Thanks for giving this a look, really interesting! Might well be easiest to keep some sort of tank attached to the inlet for the pump, to avoid feeding mains pressure directly to it, as probably the pump isn't built to handle over 2 bar input - could use something like a float arm/entry fill valve, similar to that used in a toilet cistern?
