I never liked ditzy characters, but I make an exception when it comes to Gracie. She did it to perfection. I once read that Gracie never broke character in public.
I accidentally found this show one day and ever since I have been a huge fan and my kids are too. They are 22 21 and 18 years old. It's fun to watch them show their friends this show along with Benson soap and Archie Bunker. What's more fun is watching my dad react to them watching the shows that his mom would watch when he was a kid. Some things are worth sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Gracie was an incredibly intelligent women. If you look at how intensely focused her eyes are, you realize she not only knows her part, but everyone else's and is closely watching the other actors to make sure they deliver their lines correctly.
One of the best stories I heard was one time George had a brief fling and felt guilty, so he bought Gracie a diamond necklace and nothing was ever said. Years later, Gracie (wearing that necklace) met a friend and was complimented about it. Gracie said "I wish George would cheat on me again. I could use the matching earrings"
Another UA-camr did that and showed the entire series and they forced to erase all of their videos for the ENTIRE series! I think it was SONY that did that

This was the way Burns & Allen was first syndicated. Nice find.

One best tv show
"Ronnie Gets A Movie Role" {April 8, 1957}
I love how Gracie spoils Ronnie
Funny how they didn't have children in the early years then all of a sudden they had a son.
Ronnie and his sister Sandra were adopted in 1934 and 1935.
25:14- "This is Harry Von Zell saying good night for B.F. Goodrich."
I love Gracie
Love them
this can't be 1950 - Ronnie Burns was born in 1935! Probably more like 1955
1950 is ENTIRE series initiation year.
Goodnight Gracie
22:01- "And now, for B.F. Goodrich- GEORGE & GRACIE!"
George is mean, smart and blows cigar smoke...hahaha
Would you add the Season number, Episode number and what each episode is about? Watching these shows in the correct airing order is better.
Another UA-camr did that and showed the entire series and they forced to erase all of their videos for the ENTIRE series! I think it was SONY that did that

What?
Sorry, Gracie was the comedienne. George was her perfect straight man. That's what made their act work.
