If you look at the clock when Legend goes into the end at midnight, it freaks the hell out. Like, straight up flips to day and night several times then just reverses. turns out I don’t play Minecraft enough
My theory is that Legendfinder was very passionate about the moon, hence why he even tried the rumor in the first place. But the extreme obsession that Legendfinder has, could stem from ever since his game crashed, the moon in the real world had disappeared. Now that it was gone, Legendfinder became desperate to finding it again or trying to get it back. The moon he saw, only being a hallucination and the playground symbolizing the beginning and end of his search. Now depressed, he spent the rest of his time looking at the only place he could see the moon, in Minecraft.
Yeah, I don't really see the ARG part of this. It's a cool story and all, but where's the "game" aspect? You don't "play" this thing, you just watch it.
Theory: The moon is taking or killing people or making them go crazy by making them look at it and the moon oversees controls all other moons in games and stories; wherever the moon can exist. And I don't think the guy in the Minecraft series is the same Legendfinder in the very beginning of the ARG. I think it's someone different, proving the theory that the moon is taking people through other forms whether it be the actual moon or a fictional moon. So basically, in the Minecraft series, we're seeing someone new be taken control of the moon. And soon, another person will fall victim, possibly in a new game series that has a moon, like Legend Of Zelda for example.
Holy shit, the story of "the guy who saw something and ended up obsessed and spent his whole life looking for what he saw" Reminds me a lot of Gorogoa!
me and my sister had this rule for minecraft when we use to play together, whenever it was a full moon we had to immeatatly go to bed, i dont remember why we made those rules but this reminded me of it
as the average night enjoyer I've spent many a time staring at the moon and stars in minecraft so i know it cant be true but HEARING and seeing "don't look at the moon" in *DARK RED TEXT* was so fuckin ominous that it genuinely scared me for a moment lmao
I don’t know if it’s worth mentioning but some of the dates in the desc for his videos actually match up with the full moon/after full moon for that month, for example: 10/30/20 was a full moon that day. Interesting
minecraft is sometimes a happy block game but the ambience of the Hellish Nether or the deep abyss of the Caves nothing compares to slowly watching the sun set down only to reveal total darkness

This ARG didn’t sound like it would be too good but I have a feeling it’ll go deep and I’m glad I’m here at the beginning!
13:46: "We see what looks like a traffic light-"
[image of what is very clearly a doorknob]
The hotbar in the first "Look at the moon for an entire night" video looks like a message, just look at how the iron and redstone are spaced out.
??
It's the materials to make a clock in the game. No message.
This feels more like a creepypasta
Yeah, I don't really see the ARG part of this. It's a cool story and all, but where's the "game" aspect? You don't "play" this thing, you just watch it.
Gmod args are sometimes like this and they are basically creepypastas so idk
@@Gamikane the game part i think is just putting the story together.
@@TaoDragon_ Gmod ARGs are only named ARGs because of Stellar1 who populated the topic labelled them that. Unfiction would be a better suited term.
@@Gamikane he explained what an arg is in the video, watch it
"Minecraft lately became scary due to wardens"
Me being shit scared when i was 12 due to endermen and ghasts: *internal crying*
At around 13:53 you said it looked like a traffic light, but if I am not mistaken it is a doorknob
Thanks, one of my favorite things to do on our balcony is to stare at the moon, thanks for absolutely making me scared of the moon :)
13:45
That looks more like a doorknob than a traffic light to me.
The light turning on and erasing the moon almost feels like an allegory for light pollution but that’s probably reading into it too much lol
Holy shit, the story of "the guy who saw something and ended up obsessed and spent his whole life looking for what he saw" Reminds me a lot of Gorogoa!
Proof that it really doesn’t take a lot to make a good story
me and my sister had this rule for minecraft when we use to play together, whenever it was a full moon we had to immeatatly go to bed, i dont remember why we made those rules but this reminded me of it
as the average night enjoyer I've spent many a time staring at the moon and stars in minecraft so i know it cant be true but HEARING and seeing "don't look at the moon" in *DARK RED TEXT* was so fuckin ominous that it genuinely scared me for a moment lmao
I don’t know if it’s worth mentioning but some of the dates in the desc for his videos actually match up with the full moon/after full moon for that month, for example: 10/30/20 was a full moon that day. Interesting
minecraft is sometimes a happy block game but the ambience of the Hellish Nether or the deep abyss of the Caves
nothing compares to slowly watching the sun set down only to reveal total darkness
This is terrifying. Should have watched this at day ngl
Bro this is a really creative ARG, props to Legendfinder
@[ ] goofy moon ahh sound
@[ ] that is normal for that platform
The story went a lot deeper than what little I've seen from the arg
I love how Minecraft can be so wholesome one moment and be so scary in another
Many months later, Legendfinder became an astrologist as a way to stare at the moon more.
This remind me of Local 58
Next thing Legendfinder should do is lay down in his front yard in a victory position
bro im not very good with analog horror but local 58 was so good. i wish i was better with it because ive had nightmares after watching gemini😭
First there were GMOD ARGs but... now there are minecraft ARGs!
You do know another one exists, right? Way before this?
im glad UA-cam recommended me this video, i swear i watched it whole without noticing how surprising little views it has for such good production quality. Amazing work man keep it up im definitely subscribing!
This stuff makes my fight or flight instinct activate because of the trauma the herobrine stories gave me as a child... These are damn well made
Now I think about it
The camera tilting is the final stage of this obsession
Normaly to stop the shake a little bit you would put your elbow on the table. He relaxed his wrist, stopped caring about the video and so he stopped looking at the camera, just looking at the monitor screen. That is why the camera tilts
"don't stare at the moon"
also me in my survival world afk:
“Shadow entities, being set on fire, and world corruption- Yeah and I’m white, that shit didn’t happen” I’m already hooked lmao
I love how instead of pngs, it’s irl, it gives off a docuseries vibe 👍
"Minecraft's *Darkest* ARG: Don't Stare At The Moon" Ahh i see what you did there
I honestly LOVE videos like this! ARGs are some of the coolest, and most brilliant kinds of horror out there. They can be so well put together, and honestly super creepy!
This dude straight up ignored the fact that before the Warden there were the Minecraft cave noises and disks 11 and 13 that all gave people PTSD from just listening to it once. How can you forget such a scary moment that everyone has experienced at least once?
5:30 "when he watches the minecraft moon for an entire night, it crashes his computer"
cuz mac lol
none of this would have happened if he didn't use a mac on god
0:39 Love the subtle jerma reference :)
When the
I always know that staring at the moon would cause everybody to kill each other all in the name for a fishing rod.
something tells me i know what you might be referencing
is your hat your friend?

Yes! It helps me calm down!
Thanks for covering this! I’d heard of it before but never looked into it myself. One thing I can comment on is that an ARG, as opposed to general “unfiction” stories, has heavy audience involvement, through puzzles or communication- it’s a GAME, afterall.
