I believe, as an international language band, in order to be successful you've to bring something new. You've to be unique and that's why Bloodywood is getting all the recognition.
Hey, I checked out these bands and I really liked Bhayanak Maut! Really solid melodic death metal. I would describe their sound as a mix between Soilwork and Meshugga with a hint of Dagoba. Thanks for the recommendation! Will definitely keep an eye (ear?) on them!
Random white dude is Karl Rock. German(?) travel vlogger and metal fan. The old guy playing the harmonium on the subway is, if my eyesight hasn’t failed me, Subir Malik of one of India’s oldest rock bands still touring (Parikrama).
Fun fact: It wasn't a Steadicam guy for those shots. They were able to have a drone operator come in to do all of the close shots at the fort location of the video. They shared that in a behind the scenes clip on their Patreon (which through their supporters on there they were able to afford the drone cam and they gratefully thank their supporters for everything they do and have done to help them get to where they are now).
So true!!!!!!!!! Jayant is my fave singer since OG Sepultura's Max Cavalera - both have such brilliant harsh vocals, both so heavy but able to be understood. Love it!
@@theoriginalpurplecat distinctly, no. There actually isn't. And to my surprise, they're playing here again in March, I woke up so early to buy tickets, and they're incredibly cheap, last year I think they were around £18, this time they're only £20, plus fees, which is INSANELY cheap in my opinion, I could honestly justify paying double to see them, they're that fucking good, do yourself a favour whoever is reading this, and see this band live, it's one of the best shows you'll be apart of, I can promise you that! 🤘🖤

I'm on Bloodywood's Patreon, and they've posted videos of how the process of getting signed to a label has gone. They have really taken their time with this process to make sure they don't get screwed over (I'm sure Karan having a background as a lawyer has something to do with that). I've no doubt their choice of label was deliberate and measured. Edit: And they also posted behind the scenes footage of them making this video- yes, they did use a drone, at one point flying it in between Karan's legs!
I absolutely love Bloodywood. I discovered them in 2019 and loved them right away. I was able to see them in Wacken the same year and they rocked. Then I saw in their documentary that they had only been on stage together a few times before and I found the performance even more impressive. Rarely seen a band with such joy in playing. Can hardly wait for the tour 🤘❤️
Bloodywood was already in my radar as I had heard some of their earlier stuff. This song did the rare thing of giving me chillbumps. So now, imagine a rather seasoned woman sitting in front of a computer knitting (sic) and getting chillbumps from an Indian metal band...
Tank! You're the man! I love your content and your passion for music. You're one of the few creators on UA-cam whom I absolutely adore. Godspeed, brother!
Looks like you've introduced me to my birthday present a month early. And around this time last year you introduced me to Electric Callboy after YT put your Hypa Hypa reaction in my feed when I'd watched a few AC/DC reaction videos. This has been a fun rabbit hole so far!
Their production is incredible. They put in these fantastic little sonic anomalies that just make it that much better. First new band I've absolutely loved in probably fifteen years.
I discovered them with your previous reactions, and it might be one of my favourite discovery They have this vibe, awesome, love the way they embrace the culture with an indian sound really nicely incorporated in more traditional metal sound
Bhangra feelings! This is great, thanks for a new favorite. New Delhi - I was there for a few hours, coming up from Jaipur to the airport what I remember is horrible air pollution over the city. Wild wild east, love it!
I was searching for new music to listen to and ended up finding Bloodywood, New Delhi. I was literally thinking " oh, this probably won't be good, but I'll give em' a chance ". 12 seconds in and I was already hooked! Thank you, Bloodywood! I am a fan!
These Guys are just Sick! Rakshak was my Album of the Year back then and Bloodywood itself are one of my favourite Bands since. Can´t wait for the new Album! 😎
I found them almost by accident- I got "tu Jeet veeray" suggested to me in my feed and I loved them ever since. I've been saying for years that international metal bands deserve more love from the western audience. Names like "Ningen Isu" and "Alien Weaponry" are huge in their own countries but are just now beginning to get recognition in America- that's a crime. There's a ton of good metal out there waiting for you to find it and no, you don't need to know the words, a lot of the time (Besides being subtitled) the music itself conveys the feeling of the song well enough to gain an understanding.
Tank, I had never heard of these guys before your video. I paused it right before your reaction, watched the music video from them, and loved it! Came back, watched your reaction, and enjoyed the information. Now I have them pulled up on my Spotify and have new music to rock out to while doing chores. Thanks for giving them the exposure, they have a new fan!
My first Bloodywood song was "Aaj", and I love it .. went straight into my personal playlist! Since this I forgot to check for any new releases .. thanks for reminding me! 😅
UA-cam mix introduced me to them a few months ago. They've been a part of my work playlists since. I work from home and often long hours so metal is great for keeping my energy up for 11 hour or longer days.
Tank, I love how emotional you get on things that excite you. We are 100% the same in that regard. Thank you for normalizing emotion and grown men crying for a multitude of reasons.
These guys are LIONS!! From start to where they are now, Im really fkn proud that 1 band can have this reach by puur passion!! 10:30 Karl Rock 11:50 Fing 11:56 Encore ABJ
Thanks for making me hear their music for the first time, loved it. They actually come to my hometown in France during their European tour, so I'm buying tickets as I'm writing this :)
I need to add this to my playlist! I'm a big bollywood fan and already love the cross overs to dance and rap, now a cross over to metal? I'm here for it! At about 10 minutes there is a part in the subway which is awesome. Nice little detail. There is a harmonic with keys that is used in traditional indian music (the guy with the blue whisers) So nice to see such traditional details as well!
I ust love how heavy yet positive they are. I get pumped every time I listen. And speaking of feels, man I played Jee Veeray for her and she teared up. Said we're going to that show! Lyrics hit hard.
this was fire!!! ive always loved the sounds of india.... then add metal?! Im sold! Thanks for reacting to this, im going to look for ur interview w the guitarist now!
I found these guys fairly recently because I went around looking for bands around Polynesia and the Oceanic territories; I found Gadaar and I was hooked.
Bloodywood's first album was amazing. I was looking forward to their next. This song is really growing on me. It's surprisingly easy to hear on repeat. Now I'm finally checking out the reactions. Thanks Tank!
Also this video is a homage to all the known musicians from Delhi. Youll find them throughout the video here and there. Indian people will know who they are while watching the video. Basically people who make the delhi metal scene. Band members from Parikrama, Undying Inc and Hip Hop artist Seedhe Maut.
Thank you for not hiding your tears, Tank... most of us, I am sure, have teared up from overwhelming joy when we heard this track for the first time. It feels like a reunion with your best friend who went missing for a year. These guys bring us light and empowerment, their aura is so pure and beautiful, listening to their music is like touching an angel's hand. Thank you for loving them as much as I (we) love them. God bless you and your family ❤
Tank, you're the best, thanks for this, I've been jamming on this since it came out and I'm thinking I just need to go overseas to see so many bands that I love and they don't typically travel here to the US ❤
I got so excited when I saw they dropped a new track; plus the energy you display while listening to them just makes me smile(I know that sounds cheesy AF). I really hope they bust things wide open, plus much more us dates, now that they're signed. Plus, Karan's guitar is a gorgeous BEAST!
Delhi is the capital of India, and New Delhi is the main city (there's also old Delhi). I'm from New Delhi myself and love seeing not just a national representation but even a home state representation. It's a wild city, for some wrong and really bad reasons (won't articulate here) but also for many solid reasons (the community, the diversity, the street food). Also more and more props to Jayant, doesn't get enough credit. The bollywood style Hindi vibe with consistent natural Punjabi undertone and easily switching between them - chef's kiss.

Bloodywood was already in my radar as I had heard some of their earlier stuff. This song did the rare thing of giving me chillbumps. So now, imagine a rather seasoned woman sitting in front of a computer knitting (sic) and getting chillbumps from an Indian metal band...
My first introduction to this band. Good for them. I love their sound. Also good to see a small country bringing about a metal band.
A small country? 😂 Only about 2 billion people in India
@@tdatrim ... I'm comparing it to the USA
India has 5 times as many people as the USA
@@Liz-cmc313Bless your heart 😁
Tank! You're the man! I love your content and your passion for music. You're one of the few creators on UA-cam whom I absolutely adore.
Godspeed, brother!
That was quick! But thanks for continuing to prop these guys up. They deserve it!
I agree with you- Bloodywood will be big
I discovered them with your previous reactions, and it might be one of my favourite discovery
They have this vibe, awesome, love the way they embrace the culture with an indian sound really nicely incorporated in more traditional metal sound
I am a fan!
Been following them since their yt channel was just covers. I love the messages they convey...would love to see them live.
These Guys are just Sick! Rakshak was my Album of the Year back then and Bloodywood itself are one of my favourite Bands since. Can´t wait for the new Album! 😎
Saw them on their European Tour last year in Vienna. That show was absolute NUTS!
Tank getting emotional over Bloodywood is not something I expected to see today, but I'm all for it:) Love to see it!
We had the opportunity to see Bloodywood live and they were amazing. Highly recommend!
"Epic harmonium intensifies" lmao these guys are so good. Gonna try and see them on that tour too.
❤ for Tank
❤ for Bloodywood
Good stuff mate!
My first Bloodywood song was "Aaj", and I love it .. went straight into my personal playlist!
Since this I forgot to check for any new releases .. thanks for reminding me! 😅
The way his eyes lit up man! shows how much he's enjoying this song

Once again, Tank is introducing me to new, unique and cool bands. Thanks!
Karan has such a badass look when he plays! Can't wait to finally see these guys live (unfortunately I missed when they toured the US last time)
Never heard of this band but absolutely fell in love with this. Thank you for introducing me to a new band.
Damn bro, never heard of them but this sounds sick af. Gonna straight to my playlist and im excited to dive deeper into their music.
Man, I've missed these reactions.
So glad to hear you liked this one as much as I did!
Love it! Missed your reactions, Tank!
Also this video is a homage to all the known musicians from Delhi. Youll find them throughout the video here and there. Indian people will know who they are while watching the video. Basically people who make the delhi metal scene. Band members from Parikrama, Undying Inc and Hip Hop artist Seedhe Maut.
Love this band!!! Great reaction
Yay! New reaction video! I've missed them. Awesome song ain't it?! Been rocking all day to it 🔥
Like Raul sang, Beast from the East! Bloody wood will Def be very big in Asia!❤😊
ROADIE REACTIONS ARE SO BACK LETS GOOOO
What a video! What a song! What an energy! I LOVE THIS BAND!!! The indian part of my blood is boiling!!! \m/
IT'S BEEN SO DAMNED LONG!! Tank, my dude, I have missed these SO much
Tank, you're the best, thanks for this, I've been jamming on this since it came out and I'm thinking I just need to go overseas to see so many bands that I love and they don't typically travel here to the US ❤
I got so excited when I saw they dropped a new track; plus the energy you display while listening to them just makes me smile(I know that sounds cheesy AF). I really hope they bust things wide open, plus much more us dates, now that they're signed. Plus, Karan's guitar is a gorgeous BEAST!
This is the first I'm hearing this band, and I LOVE it dude. Also big ups to Karan for the ibby endorsement!
Also good work tankie. Big thank!
Great reaction man. Absolutely fun and catchy song. Need this album now ❤️❤️🔥🔥
Delhi is the capital of India, and New Delhi is the main city (there's also old Delhi).
You have such a depth of knowledge which you weave into even your reaction videos - serious creds to you man - you have value-added analysis
