First Impressions: XVenture Trailer

- We love checking out the most extreme vans, RV’s, and trucks at Overland Expo, but the convenience and simplicity of a trailer is hard to beat. The XVenture XV-2 from Schutt Industries was one of the best off-road trailers that we came across this year. Equipped with a water tank, solar panels, and a massive kitchen, this small-but-mighty rig has you covered.

These trailers will follow you over tough off road tracks. We’ve had ours over the Mohave Road.
Another thing that I forgot to mention.Think about this? this is a base camp setup, we don't know what his needs are, he may be feeding a club for all we know or a big family, in that case, he is very prepared to meet that demand. So let go easy on people that are wiling to share how they camp and overland to us, there is a lot we can all learn from these videos that we enjoy watching.
Thank you,
Steve

It is defiantly over the top, but everybody has a different outlook on camping, traveling and offroading, to each his own. Why do some people feel the need to criticize others for the setups that they enjoy? I am sure he would not be bashing you for your setup, more than likely because he enjoys overlanding and camping so much, and it is obvious, that he would encourage you to use what ever setup you have and get out and enjoy the outdoors. Just my thoughts.
Thanks for listing.

very nice setup
Shoot! I leave everything in my truck. Its always ready for an overland trip!
Nice!!
Dude has a Tembo Tusk Skottle, a Camp Chef stove, a Jet Boil Genesis, and built in burner with the trailer. How many stoves does one man need?!?!?
geez I bought a canoe and an rtt and thought I over spent
Nice, but.....starts at 12K!! I think would be better to get a high roof van. More and more people are bringing every creature comfort and trying to replicate their home environment outside. The whole point is to enjoy the outdoors without having to feel like you are at home. Not saying don't be comfortable but really do you need all of that?
Well with a trailer like the X-venture you can still get over a lot of off-road obstacles. You can throw 33" AT's on them and the suspension systems on them allow for a lot of articulation as well. Whereas with a high roof van you're going to be limited as to where you can get depending on how off-road capable it is.
this is so ridiculous. like bad ridiculous Why be "outside"? Just stay home if you can't leave all your little urban toys behind. Yuck.
