its a poe lang limb, same company that makes mankung, center point, ek archery, velocity, bear, yak, etc. standard 80lbs prod will not fit a cobra, without filling out the riser.
Hey Mark, great video and channel, i just subscribed Looking for some advice though. Which alternative limb would you recommend for the Stinger 2. Steambow having a few issues currently sourcing various limbs and alao there is some inconsistency unfortunately. Id like a true 80lb limb on the Stinger Tactical. What would you recommend please thank you
yeah i did see, its joerge grinding his axe, i asked him to put the ek limb in the steambow, i had no reply and herers the kicker, both crossbows are made by poe lang in taiwan, both limbs come off the same production line, if there is a difference, uts because poe lang have designed it that way, to push there own brand, which is ek archery. so expect to see a law suit soon and a change of production. would explain the mag problems as well. genuine 80lbs limbs is on the current op360 or mankung alligator, i done a video a year or two back if doubling the limbs and trim a quarter off either end to give you around 30lbs, the resukt was a crossbow that was nearly impossible to cock on the lever and you had to use a foot claw.
@@markhuckercelticcrossbows7887 thanks Mark. So, if I have a Horizone Red back 80lb limb here, there's no reason why I can't put it on my Stinger 2 right? Is there anything else to consider? The shape of the limb is slightly different but that shouldn't matter right? Does the power stroke on both bows need to be the same?
@@The_True_Ark the downfall of the pistol bows is, the rails are to short, i think i mention it in a video from last year, even if you fitted a full size 220lbs limb out of barnett commando, you would still only get about 150lbs, as you can achieve full draw. put extra shims behind the limb to push it forward or get a second bow, trim it and put it behind the front one, ill post a link on a video i done in the posts community section now :)
8:50 edited wrong order sorry guys
wow, your pumping the videos out this week!
sometimes it feels like I'm running 2 channels :) lol
pay attention to the group size, on this old cobra, compared to the video on the survival, using the reflex sights!
The survival is a ton more accurate than the tactical.
I'm gonna be using this limb, to make a new adderini, all tactical black, start printing in a few weeks
Is it basically a redback limb for the most part? 🤔
