Hi Rowan. Here's a thought. Work on getting your land first - and then look for that rig on the used market. You could live between both pads on your land - while saving more assets to build tiny home.
Hi Rowan❤ your videos You’re really a smart girl and I know you’ll make the right choices. I just wanna give you some advice. You don’t have to take it of course but I’d hate to see you. I think the person that mentioned buying a piece of land first was such a great idea this morning as you are I’m sure you could make it happen ! But your adventure and I’m sure you’ll make good decisions All the best to you and your little buddy❤❤❤
I'm homeless in Cleveland Ohio, I don't have a car, I'm living in a transitional, door dashing and uber eats on electric skateboard. I get a car it's a wrap....I intend to be in nature someday in the next few years, but I have to notch some things off. I'm a nomad like u, so thank you, u inspire me to really get out this matrix of capitalism.
Rowan please don’t rush to buy a camper. There are so many used campers out there. Look on line for reviews! Beware! A lot of these campers are made with fiber board and cheap materials! They lose much of their value overnight! I had a NuCamp teardrop. Made by the Amish with solid wood cabinets. It was perfect!
Love your videos! Just be careful if you get a trailer- check w your Honda dealer on the safety of using the Pilot to tow. Check tow capacity. RV dealers are not always truthful.
You are truly doing great🎉 I remember when u were struggling financially and door dashing. Look how far you have come, girl❤. Take your time. You're doing great ❤❤
Hey Rowan, if it makes you happy with what your doing, POWER to you. You have time to keep looking at ALL kinds of tiny homes, so take your time. Make your money first like you want, right behind you on your decisions, yeah, 👌👍🤓💯
I love your Door Dash videos (I love all your videos)! We are all going to be so happy for you when you get your land and tiny home; thanks for bringing us along on your journey!
Good for you Rowan! I love following you. It’s good to see your following your dreams. My husband said to be careful with the Honda pulling a trailer. Salesman will tell you anything for the sale. Love Ruby’s channel ! Look forward to more door dashing!
agree with being careful about pulling trailer with car. plus, we loved our trailer however, trailer depreciates quickly and, need constant upkeep. while travelling things shift and shake. if you park trailer in one place for extended time also not good, floors will rot, mice etc. etc. sharing our experiences . . .
Your videos are like hanging out which is fun and your laugh is uplifting. Sometimes when I know I have a busy day ahead, I tune in in the morning to see your window into quiet solo van life with Ruby. It helps me get clearer about what my goals are even though it's not about being on the road like your life...and i miss having a dog in my life so Ruby is a cutie to see.
Cool just Rowan dropped the video. I think I’m the first one going to grab me a cuppa coffee 11:30 AM here in Northern California gonna enjoy her video thank you ma’am you’re awesome.🙏💙☕️
Towing with Honda. Check if that’s just trailer empty or full. We were told the same with my husbands F150. But once loaded with water, gray, black tank full his truck had a hard time on hills/mountains pulling. Water will give more weight and your personal stuff on top of it all. Just FYI. We sold ours and just did the Van build ourselves. We also looked into the teardrop. My thing to my husband in case something happens we have to get out of trailer and climb into truck. Minimal places to park overnight.
Yes, be very careful to do your own research when they tell you your present vehicle will do the job. They just want to make a sale. You would likely need a truck to pull a trailer like that.
I absolutely love you and Ruby. You have built up an amazing community channel. So real, wholesome and enjoyable. You are such an inspiration to me. Stay safe xxx

Rowan is a naturally beautiful woman with the sweetest demeaner. Her cerebral capicity is very stimulating & occupied with primarily positive thoughts that she expresses so well. She is such a darling person...
Hello Rowan, I have a little history with RVing and I wanted to share what I understand. First there is no right or wrong RV there is only the right RV for you at that time in your life. We have had about all of them at one point or another and each served us for what we were doing at the time. The first thing you have to outline for yourself is what are you doing and how are you going to use it? If you are going to park it on your land when you get it or are you pulling it. Is your land in the North? Can your car really pull it without ruining the transmission? You always want a buffer zone on towing, you don't want to pull max capacity. If you are going to be living in a cold climate you want a four season camper, we currently have an Outdoors RV a higher end one with heated tanks, even still with the slide it is still cold because of the air loss. Your car would not be able to tow an Arctic Fox or an Outdoors RV rig Maybe your Van could Lace is another four season camper. Teardrops I have a love hate relationship with, we owned a CampInn raindrop and I loved that company because it felt like a 50's home build but having to open the counter tops to get into the cabinet was one main reason I was done with it when we sold, My two cents on a tear drop would be I loved cooking outside and it was a great camping rig maybe a trailer version that had an outdoor kitchen and the interior prep area if the weather was bad, a stand up version kinda like a small Canned Ham trailer. If you get a teardrop and it has a rear kitchen make sure the cabinets open like normal kitchen cabinets and in my opinion save the extra cost and there is no need for a sink because I always did my dishes in a basin on a table and I need that counter space for using the burners. I could tell you all the pros and cons of all the "rigs" we owned but I am just going to say if my husband ever wants me to drive the rig again I am the most comfortable in a class C with a van chassie and NOT a Mercedes one I have found I am more comfortable with the heavy duty American Ford or Chevy front end like everything you have to research the model year of the engine and see if there was issues for certain years and avoid those years. Good luck what ever you do.
Greetings from New Mexico. My husband & I moved from Spanaway Wa in 2006. I grew up in Spanaway in the 60's/70's, so much has changed it seems from looking at your video. The building in Tacoma with the clock tower is the Old City Hall. At one time, many years in the past I would dine at the beautiful Old Clock Tower Restaurant. It was very eloquent with linen napkins, crystal & China. Now I've read Old City Hall has been transformed again , soon to re-open. I admire your courage Rowan, living your nomadic life. I enjoy watching your channel & glad you have Ruby. My husband & I get a lot of comfort from our animals. Thank you for sharing about your life.
I was in a minivan for 3 years. It was getting older, so I had to sell it. I also had a Equinox and a teardrop. I am now using my Equinox and Teardrop. Little more room. I can use both vehicles to store things. I love it.
You can do it! A tiny home is a great idea and I know you can reach it! You’re right, the van is beautiful but you’re shaking the life out of the contents! Best wishes!❤🇨🇦
Rowan for me your videos are like visiting with a friend. You totally made me 😭!! I’m so happy for you and your onward and upward journey. Bless you and thank YOU…love to Ruby too!💖🐾🍓
Seeing as you are a dog lover who picks up pooh you might want to consider finding a neighborhood you feel safe in and putting up Flyers to clean up dog poop in people's yards😮 hands down I have paid every helper that's come up to my property 25.00 an hour to rake and or pick up poo that's mixed in with the sagebrush😮❤ there was a post on Facebook not long ago about some teenage boy that was making a fortune doing just that😮 I smiled and thought of my daddy used to say the easiest fastest way to make money is to do the things that other people don't want to do❤❤❤ happy travels
Rowan, you have THE BEST attitude towards everything! I love your smile and your laughter and I'm so thankful that you and Ruby found each other. You two are incredible! You are going on the adventures that I'm unable to and I love watching your journey.😊 ❤
It's always exciting to think about the future and take steps towards reaching those goals. As a previous RV full-timer my only advice would be to verify the towing capacity of your vehicles yourself. I have found the sales staff of dealerships often overstate the capabilities of what a vehicle can pull. Consider not only the weight of the trailer, but of the additional weight your things add, the weight of gasoline and water. It all adds up quickly. I am all for buying used vehicle. Have it checked Just something to consider. Best of luck and so enjoy your videos.
Rowan, I really just look forward to spending time with you every week. You really make me look at how freely we can all live. Thank you. Best of luck with the second car!
Well if you were taking votes, I would say two options; one, a tiny home so you can enjoy just sitting still and have a yard to play in, and flowers, two, buy a piece of land for the RV, and take it on the road when you want to travel, and live in the RV. But I’d say, get a tiny home on a piece of land, and take either vehicles on the road when you want to travel. You may appreciate the tiny home when you’re older. Just my two cents. But you will figure it out. I always think of you and Ruby. ❤🙏🐕🦺🐾🦴💐
23:36 Hi Rowan! I just subscribed but I’ve watched for a while. I had the thought that you could pay off the van, get the RV (which I ❤️ btw) then next step, find THE land. Park the RV there and live in it until you can make the tiny home happen? Love to you and Ruby!
It is physically impossible to experience depression and gatitude simultaneously. I start every morning counting my blessings and being greatful for all I have. Thanks for all you do and safe travels ahead!
I live in a very tiny home...shed really...but lined and past inspection...love having my home but l do get restless..lucky l have an old van which l have owned for years...doing it up so my dogs and l can holiday...and good luck
Sounds like exactly what you need to move forward. We love your channel, you are such a positive, warm, fun loving human and we appreciate you. Ruby is a bonus. Keep Smiling and Shining ❤😊 🐕
Rowan, thank you for the kind words. But really, you provide us with such nice videos, and we are lucky enough too because we get to meet Ruby. Sometimes, when I am overwhelmed, I feel so much better after watching your videos (and Ruby's too). There is something "grounding" and honest in your material, I cannot explain it. As long as you have your channel, I will watch what you share, I will "like" your videos, and comment from time to time. All the best to you Rowan, and thank you for helping me come back down over and over again. You rock. Oh, and, Trailer #2 has my vote.
I made Cinnabon coffee with frosted sugar cookie creamer so I could listen. First sip...now I'm ready to listen...I'm so excited for your next adventure and sharing it with us. Yay!
Enjoyed the video and being able to tag along. Several people commented about doing your research on pulling something with your Honda, I thought that this was smart advice. Just my opinion, I hope that you are able to get some land and a tiny home. You would be able to come home, relax, wash clothes, cook and bathe as much as you want with ease. Then when you got ready for a trip, it would be there when you came back. You could grow yourself a garden... Do you think that you would look for property in Washington? Whatever you do avoid these states that the Hurricanes love! Another thing that I think about is the fact that anything that you buy and pull around is eventually going to break down. It's just facts. If you get something of quality, and it is in a stable environment, its likely to last longer. Less maintenance than something always moving and being driven...Just my thoughts. Take care of yourself and Ruby and be safe out there 🥰🙏
You can get a class 4 tow hitch on your van, a tow dolly, and tow your Pilot from campground to campground. Then you can have the best of both worlds instead of going into dept with an RV loan. RV's are leaky money pits no matter how nice they look at the moment. With the Tow Dolly option, you can unhitch your Pilot and Door Dash.
I for one, am glad you decided to door dash again. You seem much more invigorated by making money and you are the one controlling it, and you seem happier being about your day this way. I like the scenery tour too. It was great that you had your quiet, slow living but now you are focused on your goal of a tiny house and land. Looking forward to what your channel will offer in the future.
I ve got a 4 season camper 25.8 feet. I could drive it with my van. I have built a 21 by 6 deck, and it helped to stabilize it a lot. I found a great small community that is a very affordable lot rent . It is 12 to 15 minutes to the next small towns. 25 to 60 to midsized cities Not flooding area . I have a tiny home in the making. I am very blessed. I just hope my husband will still be here with me. I am so glad you are finding your way through your life, too.
You and my goals are basically the exact same & we seem like we would get along as we seem to have a lot in common. I’ve door dashed for the past 5-6 yrs too. I’m a 44 yr old woman & mother of 4, grandma of 1. I’ve done the car living before in my 2008 Chevy avalanche truck (I gave to my 21yr old son) for 10 months & loved it. But I really did learn so much about myself during that time & love the freedom that comes with it. I did wind up getting back into a small apt w/ my 19 yr old daughter & grandson. Been here last almost 1 1/2 yrs. I recently bought a Chevy van about 3 months back. I’m gonna convert it in the spring & start my travels closer to around my home town area in the beautiful PNW. Plan to just leave the apt for good to my daughter & grandson & start my healing journey adventures. But my end long term goal is to find a beautiful piece of property off grid somewhere & either purchase or build a tiny home for home base. But definitely want to travel, travel, travel. As I haven’t done a whole lot of that in my 44 yrs of life. So I’m ready!! I would so love to meet up with you one day to meet in person & maybe plan a fun adventure together. If you would life anyways. I’m so happy for you with your new car & getting back out into dashing. It’s not really my favorite thing to do honestly. I mean it’s not bad. But not my fav. It just works for me & my health issues. Since I can do it whenever I feel up to it & stop when I feel terrible. Love choosing my own schedule. Ect. Excited to continue watching you and your channel grow. Love Ruby too! Always makes the cutest expressions. I got my little side kick Rico (chihuahua) who will be my travel buddy. Eventually want to adopt a bigger dog too. Anyways sorry about my book. 😂 Can’t wait for your next video. Take care and be safe out there 🫶
happy for you and Ruby and thank you for sharing your adventures with us. When Ruby posted her last video my husband laughed so hard I told our dog Freya let’s go watch and our dog runs to the tv and watches tilting her head as Ruby runs or eats ❤
Hi Rowan and Ruby, I am so happy for you girl and the Rubes as well... Will continue to follow your journey ... How exciting this must be for you. I have never been to Tacoma; I do live in the Tri Cities area of Richland WA. One day I would love to see what Tacoma looks like but now that you are dashing I can see it through your eyes... Safe travels, and again much happiness for you and the Rubes ✌💜😊
Rowan so happy you got another car and everything will work out well with the door dash. I admire you for traveling the countryside alone with Ruby. You r a brave woman. Love how you just make things work. Can't wait for you to get your tiny home and land for Ruby to roam. Take care and stay safe. Love ya!
Hi Rowan, when we were looking for an rv we watched Bish’s Rv on utube. He’s great the have all kinds of rv’s you can get great ideas that way. Watch the tow rating to on your vehicle they seemed kind of big for your vehicle to tow . Bishes explained that well too. When your ready ,,, just an idea. Good luck with your goals ! You will do it🙌❤️
Rowan, Keep pushing forward. Your dreams are valid and within reach. You surely are a ray of sunshine. You are so good to Rubs and I love watching you.
😂 I do that with Chips too! And loved that 2nd camper. I love that you are Door Dashing, and screw the Daycare, if its nice weather, take the dog with you and crack a window. And just put the Food in the Back, away from the pet and in a Door dash Bag. Lots of people do it
I love the gratitude & vulnerability you share Rowan. Did you notice there was a crow 🐦⬛ flying behind you in the sandwich scene, and then again while dashing? Love em! 🖤🤍 Hugs to Ruby Rubes!
Beautiful PNW!! Fellow DD, isn't that how it always works...every order is ready, easy delivery...you forget how frustrating it can be. lol Yeah, I turned off that feature! I can't see when it gets dark either. Thanks for keeping me going and giving me hope. Hoping to get on the road next May. Love Ruby's channel 💖
Rowan, just watching you and Ruby blesses all of us❤ You re one of a kind as far as UA-camrs and so lovable! Believe me, I will keep you and Rubes in my prayers! Happy New Adventure!!
Hi again Rowan, Saturday morning here about 10 am in Australia. I just enjoyed a leisurely brekky ( breakfast) watching your latest video thank you. YT tends to still send me various videos from the past for you as well as your latest. I have really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful Ruby videos too. I of course realise that your life is not all easy but I have to say, that you make it seem really freeing and wonderful. Seeing you go door dashing, making plans, reuniting with Ruby and exploring your future options has me at 66, really wishing I had taken chances and tried a different way of life when I was younger. Seeing parts of the world through your eyes is also fun. Another content creator but newer to it all, is Birdie from Wayward Abode who was recently in that same area I think. I enjoy watching and laughing along with both of you. Your giggle makes me smile. Go well, Rowan, stay healthy and enjoy this time of your life. I hope everyone in your world is doing well. Enjoy your weekend when it comes around. 😍🐷🐓🕸🍮 Happy Halloween if you celebrate that too. Very very low key here.
Good morning dear❤I know you can do this! But don’t you need to work some to make money to save? Anyway that’s your business, not mine. Sounds like you are intuiting what to do next! Oh, ok this makes sense, you are going to push the door dashing and now you will be able to save. I think it’s a great creative solution!❤
Hi Rowen, I loved the door dash around Tacoma. My sister lives there, and I live in Wisconsin. I've visited her there once and it's a beautiful place to live. The views are stunning, and there is always something to do if that's your thing. I live on one of the great lakes and also have beautiful views but in a different way. Good luck to you with your new adventures.
Towing with Honda. Check if that’s just trailer empty or full. We were told the same with my husbands F150. Hi from R.I. You are really fun to hang out with! Good luck with your re-entry into Door Dashing. A tiny home would be cool, however they can be pricey these days. Maybe you could find a little camper and check it out for awhile in order to not be suddenly stationary. Oh you're still in WA. I will be on 11/26, I love it out there. I am really curious which route you'll go. Tiny House or a tiny home on wheels.
You are such a smart Woman. My dream is to live in a Tiny Home but like you now I could see the RV, however, I still think the Tiny Home. Only thing is I don't know how to even get started. You are so smart and courageous. I admire you.

Wow Rowan that’s great news! Keep exploring what works best for you and Ruby! Thanks for sharing your new wheels with this community! Excited to see the next part of you and Ruby’s journey! Congrats and Best Wishes on this new chapter in your life’s journey!💕👍🐾🐕💐🍁🍂🚐🚗
Great information!❣️
Love the dash and chats and you and Rubes!!
Did you grow up there?
You're an inspiration to so many! Ruby is so lucky to have you! My son lived on Vashon years ago and said it was beautiful in that part of the country
Hi Rowan! Hey whatever you decide to do I'm behind you 100%. Whatever makes you Happy! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us ❤❤❤
I was in a minivan for 3 years.
Love that! Door dashing. & tiny home goals. Can’t wait to watch
Rowan for me your videos are like visiting with a friend. You totally made me 😭!! I’m so happy for you and your onward and upward journey. Bless you and thank YOU…love to Ruby too!💖🐾🍓
Good luck Rowan with this new journey. ❤
God bless you Rowan! Love your videos. You’re so inspiring!
Rowan, I really just look forward to spending time with you every week. You really make me look at how freely we can all live. Thank you. Best of luck with the second car!
So excited for you! Thanks for taking us along as you work toward your goal of land ownership!
We are just so happy for you and Ruby. Congratulations 🎉❤
I'm glad you're doing so well with your channel.
Congratulations 🎉. I’m so excited for you and Ruby ❤
You are such a kind, humble, friendly and courageous soul! You inspire me! P.S.- I’m an occasional Dasher too.
Love your channel! Your videos are everything when I’m feeling depressed ❤❤❤❤and your food always looks AMAZING 😍 thank you for doing what you do‼️‼️❤
Rowan, thank you for the kind words.
Hi sunshine! It's always a delight to watch you & Ruby's adventures. Take care & God bless.
I made Cinnabon coffee with frosted sugar cookie creamer so I could listen. First sip...now I'm ready to listen...I'm so excited for your next adventure and sharing it with us. Yay!
omg yea like in same mood as Rowan!!
@@angie-xy5sf /Exactly!
Aww, that was fun! Thanks for taking us along on your DoorDash adventure! Love your laugh! Ruby is such a sweet pup! 🤗🩷
Rowan you are such an amazing lady. I pray you get your land and home soon.xxxxx
The pacific northwest is JUST amazing. I miss living there.
You're having fun & that's what matters. One day closer to your tiny home. 👍❤
I love you Rowan and Rubes! ❤ I look forward to seeing you both. You brighten 🌞 my days hun.
My 1st time back in a while, Life be really lifing. I'm truly happy to see you and your fur baby Ruby doing well ❤
Rowan so happy you got another car and everything will work out well with the door dash. I admire you for traveling the countryside alone with Ruby. You r a brave woman. Love how you just make things work. Can't wait for you to get your tiny home and land for Ruby to roam. Take care and stay safe. Love ya!
Action !! Enjoy it , you seem so enthusiastic. Happy for you 🎉
I ❤ watching your videos! I really enjoy your positivity & your laugh, you are beautiful!I am praying for your next chapter & tiny home.❤
I miss Doordashing. I miss making my own schedule. Sure, it’s unpredictable, but you can’t beat the freedom.
So excited for your next chapter.
I feel like I'm hanging out with a friend sharing recipes you are a great find thank you so much. And my stomach thank you
Hi again Rowan, Saturday morning here about 10 am in Australia.
You and Ruby are such a joy to watch, you brighten my day!!
Hey knot just hooked! Where in Wisconsin are you from? I'm from central Wisconsin too!
A new adventure! Love watching you and Ruby!
You're such a good mommy because I'm a firm believer that a dog is part of a family and can be loved like a child love you
That last r.v was perfect. Easier to get around if your pilot will,0ull it...wow!😊❤❤
You are such a smart Woman. My dream is to live in a Tiny Home but like you now I could see the RV, however, I still think the Tiny Home. Only thing is I don't know how to even get started. You are so smart and courageous. I admire you.
