Once again another clear presentation of the use of a rather common word in Italian and as always with a sparkle in your eyes and a charming smile on your face. Thank you for helping us understand the actual use of Italian in real life while simultaneously pointing out the correct approach and rationale behind such a use.
Valentina you are such a great teacher, your videos are always so informative & have been so important in my progression. I’m very thankful for what you do! Grazie per tutto il tuo duro lavoro!
I nearly became crazy searching for good practice resources and a teacher for my Italian and suddenly I found this. Love all your video. It really helps me.
Ciao Valentina, mi piace molto tua lezioni. Io sonó di Messico e amo vederti. Tu sei molto bella e inteligente. Grazie Mille.. please keep on with your lessons. Sto imparando per mio lavoro. Love ya girl.!!!!
Thank you so much! Mil gracias! Esta palabra siempre me ha intrigado. Acabo de terminar mi primer curso de italiano en Dallas, Texas. Subscriptora de por vida! Ciao e grazie!
Grazie per il tuo video. Allora è una parola che preferita. Quando ho imparato mi piace usare quello anche parlo inglese. Quello è una bella parola. Un abbraccio
Grazie, Valentina😊. I often find "allora" confusing because it sounds a bit like "ahora" (now) in Spanish, which I speak as a second language, but it seems to function more like the word "entonces". Devo insegnare al mio cervello a smettere di confondere le parole 😂. Un abbraccio! 🤗
Buongiorno Mariam! My videos on UA-cam don't follow a specific order, but you can find all the videos I've uploaded so far here: www.youtube.com/@ItalianTeacherValentina/videos If you want a more organized structure, please check out my "Italian 101" online program, which follows the same curriculum I use with my tutoring students. It covers listening, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar, and includes video lessons and interactive exercises, and it's especially designed for beginners and total beginners: www.valentinastellatutor.com/how-to-enroll-in-the-italian-course-101/
In the sentence you wrote, "da allora non sono piu tornati in Italia", i don't understand where "they" is said, as in "they didn't return". I was expecting to see "loro".
In Italian we usually drop the subject pronoun (eg. io, tu,...loro) as we don't really need it to understand the sentence, since the information of the subject is contained in the conjugation of the verb, which changes for each subject pronoun. I talk more in depth about this concept in this other video, please check it out: ua-cam.com/video/Y7LrlV3gUWg/v-deo.html
Hi Valentina. First of all thank you for creating useful content, it’s very helpful. I just wish you do not speak English and even the explanation be in Italian with English subtitle.
Buongiorno Nazgh! Thanks for your feedback. I want this channel to be beginner friendly, so that's my main reason for using English, but I do try to incorporate many examples so students can also absorb the language. Also, do you know that I have a dedicated playlist with videos in Italian only? It's called "Italian Listening Practice", you might enjoy it 😉: ua-cam.com/play/PLaeKp_sNLJVzAE7fuGlmoxi2dugE-dYod.html&si=0I0Nrs9NAezpF7mf

Oh no, che peccato!
