We haven't used it this summer bc it's been to hot but as soon as it cools down we plan to use it again. The link may actually take you to the 6 inch version since they've upgraded the blade.
On a side note, I did use it much more after that initial video. So far we still like it. For the price, I am amazed that it has held up so far. I even wound up buying a second one because they were on sale. That one was the 6 inch we mentioned in the other reply. Both are identical bodies, with just a longer chain and bar. And both have worked equally well. The battery life could be longer, but for the price I am still happy with it. Now that I have two, I plenty of batteries charged LOL.
Thanks for the demo man. We just got one for pruning only but I said, I wonder if somebody punishes this thing on youtube, found your vid...cool lil saw.
You bet. We've definitely put it through paces for potential buyers wondering what could be done with it. Or buyers that bought it on a deal and wondered. Bc we honestly were skeptical. Thanks for watching.
If it wasn't for your video, I wouldn't know how to get it to run. The manual mentioned nothing about holding the safety lock and trigger together. Thank you for the instructions and the demonstrations. Now I can use it for what it's intended. Hey, why didn't you use the gloves it came with or any gloves? Safety 1st. 😊
This was purchased before it came with gloves. They've changed what's in the packaging probably in the last 2 months based on our second order [deal we couldn't pass up]. Glad the video helped.
Is this saw suppose to spark at the beginning each and everytime I squeeze the trigger and the safety lock simultaneously? The spark eminates from the grate on the side. I sent 2 emails to their customer support and contacted Amazon. I've not received any response yet. Thank you. 😊
This type of motor does use physical brushes. Brush motors will spark. The brushes will eventually wear down over the years and need replacing. That is one reason some will advertise brushless motors.
Great questions. We will see if we can put together a short video about this by the weekend. In one of the videos, we showed a quick tighten but it may not have been clear so I'll see if we can get a better shot of that.

This would be nice for pruning our peach trees. I'm going to give it a shot.
Curious if you still like it since it’s been a year. Thanks for the video!

@@TheProjectHelpDesk Thank you. It's good they added it now.😊
Where do you put the chain oil is it along the chain
How often do you oil the chain?
I oil mine fairly often actually. I would estimate about once per battery change. Since I am stopping anyway I add an oil squirt.

I got one but don't know how to tighten the chain when it get loose. And how often do you have to oil the blade?

We finally were able to film & edit this: Thanks for asking ua-cam.com/video/SyVCkt7XNvM/v-deo.html
