Why Every Desk Feels Too Tall (and What We Did About It)
This video chronicles our process of setting up a DeskHaus Desk Frame with temporary top along with mounting monitors to the desk. The process is further complicated by the wife's anxiety with change. You get a glimpse into the challenges of setting up a new home office, highlighting the importance of patience, problem-solving, and finding the right equipment for individual needs.

All About New Huing Mini Chainsaw Chain
Just bought one. Ran it straight into my city fed gas line instead of using a tank. So far so good. Just watching vids cause im paranoid.
I just installed the natural gas 30K flame version. Do you see the thermostat regulate flame size? I set at one and my room is 67 degree not 61 as you posted. Wondering if the thermostat has a fault
First time seeing your video. I am a seasoned gardener. While at Walmart recently, I saw the Burpee seed starting trays. I like the design and concept of the silicone bottom for easy removal of the seedling, so I bought several trays. Getting ready to start seedlings this week here in zone 9a. Not sure how your seed starting went a year ago but would like to share a couple of tips for this spring's seed start. Seeds don't like wet soil and will rot. Don't water from the bottom as it can cause root rot from the potting mix being too wet. There is a plant condition called damping off, which is caused by the roots and stem being in wet soil for too long, and the plant will die. Once damping off starts, there's nothing to reverse it and your seedlings will die. It is best to use a hand sprayer with the knob turned to a semi- fine mist so the seeds won't be disturbed from the spray. The surface is what needs to be moist to germinate the seeds, not the bottom of the soil. Once the true leaves develop, then you can water a little deeper. Don't fertilize until the 2nd set of true leaves appear, and only use a diluted strength liquid fertilizer as per the container instructions for seedlings. I've tried several brands and personally like Medina HastaGro Plant food. Wonderful fertilizer. If your local nursery or Home Depot doesn't carry it, you can order it on Amazon. You should have a thermostat for your heat mat. You can set the temperature on the thermostat so the heat mat temp stays consistent, and you can monitor the temp. I like the VIVOSUN brand on Amazon. With regard to light, putting your seedling trays in front of a window is not enough light. You need to use grow lights with a minimum of 5,000 lumens and a daylight rating, which is about 4,500-6,000 kelvin. If your plants don't get enough light as they grow, they will become tall and leggy. Usually, the plant won't survive well after transplanting. Your grow station set up can be a wire baker/utility rack, either 48"x18" or 36"x14". I have my grow station set up in the spare bedroom using a 36"x14" utility rack. I hung 2 LED shop lights on each shelf. I use 2 shelves = 4 shop lights. I also use a digital timer to automatically turn the lights off and on. I set it for 14 hours on, 10 hours off. I bought the LED shop lights at Walmart 4 years ago, and they still work great. Make sure there are 2 LED strips in the light. I think Walmart has stronger LED shop lights now. You should go higher than 5,000 lumens if possible. Gary Pilarchik of the Rusted Garden on UA-cam is a master gardener who teaches about gardening. Gary has an excellent video about grow station lights that I'm including for you. Wishing you the best with your spring garden. Happy gardening! 🙂 ua-cam.com/video/d_-XI0xbhtE/v-deo.html LED shop lights ua-cam.com/video/7lmihHVhNJs/v-deo.html Distance Grow Lights Should be Above Seed Starts
We've actually gotten grow lights and a huge heat pad either that season or the next plus a fan to fake wind inside. Thanks for your seasoned advice.
Now it's my turn to get one
It was a good one.
This is my first time watching their video and I already love them. They're soo damn cute 😁
Thank you. 😊
Hi when you dispense the water is it incredibly loud like a slight vibrating noise?
I think the answer is yes. Oddly enough someone asked for this before, so we actually made a video on it: ua-cam.com/video/OHldGWO8D2U/v-deo.html
Basically, a relay kicks in when the water runs and it can be a loud noise at first, and sometimes a hum sound. We hear it when the ice maker refills also. I have heard that a filter needing changing can also cause the sound.
@@TheProjectHelpDesk thank you! We just got the fridge installed this morning and are learning what’s normal and what’s not, thanks again!
You are such lovely people
I have very similar utensils and the handles are bamboo and they should not go in the dishwasher
We rarely use the utensils that came with them because we have plenty of others that don't have the bamboo handles, but yes they are definitely hand wash only.
I bought the Kenmore filter for my whirlpool fridge and yes is exactly the same filter, Thanks
Thank youu
propane has it's own smell. Gas Co.s ADD the roten egg smell to Nat. Gas since Nat. gas has NO odder.
Interesting. I had never heard that before. I wonder if it varies based on the region the gas is extracted from? The big provider of gas around this area is Ferrell. And according to them, both are odorless and they add Ethyl Mercaptan to both. www.ferrellgas.com/tank-talk/blog-articles/what-makes-propane-gas-smell/ Also sometimes called ethanethiol, this pungent smelling compound is an ideal additive to quickly catch someone’s attention that something is wrong. The chemical is used in both propane and natural gas - both of which are naturally odorless - to help identify a leak.
Thanks, I was not sure about the propane.
He COOKED. Take it easy.
just bought a 30000btu blue flame lp mr heater. does it actually cut off at a certain temperature. i put thermostat on one and room gets hot at 80 degrees. i was hoping the heater would cut off before then. so far i have not seen it cut off i have to cut off manually.do you think i have a thermostat proplem?
There is a thermostat on the unit itself. In a small space, because of the heater size, it can heat the top of a room considerably before the heat reaches the thermostat to trigger a shutoff. I keep mine on setting one. Which shuts off at 65 degrees roughly. And it is fairly accurate for my huge basement.
Can I use this in my basement
Short answer is, it depends. Basically, you would need to make sure that all of the manufacturers instructions are followed for the space. IE ventilation and connection. Keep in mine that my setup, with a 20lb propane tank, was for testing purposes. It is illegal, likely in every US state, to keep one of those cylinders inside a dwelling. I am in the process of connecting mine permanently to my black iron gas piping.
When my wife farts in house the O2 alarms sounds off. 😮😮😮
@@krowbar23 Spoken like someone who has been married long enough that 'poking the bear' becomes a hobby instead of something to avoid LOL. I totally identify with that.
I clicked the video for the pots and pans, I stayed for you two lol !! Love this 🤣🤣
Thanks so much. This one was 100% unplanned. To be fair, I thought I'd hate these pans. They have been one of the best things we've purchased. Recently I bought a different set with a different mechanism that double locked for a gift. We asked if we could look at them. We took 2 minutes to decide no these aren't as good. No review needed.
I just had this same fridge delivered yesterday and wasn't really told much about it. I was wondering if your's has a coil of soft plastic tubing zip tied down low behind the drawers inside the fridge side? I can't tell if it is supposed to be removed and used somewhere else or if it is suppose to stay put??
I should mention we ordered it online because none of the stores nearby had it in stock to look at in person.
@@coxdevj that is the chilled water line. The coil lets it cool faster. More surface area. It is supposed to be there.
@TheProjectHelpDesk Oh okay that makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply, I really appreciate the info!
Thankee!,,,,
I caught the “Back to the Future” reference! Lol. ‘You’re not thinking 4th dimensional’
You must be one of our people! BTTF references at least once a day!

very helpful on the thermostat. Thank you.
This video blew my mind. I mean, how can she look 15 and 50 at the same time?!?
The next time it happens, pour baking soda in it and then straight vinegar, pulse on low a bit then let it sit, pulse on low and repeat. After several hours, dump it and rinse it, put cold water in it and put it on soup mode, let it boil and pulse a few times and repeat, finish with a wash cloth and a bit of soapy water
The final thing worked. Whatever that was.
3 years later and it's still a polar vortex
And if you can't get to the plug throw the breaker switch (probably in your garage)
Thanks for all your posts on the WRS588FIHZ they were informative from the start and allowed us to order with confidence our Frig in Jul2023 from Costco. Our Frig has always made a low level ratcheting noise when the damper door adjusts which is normal for this model, recently though it has started sounding more like a machine gun especially if the refrigerator door is open so guess it is time to change. Debating whether to just order the part as it looks very easy to replace or take advantage of the included Costco 2yr warrantee.
@@RIP-r6q Sorry you had issues. From memory, I think it is a pretty easy part to replace. But if you have a warranty, I would be tempted to use it. Unless it takes them forever to schedule it of course. I have always preferred to fix my own stuff.
2001 I got a Blue flame L/P wall mounted heater . It was still working great in 2017 I sold the house . in the 16 years I had to replace the Thermocouple . every year I clean it good dust gets in over the summer months and it wont light till it is cleaned out . I have one for my shop in 2018 I do the same with it each fall clean it and it runs great over the winter. If its not clean it will trick the carbon monoxide sensor and not light or go out after its lite . Heat puts off 100 Joules or 100 watt of electric current, that's where the power comes from .
I bought new rails for mine and now have to modify the bench because there’s not enough clearance for 1/2” thick rails and I can’t find 3/8” rails anywhere!
This video is old enough now that they likely discontinued the ones I had. Lowes love to do that.
What do I need to do to change the igniter battery on my new My Buddy MHVFRD20NGT heater? I can’t find anything on that procedure.
@@dennismackiewicz1032 the push button screws off. Battery is inside. We actually filmed that in one of the videos on this series. I forget which one.
I have the same model except it is Nat Gas. The glass protector has cracked and I was wondering if you had experience with this. I have a new glass to install but I cannot figure how to get the old glass out. There's so many screws and widgets I'm not sure if I should try to replace it or just get a newer model.
I remember those older models. Such a higher build quality than the ones they sell today. Unfortunately I have never worked on one though. So I have no advice. And finding and older manual like that will likely be difficult.
Thanks for the information good job, everything is risky mabey they should just say use at your own risk. WE must be responsible for what you do.
Thanks!
Thank you so much. This means more than you know.
I hate my fridge
What should I put the freezer temp to it's to cold on zero

❤best review ever, i love you you guys relationship 😂❤
That's kind of you. Thanks
Cool I am renting a house that's in between Reno it's all finished very modern but is side of an apartment , 1 bedroom 1 bath , 750sf anyways my landlord who (is very smart and mechanically inclined ) sent me next months coming electric bill (just under 700& , pro- rated for electricity he uses stuff in a shed in property.. he didn't say anything , but after telling him (k we'll I'll pay it ) cuz I was just kinda mad he just sent me that with an "lol" .. I told him , for a second time that the house is cold in the house and the mini split and fan vents , are running on high and it hasn't broken 68 degrees .. unless I run a space heater that helps the house reach normal temps .... but for the bull to he that high for a 700 sf house , hats not even warm I told him that it ws essentially unacceptable, I tried to offer to pay hvac pro , and a coworker who is a highly skilled hvac tech, to come look give his opinion maybe look at the mini split .. especially because he started talking about a pellet stove with radiant pipes going through the house .. which may work but gif bless him he like to try and reinvent the wheel. He flat out denied my wish to have a highly trained hvac person come .. just to give an opinion .. anyways I was away for about 3 days with parents for my birthday relaxing .. he went ahead (apparently with an HVAc person ) .. although I don't believe this I think he just said that .. he installed this unit at the end of a hallway on ther other end house .. I came home , I have not used it much but am. It particularly impressed , I think it works fine it seems to help the mini split reach its target temp .. and he did put tank outside . It looks fine I just think idk .. not even sure how he got all this done so fast , and kinda hope it's a temp solution although it's mounted to the wall . I already feel the mini split working much much better from whatever he did with that (cleaned filter . Apparently needs some maintenance new fluid .. idk why we couldn't just wait before he spend money on this and worked out in the cold ( which idk he won't say but I feel like he's mad about all this ) .. even tho I fully offered to get another opinion maybe 2 I will say I don't hate it , and it does seem to work good . House did smell like gas slightly. I just think we could've waited for the mini split to get serviced idk it is his house I wasn't Gina do anything without his approval but yeah it's there now .. was gonna put an end table / painting there . At least it's kinda aesthetic. Yeah anyways seems like a good low cost solution for heating a small space .. if anything this has shown me .. if I decide not to reup my lease in July to save for a for my own house I can retain some independence and live with my wonderful parents while renovating garage space with savings when winter comes I can put one , maybe two if these bad boys in and heat a cute lil living space and maybe even rent it out to give my parents who are both about to be in retirement some extra income if I don't live there one day. And they can find a good kid it's a big garage (4car so we can make a studio apartment in there and still have plenty of storage I've wanted to do this for some time I've looking into various ways to do this as cheap as possible and this is just one more thing that can help in that project if I go with it . Sorry long message thanks for the vid I couldn't find pamphlet and you showed me everything I need to know about this unit
Maybe a Mr. Heater blew up and caused the LA fires, LOL. BTW, there are Massachusetts and Canadian versions, I believe.
The other end was a flare fitting. That rounded off look. You never use tape on those.
In the video you apply yellow tape to the fitting going into the heater, my question is do you apply the tape to the other end of the fitting going to the line? Thank you for the video
I have a 40 pound propane container in the living room and no problem I gave up smoking a few years ago so no problems here
Was the best space heater created. It’s no longer sold in the US but this is the best space heater. Reason why is because it can be used not only as a night light but connects to an external thermostat that is best for ambient temp. Sooo sad
they have black now do u think they are well worth it stil ?
We love our set.
Can u run it of gala gas bottle
Good question. I have no idea. In theory, as long as that has the same vaporization rate as a 20lb tank then it 'should' work. But that is not a professional opinion.
😂
I went and bought the same refrigerator and one month later no problems I have whirlpool dishwasher, washer and dryer and will be buying a whirlpool stove in next month
Youll never need the highest temp setting!
I think it's mainly for actually searing meat, but when boiling water for hibiscus tea I just use the high setting because when it whistles I just turn it off. It doesn't actually reach sear temp..
Haha yea i set mine outside to heat backyard up😂. Thanks for video ill prolly stick with electric for now but very informative film.
Thanks so much for making this, so much easier than deciphering the manual :)
How do you lock the wheels so that the fridge doesn’t move when you open or close the doors?
From memory, there are adjustable feet used for leveling the unit. They basically twist to make them go higher and lower.
