Terrific information. Perhaps you can clarify this in another video. There is much discussion about the F53 Koni Evo 99 shock being adjustable. If adjustable, how are the shocks adjusted. If adjustable, what is the default setting when shipped to customers? This information would be very helpful for RVers who want to consider the upgrade to the Koni Evo 99 shocks.
Thanks for the feedback! These shocks are actually not manually adjustable but instead incorporate the same self-adjusting FSD technology as the 8805-1018 and 8805-1019 shocks, just with a larger bore and different valve design which allows for more fine-tuning of low-speed control while still maintaining good ride quality. We did also just release a manually adjustable rear shock, part number SS88-1889, for the Sprinter 3500 2wd, dual rear-wheel chassis. We have a video which describes the adjustment process for those shocks.
Thanks for the question! Either one will be a good upgrade, depending on your price point. For a newer 18k we would probably lean more toward the EVOs because the lower GVW F53 coaches tend to have an especially harsh ride, which the larger bore EVO will definitely help with. Also since your factory shocks don't have too much wear on them yet you will probably appreciate the more dramatic improvement of going to the "best" option, rather than the "better" option of the FSD. @@Bru_Tube We do have one! The SS401 (supersteerparts.com/products/supersteer-ss401-rear-trac-bar-for-ford-f53-20-22k-gvw-kodiak-45-5500-18-22k-gvw.html) will fit 16-22k GVW F53 coaches with the new V8.
@@Bru_Tube Sorry our e-store wasn't showing the SS401! We've actually just updated our site with a new Year/Make/Model search that works quite a bit better. I just tested it out and for a 2021 F53 18k, the SS401 is one of the first parts we show :)

Just got my set of EVO's and they are GOLD. Did I get the new shocks or the old shocks
They BOTH are the same shock on the inside. The "gold" ones are the newest design.
Wish I would have know last year. I just put the others on.
Sorry to hear it! However the gold FSD's are a much better shock than the OEM's!
Where is this shop
We (Henderson's Line-Up/SuperSteer) are located in Grants Pass, Oregon.
These or older FSD’s on 18k 2021 F53 V8 Class A’s?

Thanks! Can you share the link for the rear trac bar for this same model? You don’t seem to have one for the 18k chassis.

Thanks, just update your website so folks with 18k can pick 18k an order. ; )
