mass attack's was the first version i heard and its still my favorite. having fewer instruments gives it this mournful quality because its missing a lot of the "christmassy" bass from the original. its a really unique vibe for an ice level theme and it always stood out to me as a kid.
I was NOT expecting the variety of different versions of this song, I thought they'd all be the same (maybe just different places where it shows up and maybe a higher quality down the line) but wow those other Kirby games really made it their own, starting with the bit-ifing and then just going wild but still keeping it true to the original
Another one of my favorites. This song just screams "Christmas fun in the snow" to me. As yoy mentioned in the description, there are at least two arrangements of this song in the anime. But I understand your decision to not use them in the video, since you would have to use episode clips and they're getting pretty severe about posting HnK clips on UA-cam. One thing to note is that Mass Attack's version (Ruins at the Night) has a very similar arrangement to the one used in the anime. Makes me wonder if Shogo Sakai actually worked on the second half of the anime, since so many songs from there are present in games he composed. Maybe he was the guy who did the non-orchestral BGM songs? I don't really know.

I remember I used to not like this theme in smash bros brawl and now I really love it
Yes… but the level from Super Smash Bros Brawl itself is not quite the Frozen Hillside I expected it to be.

I remember the mass attack level that was so cool
Pun
Kirby, Baby Kirby, Rick on a snowboard with Dedede chasing after them
For some reason , this theme kinda reminds me of ‘Another Dimension’ [a epic mysterious track] and ‘Frozen’ - which is a Disney movie series.
do you really have to explain to us what frozen is?
@@jclkaytwo To avoid confusion with this title lol
Hey! The anime remix is from EP86 japanese sub, at 2:55
They should Add Kirby air ride to mobile devices
I FOUND RUINS AT NIGHT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
It’s Kirbo boi!!
The snow is melting :(
I did not knew that out side
YOU HAVE SUMMONED A KIRBY ANIMATOR
I don't hear "Frozen Hillside" in "Ruins at Night."
Ruins at Night includes 3:51-4:15 part of Frozen Hillside but slowed down and with a different beat.
@@foreverkirby Thanks.
