- Talking about a creepy little Minecraft channel that's popped up recently, could it be a new creepypasta? It def has the story for it.
Maybe we'll see Herobrine, lol jk we won't.

Fun fact: The Endermen were inspired by slender man. You can see a lot a similarities between the two.

Then the eyes were changed to purple but the ender pearls are still somewhat green (at least for me)
I'm a year late but I always thought that the endermen were inspired by SCP-096. They're both tall entities with particularly long limbs that react with hostility to being looked at.

I remember in the old game villages were in the game, but there were no villagers. It was always scary since monsters would spawn inside the houses out of no where and cave sounds would play everytime you walked by a house without torches. It always scared me as a kid
Didnt they remake those and make them super rare they were abandoned villages i remember

@@faustodaniel5716 i'd like to think that those abandoned villages exist cuz the pillagers raided them before us aka the player can even get the chance to discover them and the iron golems couldn't save the village and the villagers either evacuated to another village or they died
Damn i had completely forgotten about that, but yeh i can relate they always gave a deep feeling of... solitude, and creepiness. Its interesting in the past it was always a busy topic how minecrafts word was basically empty of sentient life besides the player. Thou nowadays theyve added a lot more "life" to the mix

Besides the unoriginality in the whole "Old Reupload" trope, this arg made me feel really uneasy
Im not sure if I would call it good or not yet, but its not bad since it can at least actually make me a tiny bit scared unlike other args
The best args make you feel scared but desperate to find out whats next covering your screen with your hand just to lower it to see what will happen thats the perfect arg
I actually kind of like that trope as it gives me a good nostalgic vibe, though one trope I can’t stand is found footage with shitty VHS edits despite the fact it was filmed on either a camera or computer
I like to think that this is an alternative version of Herobrine. Instead of being a "ghost of a dead relative haunting the game" or something like that, it's rather player-based manifestation of the game itself, one with malicious intent. Maybe it's hunting Goldmario and Anthony because of the "secret tutorial level." They hacked into and snooped around in the game files. They cheated.

it really can't be Herobrine, since he was originated in Beta 1.2 i think.
From the way these videos are structured brings me back in a time where the Israphel and Herobrine were the big bads or characters we feared and liked from how they're viewed from the MC community back in its early years.
Does anyone remember that one girl UA-camr that did a skyblock world and then after a couple of episodes just straight up blows up her world? This is what this channel reminds me of

Tnt pwner is probably just to pad the channel out, make it seem more "real" instead of just a collection of arg video on a reupload channel
about the tutorial, there was a button in the menu named "tutorial" or something like that in the alpha/beta days, it was locked and it is unknown what it would have looked like

@@David-bh7hs i didnt start playing this game when that came out. i only know about this game's old stuff (like in 1 or more infdev builds, shooting arrows will spawn a random mob)
great video! glad to see someone picked up on this anomaly of a channel, i really think that if this series goes on long enough it can become a big deal but as is its probably the most underrated piece of online horror out there

Hey, awesome breakdown of the videos! I've been keeping up with Old Minecraft Reuploads since the second or third video, I guess (I even leave my notes with possible timelines and summaries of things we know on the comments to reacquire my train of thought when a new video is uploaded lol), but I missed some of the things you pointed out by a long mile.
I swear I watched the TNT PWNER video like a dozen times searching for something, but I never noticed the text... I mean, I noticed it was aggressive, but I thought it was just the player roleplaying and trying to be edgy, like the music suggests, but those parts you showed fit in very nicely with the current events, so bravo for that! I also never noticed how Anthony's model doesn't appear when he opens his inventory. I guess this just goes to show that solving these ARGs (or whatever this is) as a commnunity is much more feasible than trying to do it individually.
Also, since you enjoyed Old Minecraft Reuploads, have you heard of "gmod9fan reuploads"? Some time after I watched OMR I began searching for more "reupload" content like this, and I found that channel, which I think might have inspired OMR to make their Minecraft videos.
+1 subscriber, looking forward to a new video of yours on this if OMR ever decides to upload again! And if you know of more "reupload-like" content (dunno what else to call it), let me know about it, I'm digging this kind of stuff.

This honestly seems like an Entity 303 type of story. Like you know how Herobrine is the better, more successful counterpart to Entity 303? That's what this ARG seems like compared to Alpha 1.0.16 Versions/Lilypad. Maybe it got more interesting after this upload, but I'm not hooked enough to take a look

man why are most arg's consisting of just a bundle of videos, some encrypted words, and a hivemind of theories surrounding it, I mean, it's not that interesting to me, like why make just a simple ammount of videos when you can just, make an interesting puzzle revolving around the topic, ya kno, make things more interesting, I'm not forcing this into future arg's that have the same grindset of others, I'm just saying, if you want to make things more interesting for everyone, that including your viewers, then go ahead, you'll know if it's worth it or not.
I hope it's not the ghost of a previous friend of Anthony... That would be bland.
stumbled upon this video on accident while looking for reuploads of something completely unrelated. ended up watching everything on that channel and regret nothing.
the concept of intriguing short videos that at the end raises a lot of questions comes straight out of the blair witch concept first of the name, you were perhaps not born when the film was released. It was psychologically gripping.
Since the herobrine urban legend is impossible to reproduce, people are embarking on even more intriguing concepts. I don't know if it's called art but to some extent it tells something that doesn't actually exist and in which everyone takes part and participates.
and from all this will be born rumors.
It's like show magic, there is always a trick, in truth nothing is true.
Anyone can do this, a virtual desktop with an old operating system, old version of java, old version of minecraft, know how to code to change the version to an unknown version while the version is out for real, anti date , have a poor quality video recorder, upload the series, say nothing and let people express themselves on the subject.
I will be able to do this especially since I have an accessible youtube account from 2006 which will give me more credit since I will have been present on youtube for a long time, and therefore known minecraft in 2009 easily. But I don't know if a third channel of this kind will work, it would be deja vu.

I’ve personally began an alpha world and intend on updating the game version by version slowly over time and I have to say, ARG’s have been a great way to immerse yourself into the unknown of the game all over again even if it’s not really all that unknown.
Too much effort for me, but yes, the earlier versions give off a feeling that modern minecraft just doesn't have.
I completely forgot about subscribing to this channel lol

Castle Construction and For Anthony are very interesting when taken together. In the first, we see the fog get turned up and someone moving while the game should be paused. In the second, we see the game being loaded from save, showing that this is very definitely a single player world and there should have been no way for that to happen, yet not only did it, but even more has changed while the world was not only not being played, but being transferred to another computer. This is, to put it lightly, Not How Minecraft Works.

Theory: The Black Player Seen In The Loading Screen Is Probably A Clone Of Anthony Because His Skin Might Be All Black As Seen When His Skin Doesn’t Load In His Menu Which Makes His Clone Think His Skin Is All Black

Also the cave thing would kinda make sense if it was Anthony doing everything, because he can blend in if he has a skin like that
But also he is wearing a full set of iron armor. Even if his skin was black, we'd still see the iron armor.

Not me playing minecraft
This arg was confusing to me but it seems like Anthony is a ghost and that’s why we can’t see his skin, and that the person that pushes him could be a demon that pushed him in the hole, like it’s a hole to hell or another ghost that’s trying to kill him and those messages at the end seems like he did something horrible to an old friend or Mario I’m unsure but that’s what it seems like too me

I thought this was gonna be about Minecraft Lilypad but I was pleasently suprised to learn about an ARG I’ve never heard of before.
What i think happened is.
Anthony hacked into the tutorial world and gave it to mario but mario was always shooken up and scared about it and the goofy critter haunting the videos is a manifestion of marios fear. And i think the video with the fences is a representaion of a jailcell because Anthony hacked into the tutorial world. BUT THATS JUST A THEORY! A --film-- VIDEO THEROY!

You missed one thing on the :Minecraft base tour, near 1: 20 when he turns the corner use , and . to go frame by frame and you can see legs of a player.
