already! Once you start knitting them you are going to fall in love even more with their yarn (speaking from experience). Best of luck with the exam results, love to watch your videos, so this podcast has been perfect company tonight for my knitting. Take care!
Would love to have a GP who knits. I am an older (vintage) knitter so it is so encouraging to see young people keeping the knitting tradition going and passing their knowledge on. Would also endorse the You Tube channel of Those Twins who knit. Thank you for a lovely episode.
Really enjoyed the podcast. As for everything knit in the past year videos, I don't really like those, but I do like seeing how the knit wore in the year, was it a successful knit, did it fit in with your other clothes. Also how did the yarn hold up. I also like seeing items that didn't work for you and why not
Just finished a Sonja sweater by Petiteknit in Suri and merino DK and it is a new favorite! I think the first tee looks gorgeous and am already thinking about yarn options :D I am a bit over the 2023 recap videos ;)
I almost started crying when you talked about having something knitted with so many memories in it in a chaotic time. I have been walking through a hard month, it has caused me to actually not cast on any big projects because I don't want any memories of this time tied into any of my knitwear. However, I don't feel the same about casting on gloves or socks as I haven't knitted any in over a year. But something completely crazy has happened while I knitted my first Penny Gloves, the first gloves gauge was looser than the second. I can live with the difference. But then I cast on a pair of socks. The first socks gauge is completely wonky, uneven and they just don't look good. But the second sock is looking amazing. However, row and stitch gauge do not match so they will end up looking like completely different socks! If anyone here in the comments can help me figure out why this is happening?! Could it be because I wound up my hank over a year ago and let it sit? Could I have wound it up too tightly making the inside if the cake pull my yarn and it messed with my gauge? Or am I just going completely mental? Loved your Maude Tea so much I think I need to make the long sleeve version of it with buttons! Living in such a warm climate I would never use mohair in summer, but could definitely love it in winter with a sleeve! Thank you for inspiring me at a time I didn't think I could find inspiration ❤❤❤ congratulations on your wedding! You looked absolutely stunning 😍
3 days a week salaried GP work *is* near enough a full time job (you'll be in 8.30-6/6.30 or so) Start light but financially realistic and add in if you need to, think about what sort of practice you want to be in too. Happy to chat you through my mistakes!
I’m over the “Everything I Knit in 2023” videos. There’s been so many of them and I stopped watching a couple of weeks ago. BTW, your wedding cardigan is beyond beautiful 😍
Thank you for a wonderful podcast! It will be fantastic to see your 2024 knitting so please don’t worry about 2023. Onwards and upwards! ❤️

No need for a 2023 video, just move forward. Good luck with 2924 ❤

Wish I had a knitting group like that! Would be lovely to meet more people my age with a passion for fibre arts! They look lovely 🥰
They’re the best. Would encourage to get involved in any in person or online knit nights and see who you meet!
Love the photo of your back and Pete looking at your “cardigan”. The look on his face is classic 😀.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely comment & for watching 🤍
Your friend is clearly a talented knitter.
Lovely podcast….. what a great looking couple… God Bless you both
Thank you so much!🤍🤍
I love your new tee design!
Me too! Let’s hope it works out ok 🤞🏻

So true! Would love to hear your mistakes 😝
Lovely episode, I am wondering why you wouldn't knit your two wedding yarns together, they look like they were dyed to be paired together?
Thank you! I just thought they would go further into two projects if I split them…double the fun
thats true too@HiveKnitsNatters
I would love to do your test on the first tee. How do I apply?
I do my test calls via instagram and usually a UA-cam community post too 🤍
I can’t imagine you not passing a test on dealing with patients. You seem like a very sweet, engaging person who would get on well with anyone.
That’s a very lovely comment thank you.
For the chunky first sweater why not do a roll neck as an option to knit alone, like the Me&Em brand do?
Ooo. What do you mean knit alone?

I think you’re right - I’m going to leave it, the moment has passed! Onwards 🤍
